Maybe I'm missing something, but the web address for this very thread is: https://www.echoesofthemultiverse.com/v ... f=5&t=1336

https:// is right there, and I've also got the padlock icon on my address bar for the place as well. Should mean we're secure unless there's something I don't know, which is admittedly possible.

Interesting. Mine was insecure as well, but can be addressed via "https" and it stays secure. This might be handy, https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2271756.

How odd. I'll edit my bookmark of the site to the https, though I don't know why it can be both.

Okay, I tweaked things and it should default to https for everyone. If anyone notices that there's still an issue, please let me know and I'll make more in-depth changes.

It's not a default for me- I wasn't even aware we HAD an https version. It's been "not secure" for me since day one, actually.

"Secure" is only relative if you are passing confidential/secret information over the Internet (like SSN or credit card info) or if you are using SEO for traffic. SSL certificates are not what they once were and don't show the same level of security they used to.

And if I go to http URL it opens fine and doesn't auto-redirect to https version.

Okay, so this is a little weird. When I look at the site without logging in, I see it as secure- but when I log in it shows as not secure.
