Ector Blagettal
HP: 11/11
After everybody has a chance to rest he arranges the spoils on the floor, setting the mace beside the small blanket with the smaller items, to this he'd added the items he'd found earlier.
Loot wrote:- 10 GP
- 50 SP
- holy symbol of Maglubiyet (worth 5gp)
- 2 azurite, 1 agate, and 1 malachite (each worth 10gp)
- Ornate ceremonial dagger he was waving around (worth 15gp)
- Small gold bracelet (worth 25gp)
Recette looks at your spoils with an appraising eye you would not have expected from a girl her age. She seems to be doing math under her breath. "I think there's more stuff in those chests over there. I know Gravak used one of them to store his personal coin. When we get back to the village I can exchange some of these other items for coin if you like, Tear and I run a shop for adventuring gear and supplies."
Tear chuckles. "Its a long story. The short version is Recette's Father took a sizable loan from Golden Scales Banking and Currency Exchange to renovate the family home into a shop, then suddenly left to 'go adventuring' and never came back. It is not a small debt, so while the Bank has other agents trying to determine his whereabouts, I was sent to inspect the family home/business that was used as collateral. When I found that repossessing the house would leave Recette homeless I worked out an alternative solution to pay back the debt."
Recette smiled. "So she helped me open the shop as it was intended. We've been working together ever since. If you ever need to buy any adventuring stuff I'll definitely give you the Favored Customer discount."

The sealed scroll case he passed to Sariel,
"Maybe you can be reading this?"
When the seal is cracked and the tube opened the scroll inside is revealed to a a letter from Gravak to someone referred GlassStaff.
In crude hand-writing it says:
GlassStaff
By now you know one of our joint attacks on caravans was a failure. It was better guarded than expected, we both lost a bunch of fodder.
I'm sure you're not happy about this, just like Darax isn't going to be happy about this, and I sure as the abyss am not happy about this.
We might need to scale back the joint operations for a bit. Darax is close to bullying enough goblin tribes into joining the wyrmling's 'Howling Horde' to make a big move but until he does he's stretched thin. Without Noak to scare the runts, everything could fall apart.
Speaking of Noak, the damned winged lizard has me wasting time defiling this old tomb, melted a couple of the runts when she heard about the place. So to keep her happy Darax sent me one of the few of the shaman's trainees that didn't leave with him and a ritual of defilement. The idjit is dumb as a sack of dirt but even he shouldn't be able to screw this up. Unfortunately this means that rather than I can't send you the human girl our scouts captured. She meets the description you gave me for the kind of subject you need for your magical tests and such but we need innocent blood for the ritual. Blame the tiny temper tantrum dragon.
Despite the setbacks, I'm sure we all want to keep this business arrangement between the Horde and your Redbrands going strong. So to make up for things I'll be sending you the little fairy we caught the same time as the girl. I'm sure you'll find a use for her in your experiments. Within the month all of this should pay off big time for all of us.
-Gravak

"Is riddle," He says, his scarred face twisting into a big toothy smile,
"Thing that you give so you can keep it is your, uh... promise, word... Ah, oath."
"Am thinking is important with these people. They carved oath in wall. Ector saw it when he was finding Tear," He crosses his arms and stares up at the statue admiring the stonework.
The moment that Ector says the word "Oath" you could swear that the eyes of the statue glowed for a second. You all just barely hear a ghostly echo, as though someone was whispering softly in your ear from behind. "
I, Sextus Varius, swear the Delian Oath. To serve Law, battle chaos, and strive to keep the secrets of the Delian lore."
Suddenly the whisper is drowned out by sound of stone grinding on stone that fills the room.To the left side of the Statue a section of wall slowly swings back, sending a cloud of dust billowing out and revealing a hidden entrance to another room.
