I could have Dave go off reccord and port over, look around while keeping a low profile.
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

S'all good. Cat's already mentioned she wants to get over to where Buzz mentioned. Her clue detection might kick in and and find us something to point us off in the right direction.

I once read a suggestion that Villains should be using Fascinate skill with Performance(Oration) to let them finish a monologue uninterrupted.

My assumption is that when T-man requested Perception checks, the two flyers were off flying so any conversation after that happened while they were failing their Perception checks.

And I will avoid getting on my soapbox about metagaming. Suffice to say, I hate it.

I don't personally like metagaming either, but i understand where some people get it from. That's why i originally asked 'bout the Perception check...

It never hurts to ask, after all. :D

In what context,Rl or metagaming? I use that for both(if i ever find myself occasionally metagaming ).

In both actually. It CAN hurt to ask. You could lose respect of the people you are asking.

Its the same attitude as people who think "it's better to ask forgiveness than permission." They tend to freak out and cry foul when they aren't given a chance to ask forgiveness, like it's not their fault they broke the rules and are being punished for it.

Ken, Macyn, if this in-depth conversation is going to continue, may I ask it be moved to a different thread? I can foresee it filling pages with back and forth philosophic repartee. As an awesome a conversation as it can be, it doesn't quite fit in Team Cerebus (OOC).
