As I was playing around with a Gadgeteer type build, I came across an idea and was curious what others thought of it ...
Typically I like to leave most of my builds with an option to Feint or Trick in combat, typically through either Deception itself, Acrobatic Feint or Startle. However, is it too much of a stretch for a character to use their Technology skill to Feint & Trick for a 1 point feature similar to Acrobatic Feint or Startle?
My idea being, mechanically, if Gadget Guy feints using technology, the fiction is him using a smoke pellet, a holographic mirror image, or something similar that gives him an opening against his target.
Thoughts, opinions?
An alternate idea Feint & Trick ...
Re: An alternate idea Feint & Trick ...
I would be okay with that as a GM. Pretty hard to argue against skill-substitution advantages like that given the ones that already exist.

I think it's an excellent idea.
