Technically he IS wearing a form of pants called....I'm wanting to say Stirnips.They were Very Popular during the Greko-Roman era with people doing physically demanding Jobs(Day laborer's, Freed Gladiators, Hunters&Trappers, etc.),the exception being the Legion as they weren't allowed to mess around with their Uniforms AT ALL. It was popular due to the supposed 'ease of movement', as early versions of pants GREATLY restricted the blood flow to your nether reaches...This tidbit of Wierd today is brought to you by the letter Y?
