Healing and scars, tattoos, piercings, et ceter

Post by Miracle »

How strong is Healing? Does it remove blemishes or does it just make the hurting go away?

Mutants and Masterminds, if that's pertinent.

Depends on descriptors.

Well, something like Regrowth--given that there are no rules for how you go about lopping someone's limb off--is left up to the GM. Scars and the like are strictly background (no mechanic effect) / descriptor (burns are more likely to scar a slashing attack) /personal flavor (do you want them?).

I think the default is that there is no scarring after Healing is used, not that it couldn't perhaps be a quirk on the power to say that a scar is left bebind or simply used as a minor complication or even flavor text. Whichever suits the PC & GM.
