Not sure if I have a "favorite", but I'm a huge fan of bad or campy slasher films. Examples later Friday the 13th movies, (especially Jason X, it's Jason IN SPACE!), the Leprechaun movies, Grizzly Park, etc.

personal favorite to this day remains Spaced Invaders. I have yet to see a movie that makes me continuously LOL to the point where I have to pause it so my side stops hurting.

Why?

1: FLASH! AH AH!!

2: DIIIIIVE!

3: Star filled supporting cast, each hamming it up more than the last.

I loved Timothy Dalton's Prince. His Performance was hammy enough to be memorable, but toned with just the right amount of Royal Douchbaggery.I especially loved the "Grab-A-Snake" trial.

But Flash Gordon isn't a bad movie...

As I said, there's a certain amount of subjectivity in quantifying "what is a bad movie".

There's cheesy dialog, not a lot of nuance, the FX were pretty weak.

I think it's fun as hell but from a certain point of view, it's bad.

I'm with you on the Friday the 13th movies, love them, own them all (even the crappy 9th movie!). One of my personal favorites (not part of the F 13th stuff) is Scyfy channel's Ghost Shark.
Oh god, Jason Goes to Hell is SOOOO bad, I loved it! It did fall for that weird 90's thing where they felt the need to explain the source of Jason's "powers." They did the same thing for Freddy Krueger and Michael Meyers that decade too.

Random fact the director for that movie included a scene with the Necronomicon, from the Evil Dead series, and recently confirmed that Jason was in fact a Deadite.

I am definitely going to have to check out Ghost Shark.

If it's not baroque, don't fix it.

"ah....that one had potential"

I actually had sort of an idea for post WWII Defenders of the Earth campaign to sort of set up a JLU like roster of pulp era heroes which I know is on Ares' Christmas list.

And the idea of the Rocketeer complaining to his girlfriend about the Rocket Man serials having ripped him off.

I'd LOVE to play in that game!

I was more thinking along the lines of Doc Savage arguing with The Shadow(or The Spider if i could get away with it) over methodology.
