It'd make Bam Bam Bigelow a pl 10, because that'd probably be pretty good on average but beastly for a lesser fed like ECW

and that also makes me think.....celebrities who take part in wrestling
Depends on the Celeb in question.Drew Carrey is probably a PL 5(and that's being biased,as i'm a fan of WLIIA),while Mike Tyson is easily a PL 9(like Mr.T could arguably be considered, though his Stamina and Fortitude would probably SUCK....)

But again, this is just my opinion,as it's all really up to Jab.....

I could see that.

Lawrence Taylor would probably hit a 9. He was an underdog for his fight with Bam Bam from what I recall, but still won it

Mr. T I could see in the same ballpark

Me,too!(only my friends used rip-off's of the NwO black & white with Cartman as the leader :) )
My only problem with this now is trying to figure out how a lock-up would work.....Maybe contested Strength and/or Fighting check?

But what about Wrestling "Styles"? You know, the type they insist on having in every single 2k WWE game made.Would they be more like a template? 'cause that's what i'm thinking.....

Ok, I think I'm gonna put up a build tonight, mostly to nail down what I'm going for. I'll post expected PLs afterwards.

THE BROOKLYN BRAWLER (Steve Lombardi)

Defenses:
Dodge +2 (DC 12), Parry +7 (DC 17), Toughness +2, Fortitude +2, Will +1

Complications:
Reputation (Jobber)- The Brooklyn Brawler has hardly ever won a match, despite being seen as "above" common Jobbers.

Total: Abilities: 18 / Skills: 6--3 / Advantages: 1 / Powers: 6 / Defenses: 4 (32)

-Steve Lombardi is famous for being one of the most commonly-seen Jobbers of certain eras, though was mostly a rare treat even by the early 1990s. Ugly-looking, flabby and unimpressive, he was nonetheless good at taking an ass-kicking, and being seen as one of head agent Pat Patterson's "Boys" (ie. they were banging), he always had a role. His biggest feud was with The Red Rooster, where Bobby Heenan claimed he could train ANYONE to a top roll- he chose the silly Rooster, who eventually split with him, and feuded with Heenan's new charge, the jobber Brawler.

-Lombardi would also go on to portray Kamala's "handler", Kim Chee, as well as Doink the Clown following the removal of Matt Bourne from WWF programming.

-To start things off, I needed to represent one of the "Tiers"- one of the most important things a game can do is note the difference between a high-level fighter and a low-level one. Steve "The Brooklyn Brawler" Lombardi is a good example- he can do many of the standard wrestling moves, but no more. This lets me know what the moves ARE, without getting crazy or going into too much focus. At PL 5, he is a jobber, but slightly higher than some.

Here are the Strength and PL Tiers as I see them. To me, the exact levels of Strength vis-a-vis lifting strength are immaterial- I think most Fat Guys will have a natural Immunity to Slam moves, up to a certain tier.

STRENGTH TIERS (Approximations):
ST 14: Andre the Giant
ST 13: The Big Show
ST 12: Hulk Hogan
ST 11: xxxxxxxxxx
ST 10: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, John Cena
ST 9: xxxxxxxxxx
ST 8: xxxxxxxxxx
ST 7: Jake "The Snake" Roberts
ST 6: Kerry Von Erich
ST 5: Ric Flair
ST 4: Shawn Michaels
ST 3: Elite Jobbers, Cruiserweights
ST 2: Jobbers
ST 1: Managers
ST 0: Valets

POWER LEVELS:
PL 12: Tippy-Top Main Eventers
PL 11: Lesser Main Eventers
PL 10: Upper-Midcarders
PL 9: Upper-Midcarders
PL 8: Midcarders, Tag Team Specialists
PL 7: Tag Team Specialists (Solo)
PL 6: Jobbers To The Stars
PL 5: Elite Jobbers
PL 4: Jobbers
PL 3: Managers
PL 2: Tougher Valets
PL 1: Valets

* This is the basic moveset for a pro wrestler- pretty much everyone will have AT LEAST this. Non-Jobbers will have a Healing option. Afflictions are based off of the wrestler's Strength.

"Moveset"
"Slams" Strength-Damage +2 (Inaccurate -1) Linked to Affliction 5 (Toughness; Vulnerable/Prone) (Flaws: Limited Degree) (Inaccurate -1) (3) -- [6]
  • AE: "Attack Downed Foe" Strength-Damage +2 (Flaws: Side-Effect 3, Limited to Prone Opponents) (Inaccurate -1) Linked to Affliction 5 (Toughness; Vulnerable/Prone) (Extras: Cumulative) (Flaws: Limited Degree, Limited to Prone Opponents) (Inaccurate -1) (2)
  • AE: "Pinfall" Affliction 4 (Strength + Toughness; Vulnerable/Prone/Pinned) (Flaws: Extra Check Allowed) (2)
  • AE: "Heelish Cheating" Affliction 3 (Fort; Dazed & Vulnerable/Stunned) (Extras: Extra Condition, Linked to Damage) (Flaws: Limited Degree, Illegal Maneuver) (2)
Descriptions of Moves:
Slams: Slams do more damage than unarmed damage, and add Affliction to it, rendering foes Vulnerable & Prone. Slams are Inaccurate. Larger wrestlers have Immunity to Slams from foes of certain Strength.
Strikes: Strikes are standard Strength-Damage. Typically they are Distracting- missing them leaves a wrestler vulnerable to counter-attack.
Pinfall: A low-level Affliction- "4" across the board for every wrestler, no matter what. If you pin an opponent for two consecutive rounds, you win the match. It has an extra Flaw- it is resisted by both the opponent's Strength AND their remaining Toughness! This means you have to pummel them through most of the match to win.
Heelish Cheating: Linked to Damage, this is an Affliction that leaves opponents Dazed & Vulnerable, then Stunned. Its unique flaw is that it's "Illegal"- it must be done out of sight of the referee, or you get warnings or disqualified.
Babyface Comeback: Presence-Dependent Healing, Limited to Self. Only available to babyfaces, or those who don't cheat much during the course of the match.
Second Wind: Vince McMahon would often declare "SEE-SAW match-up; back and forth!". This is because wrestlers will usually heal from damage during the course of a bout- simple Regeneration. Not available to Jobbers.
Attack Downed Foe: Legdrops, elbowdrops and the like- they keep an opponent downed (similar Affliction to the "Slam" moves, but Cumulative), hurt them as well, but carry a Side-Effect- if you miss, you take the damage. Naturally, Limited to Prone Opponents.
Submission Moves: Affliction based off of a foe's remaining Toughness- the third degree is Submitting. Potentially match-ending, but usually rare and at lower levels- you must wear down your opponent first.
