So, if I'm understanding what I just heard, Ta-Nehisi Coates (someone I already have a few issues with) is going to be writing Captain America. And will apparently be having Captain America side with an ANTIFA stand-in?

ANTIFA claims to be a collection of anti-fascist militant groups, but in practice are a bunch of spoiled college-age kids in masks to wear masks, attend rallies, and cause lots of damage to people and property. The FBI considers them a group of domestic terrorists, but even that gives them too much credit. They are violent, they do incite violence, but again, they're mostly a bunch of dumb kids and the occasional college professor cosplaying as revolutionaries.

But they're still dangerous. One, because they are violent. Two, because they do shit like doxxing people they perceive as their enemies. And three because being "mostly a bunch of dumb kids and the occasional college professor cosplaying as revolutionaries" creates a great place for a few really dangerous types a place to hide out and spread their influence over the dumb kids.

Oh I didn't mean to imply that they weren't dangerous, like I said they've destroyed large amounts of property and hurt people in their riots. Stupid kids in their late teens/early 20s are still capable of a lot of damage. I just can't take their ideology seriously because they're just a bunch of idiots who are violent for violence's sake.

A bunch of noodle-armed pansy Anarcho-Communists who can't throw a punch to save their lives but present themselves as righteous revolutionaries are seldom directly dangerous. The danger is when the media holds them up as actual righteous revolutionaries who can do no wrong, and defending yourself from their pointless witch hunts is by definition fascism.

Modern day Antifaschistische Aktion got its start in Germany and took its name and iconography from anarcho-communist gangs that had clashed with the national socialists before Hitler’s rise to power. One of the first major actions by the modern group was a series of protests (read: riots) in and around Dresden on October 3, 2016. They were “protesting” events meant to celebrate the anniversary of German reunification.

Yeah, that’s right: These entitled red-diaper babies are angry that East Germany no longer exists.

I’m the descendant of a Polish Jew who emigrated to the US in the early 1930s. As far as I’ve been able to figure out — and I’ve done some serious detective work here — the handful of relations that survived the occupation of National Socialists during WWII were all killed by the occupying International Socialists after WWII.

As far as I’m concerned “Antifa” is just a mispelling of “Nazi.”

If you look really closely, they very closely resemble the Communist terrorists that led to the rise of the National Socialist Party in Germany as a "compromise candidate." But then, they also strongly resemble what the National Socialists eventually revealed themselves to be.

There's a reason Nazis and Communists fought each other for the minds of collectivists. They're absurdly similar.

The Stalin-types were international socialists, who believed the whole world would spontaneously decide to allow them to rule the planet... But the spontaneous uprising didn’t happen, so they engineered a bunch of coups, guerrilla revolutiona, and terror cells to make it happen.

The Hitler-types were national socialists, who didn’t believe the whole world would spontaneously decide to allow them to rule the planet... So they invaded it.

The entire Eastern Front was basically two close cousins arguing if the music on the radio should be l'internationale or deutschland über alles as they drove down the road to serfdom.

Intresting historical note(just because i'm wierd like this):before Adolph joined up,the original Nazi party not only was made up of over 80% jews, they were also non-violent and humanitarian......

Unlike the ANTIFA jerkwads, who're anti-goverment just to be anti-goverment and are using it as an excuse to beat up people who don't agree with them....

Antifaschistische Aktion isn't anti-government, they’re just anti-representative republican government.

If you can compare a small-government movement that tidies up after its polite, inoffensive rallies to a group that uses anonymous violence and vandalism to promote anarchy in service of authoritarian uber-government takeover... I guess?

Okay, this is probably a good point to end the discussion before we get all flame war-y. Allow me to rebut with a meme.

The best way to explain the difference between the Tea Party and Antifa is that the Tea Party had some issues with deceptive practices by the government and elected officials in both major parties were encroaching on our Constitutionally guaranteed rights and peacefully advocated for reforms aimed at limiting government's control of business and daily life. There were some nutjobs in there that focused on some weird things and got disproportionate media coverage, but the actual focus was on getting some real limited-government people on the ballot and then in office. It's a very pro-USA viewpoint, if a desire to return to the government of an America many decades gone.

Antifa wants to burn down the USA and replace it with USSR 2.0, because what all those other Marxist revolutions lacked was enough gangly hipsters, condescension, and slogans. And obviously they had insufficient drive to call everyone a fascist for not being a communist. Antifa has tons of all that.
