During all of this,however,the family dwelling in here hasn't open the door ounce...

Serina gestures that Nevin is free to read the message to the others.

Serina frowns, she goes up to the door or wall concealing the family. After a moment's consideration she knocks. "I am a Tevinter Altus, Lady Serina Valonsark. I and my... associates have slain the cultists out here. We can direct you, possibly even escort you to safety. Cultists may attack again. And your cooperation is vital in determining why you have been targeted. Please come out, or at least answer." She gives it a thought, "Assuming you all still have tongues of course."

If successful and you allow a stunt I'd love the Makes Me Wonder for a Perception test to figure out something else about this situation.

Even as she asks she looks back to the room and mimes a key going in to the lock in silence askance if anyone there can open a lock.

While considering the implications of the revealed message, Nevin followed along behind the older mage. "If... if you're hurt at all, I can help. I've already helped save the life of another of their victims today, please don't be afraid."

Serina waved off the elf's attentions. "No, I'm not hurt. I... oh! you mean the family... Uh yes..." Serina speaks louder. "Yes, this Laetan can heal you if you require."

STORYTELLER:
nothing of intrest on the mage besides his Staff,which just has a similar design as the Dagger's.And they were getting out of the way of the Mage so he could blast it open.And yes,any time you stunt,you may use the points(but it really doesn't matter if you fail...)

The screaming for help stops and you can hear a small conversation going on briefly before the door opens, revealing a rather plain looking couple with Very bushy brown hair(Serina would note idley just how hard it would be to tame it).As they head out slowly (Gianni could easily tell they weren't taking chances),with the woman thanking the Maker you arrived in time,you all notice the small bushy brown head of a Young girl somewhere between her 8-10th summer(It can be difficult to tell sometimes with Ferelden children).
What's strange is that she doesn't come out slowly like her parents did,but practically stomped out.Giving the house a critical ounce-over,the child look's at Serina and practically demands(for a child,that is)
"I'm Tessa,so thank you for saving us.Now why is my house all bloody for?!.."

"One of them, ah... Made himself explode." He commented, his face a little green. Shaking his head, he knelt down closer to eye level with the girl. "Hey... Are you alright? None of those men out there tried to hurt you, did they?"

"Complete waste of life and blood." Serina mutters darkly.

"But you," she says speaking up so the girl and her family can hear, "you will not be as wasteful when you become a mage. For that's what you are, Young One. And very likely the boy we rescued earlier." Serina remarks to the nearby elf. "But yes, Youngling, I don't know how but these cultists deduced your potential. They'll come for you again. That's the bad news. The good news is that if you study hard and don't close your mind to the possibilities of the world, and don't get consumed by demons, you can have a much better life for you and your family."

Serina looks up to the girl's parents. "The cultists may not stop hunting you. Can you afford to relocate to Tevinter? If so I can provide you a letter of introduction to my estates who will be able to extend patronage to one of the schools." Serina offers.

Gianni deftly dodged behind the door as the cultist exploded, not even getting a piece of body on him


With exploding bodies and dead cultists, Gianni didn't seem too bothered, but he shook his head when Veth kills the cultists.

"Next time, let the watch deal with them. Leaving a trail of bodies get the wrong people curious."

Serina looks up to the girl's parents. "The cultists may not stop hunting you. Can you afford to relocate to Tevinter? If so I can provide you a letter of introduction to my estates who will be able to extend patronage to one of the schools." Serina offers.

Behind Serina, Gianni shook his head at her suggestion, but did so that the family could see him do so.

"Elf," he calls to Nevin, "anything useful in those notes?" There isn't any sign of disgust or hatred towards Nevin, but Gianni sounds a little dismissive. Whether its for his race or his abilities, it is not clear.


When Serina has finished talking to the family, Gianni draws close and whispers in her ear.

"Next time you need somebody for that type of work, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve."

"Noted, that's why I wanted rope." answers Velth. "But let me remind you that Brandon and his men are as far from the city watch as we are. Better not leave loose ends as well." He sheaths his bloody sword, and corses his arms around his chest. "Very well, we know the address of the cultists now, and with the complete letter, we know where to strike I guess. Should we meet with Brandon first, or should we trust in our good luck so far and storm the place?"

The longer he read the more, the more it made sense. While he choose to say nothing in the presence of the family, it was clear to any who looked that he had something to share. "Can your family make it to the constabulary? I don't know how certain we could be that you'd be safe here tonight..."

The husband quickly usher's the family out of the house,much to the protests of Tessa.The last image you briefly see through the fog is Spell whisp obediently following it's little master...

He draws his hood over his head with his right hand, while grasping the note in his left. It perplexed him still how the mistress was confused at first with the way he favkred it durring penmanship lessons, but those lessons we're essential to understand what he now held.

Ash had enough of this long and rather tiresome night. Worse still to see and listen to these fools prattle on and on...

"No! They can wait until the end of the world for all i care! We need food and rest. If these Baranti are so concerned with doing the city's guard work, then by all means allow us the concession of available lodgings before we can carry on with said tasks."
