Prayers and condolences to you and your family, Ghost.
And yes, MacynSnow, should be an entertaining dynamic in our party.

I certainly hope so. That's part of the reason I picked the group I did. I see some interesting dynamics. A monk with no social skills, a haughty elf, a conniving wizard, a drunken panda, a gruff dwarf and apparently the shokan-goliath equivalent of an anime character should make for comedy gold!Supernaturalist wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 3:37 pm

Did Berend tell people what they were making with his 'job'? If so, what?

Let's say 25 gp each. I'll say that's 2 Wealth ranks in this Wealth system beta.Flynnarrel wrote: ↑Mon Aug 27, 2018 7:27 am Did Berend tell people what they were making with his 'job'? If so, what?

You know what? F the beta. We're going old school monetary system, GP based. I'm making this too difficult. My head hurts trying to do this conversion stuff.Thorpocalypse wrote: ↑Mon Aug 27, 2018 12:57 pmLet's say 25 gp each. Good old simple 10's system. 10 copper is a silver, 10 silver is a gold, 10 gold is a platinum. That's it. Everyone starts with 10 gp unless you can give me a great reason why you would have more. Or in the case of someone like Bear, who would have none to start, I would give them some reward down the line to even it out.
Prices will be set shortly, but in general, assume the D&D 5E equipment costs apply for now and if there's something that's not in there, or if you don't have the D&D books, let me know and we'll figure it out.
Since it looks like we have a quorum for the guard work, even if we don't have the rates settled yet, I will be putting up a post later to move things along and get you on the road soon so Goreclaw can...I mean, we may, maybe, possibly, have an encounter.

Yeah, not sure why Berend is resisting getting paid extra.Reason For Adventuring:Berend originally set out from Thunderhold many years ago to do some good with the skills he was taught. The years however, have not been kind to Talnoth. And now, while he still do good in the world(though he's lost a lot of his faith in People),he intends to set aside a "Nest Egg" and Retire wealthy...

Because with both Darrax and Iredell paying for the Operation,it's almost triple what Wheelwright's offering. It also build's A good contact for The Well-Informed Advantage...Flynnarrel wrote: ↑Mon Aug 27, 2018 11:29 pmYeah, not sure why Berend is resisting getting paid extra.Reason For Adventuring:Berend originally set out from Thunderhold many years ago to do some good with the skills he was taught. The years however, have not been kind to Talnoth. And now, while he still do good in the world(though he's lost a lot of his faith in People),he intends to set aside a "Nest Egg" and Retire wealthy...

Re: Gloriant: Age of Adventure (OOC Thread)
Would you rather get paid 25 gold pieces for a job or 30?

Re: Gloriant: Age of Adventure (OOC Thread)
Your forgetting the Bounties that are obviously gonna be on all the bandit's heads,so 5 gp ain't that much to lose for a long-term Contact.Especially a Travelling Merchant in the area. But i see your point,as well. Berend won't take the money,as he'd consider it an Investment for his Spy Network...Flynnarrel wrote: ↑Tue Aug 28, 2018 12:26 am Would you rather get paid 25 gold pieces for a job or 30?

Hi everybody! Checking in for my "guest starring" gig!
Though that may be the most words Lena ever speaks in a single post...
Glad to be here, for a bit, just to make sure you all get murdered by bandits.
No, wait- to make sure you DON'T get murdered by bandits. That sounds better.
