I figured I should probably find an image for Yumiko, so here it is. (Already added the image to my original character sheet too).

A little cross-pantheon influence. Neat.

Plus, someone who wants to redeem the Amazons' name in the eyes of the people is a good idea. I mean, Supergirl is already trying that for the S symbol, so someone should try to do it for Paradise Island and its denizens.
Also, imagine the hilarity that could come of meeting Catwoman.

So, to clarify for everyone:
Cutoff will be at 10 AM EDT tomorrow - that is approximately 25 hours from the time of this post. At that time, I will do a final review of the submissions and make my decisions. Good luck to all, and again, thank you!

Samuel Hawke was already a former alternate name for Uncle Sam in comics.EpicEclipse wrote: ↑Sat Jun 09, 2018 12:12 am Added Night Blade to Vee's personal impressions list here.
I'll wait until All-American's history is posted to add him too. (Though wouldn't Samuel Eagle be more apropo for a spirit of America? )
I am hoping to get backstory up by the deadline!

Batgirl III dropping out and thus removing the character I was most interested in interacting with has robbed me of most of my enthusiasm for this game.
I'm out. Have fun, all.

Hey guys,
Glad you like the concept. The character stats are below. A quick word about what I did. Based on the DC Mutants and Masterminds books that I have, even Artemis (never mind Donna Troy, Nu'bia, Wonder Girl, etc.) comes out way ahead of PL 10/150. So I had to "cheat" a bit to make it work. Also, she is Nubian/Egyptian, and worshiped the Egyptian pantheon at the time of her death so she has some different abilities than other Amazons.
SYMBA:
PL 10 (150)
STRENGTH 6 STAMINA 5 AGILITY 6
FIGHTING 10 DEXTERITY 4
INTELLIGENCE 1 AWARENESS 2 PRESENCE 2
Skills:
Acrobatics 4 (+10)
Athletics 6 (+10)
Close Combat (Sword) 10
Deception 2
Expertise (Tactics) 7 (+8)
Insight 4 (+6)
Perception 10 (+12)
Persuasion 6 (+8)
Ranged Combat (Throwing Spears) 8 (+12)
Stealth 4 (+10)
Treatment 1 (+2)
Advantages:
Attractive, Defensive Roll 1, Diehard, Fearless, Improved Initiative 2, Languages (Greek, English), Power Attack, Precise Attack (close, concealment), Quickdraw, Takedown
Powers:
Amazon Strength: Enhanced Strength 1 (limited to lifting)
Armor and Shield: Protection 4 (removeable, +4 toughness)
Cat Fall: Movement (safe-fall)
Immortal: Immunity (aging)
Fast Healer: Regeneration 5 (every 2 two rounds)
Weapons (easily removable)
Sword “Claw of Bastet:” Strength based damage 4, Range 5 ft, DC 25, Advantages
(Improved Critical 3, Affects insubstantial full rank, Penetrating 4)
Throwing Spears: Damage 8, Range: 400/800/1600 ft, (extended range, increased
range: ranged) DC 23
Offense:
Unarmed +10 (DC 21)
Sword +10 (Improved Critical 3, DC 25)
Throwing Spears: +12 (DC 23
Throw: +4 (DC 21)
Initiative +14
Defenses:

Total: Abilities: 72/ Skills: 56--28 / Advantages: 18 / Powers: 22 / Defenses: 10 (150)

Well, you can't expect all amazons to be just as powerful as the headliners. All things considered, she looks like a very convincing amazon build.

Updated Green Lantern Janet. Tweaked some numbers on the build, and swapped out her history for a longer, but hopefully more interesting, read.
Good luck to everyone! Lots of great characters to pick from here.
EDIT: Just saw this.

Thanks! You might not believe me, but I was actually Adventure Dan back on the AtomicThinkTank and the one who submitted Hope Corgi for the DC Adventures game. It's too bad that game didn't go anywhere.EpicEclipse wrote: ↑Fri Jun 08, 2018 12:38 am (I like Lantern builds. It's just fascinating the ways people manage to get such a complex iconic item from the DC universe built into a limited number of points. You did a great job.)

Hah! I remember Hope Corgi.
Nostalgic looking back at ATT. I was almost at 10,000 posts.

Recruitment is CLOSED!
Having spent the last 25 hours (approximately) trying to decide over these submissions was very difficult, but I think I've settled on four. I would have attempted more, but I experienced a sudden surge of lack of confidence over the detail that I know your submissions deserve, and whether I'd be able to handle GMing for 5 PCs with that level of detail.
As such, GRACE, INQUISITOR, PRESTIGE, AND GREEN LANTERN have been selected for this run. Thank you all for your submissions. I really wish I felt more confident and could get another two in, but I'm not feeling as though I could give as inspired hooks for more people, which would simply be unfair.
Those selected, please report to the OOC thread
