Blast, it's too slow to load on my ohone. Thanks for posting it anyway though. Can I get to Replica in two moves, or do I need a check?
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

In the traditional words of a D&D session, Titaness doesn't notice any traps.
No, really, we should be in the homestretch now.

....Was it ever actually established that we have communication links? We'rr just a bunch of kids not even in a formal super team, but at some point it started creeping into posts that we did.

I think I established that you guys got them along with "outfits that don't suffer clothing damage unless dramatic" but I might not have been clear there.Doctor Malsyn wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 10:48 pm ....Was it ever actually established that we have communication links? My perspective is that, unless explicitly enforced, people will cross-talk.

Just so everyone is clear, when I use the <<>> around Hope's dialogue, she is using her powers to "speak", which is why I make a clear notation when she is "speaking" into the comm.
She does try to move her mouth in sync with her powers when talking to people because it's kind of unsettling otherwise, but it always kind of comes off as you would expect lip-syncing to look, even if she has had a lot of practice at it.

I'm sure I knew that at one point, but somehow I forgot it at that exact moment... Whoops.

Not to worry. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew why I was notating her dialogue that way, so if OTHER people use the same notation, they know it doesn't necessarily mean the same thing. It's really just flavor elements.

^_^ I remember some people on the old boards trying to create standards for speech, i.e. "Regular speech is in double-quotes. Thoughts are in italics. Telepathic speech is in <angle brackets>. Typed speech is in a code block", etc.
The only pattern that tended to grind my gears was people not distinguishing their speech from descriptive text, or only using colors or bolding, so you got things like.

Captain Magnificient flies into the building. What's the problem, citizens? He's lifting the slab. I am here to save the day!

Sorry for the fairly brief responses. I'm getting pressed into cleaning duty at home. Will attempt to reply later today.
