PALLADIUM STUDIOS(Logo appears, which is just a large mettalic looking P and lowercase S)
Hello, fellow Movie buff! I figured since i started up a "Movie Studio", i'd start dropping in my opinions of the Movie/TV stuff i watched growing up in the 80's and 90's. Here's to the first in a hopefully long series....
BRIEF NOTE: all of these(save for one modern one) are show's and movies from 1983 to 2001, so i'm giving out one big 'ol SPOILER WARNING for the whole lot. You don't wanna find out what happens in a Movie/Television show from "The Regan/Bush elder" years, don't read it. You have been warned....

I have long believed that 1984 may have been one of the biggest years for Hollywood in terms of creativity and cultural touchstones.

You'd honestly be Suprised at how many Good movies were made around the 80's & 90's. True, some of them haven't held up very well, but they were all good movies regardless ....NoOneofConsequence wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 10:25 pm I have long believed that 1984 may have been one of the biggest years for Hollywood in terms of creativity and cultural touchstones.

I saw the bulk of them in theaters, on VHS rental, or on cable back when it was less than 40 channels.

Seriously, you could spend a year just talking about films from '84. Just doing '82 to '87 would be a major undertaking. Going from, say, '79 to '93, you could run a YouTube channel for years just looking at one a week. Sadly, I don't think I could name a dozen good films from 2019 without looking them up.

I honestly think 2019's movie scene got too "Political" and it bleed over to their Movies. The only good one of the lot was La-La Land, but i'm not certain if that was in 2019 at all....NoOneofConsequence wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 3:33 amI saw the bulk of them in theaters, on VHS rental, or on cable back when it was less than 40 channels.![]()
