I've done some pruning of the obvious spammers and added in a security measure that will hopefully keep the number of new spammers to a minimum. I appreciate your patience.

I just wanted to take a moment & say "Thanks!" to Ares for his awesome work in Spambusting. It seems that here lately he's been having to do a lot of it and I'm sure he has better things to do (like explain how DC is screwing up Captain Marvel [again], and it doesn't matter that I agree with him).

I do appreciate the work you do Ares so that we have this place to use.

Thanks for the kind words and moral support T-Man! I know how annoying those spammers can be, and I'm trying to be more proactive now in terms of dealing with them. I updated the security question that should hopefully keep the bots out, and I'm now running the email addresses of all new but inactive members through Google to see if they show up on any known spam warning sites. Hopefully this'll cut down on the number of spammers for the immediate future.
