Team Cerberus (OOC)
Re: Team Cerberus (OOC)
Like i said above,Geotek's and Red Death's ideas on 'Justice' and the nature of Heroism makes for an intresting sub-plot.
While Alex would hold out that Medea's death would save countless future Victims' lives in the future(his "Ends Justify The Means'" approach to what he does), Nathan would assert that if they let her die,it'd make them no better than her....
It's a really intresting sub-plot to explore.

Re: Team Cerberus (OOC)
For the same reason it didn't dissolve when Medea was knocked out, the same holds true for them not dissolving with her leaving. Granted, once combat is over, you typically have plenty of time to make the necessary save, but the time and effort still have to happen, y'know?
Re: Team Cerberus (OOC)
Yeah well if anybody else asked him about why he did it, Nathan might offer up some sort if explanation. But Red Death asked, so it's "FU. I'll do it again."
To be truthful, he isn't sure why he did it. This is his first combat scenario when he has his own thoughts.
Before Medea's injury, my plan was for him to think "Good I am drawing their fire so that... EFF THAT!" Then do what Rave did and vanish, shooting and moving from the air.

Cat might have had something to say, but she didn't actually see what happened, either Dave's attack, or Nathan tending the wound.

Ah,but what would she've said if she DID see it?EpicEclipse wrote: ↑Mon Sep 17, 2018 5:39 am Cat might have had something to say, but she didn't actually see what happened, either Dave's attack, or Nathan tending the wound.

Dave, Internally: "...I've never read shake-sphere you pretentious asshole."
Still though, while he's never going to bring it up, he's glad that Geotek saved her when she did. He's... not sure how he'd handle himself if he failed his mission to change so freshly our of the gate.

Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

So is Geotek going to leave poor Buzzbomb hanging on the attempted fist-bump?
Or did it just get missed?

Re: Team Cerberus (OOC)
Totally missed it, I'll fix that.

Re: Team Cerberus (OOC)
It's a shame BG isn't around, her character would have added an interesting dynamic to this.
Also, Nathan did flip off On I, so it's not technically no response.

Enlighten me about the differences, since I'm not a native speaker I might have missed out subtleties

Flip off, give the bird or middle finger; it's a very rude gesture.

Re: Team Cerberus (OOC)
He lifted his arm towards Oni with his hand in a fist and only his middle finger extended. It's a pretty blatant motion, even if Oni doesn't actually understand it's significance.
The origin of the gesture dates back to the BC era, but being known in its present meaning as "flipping the bird" is only as far back as the 60s from what I see. So it would make perfect sense if Oni didn't understand significance of the gesture itself, which as Kenseido says, is very rude.

Ah ok, then I would have Oni not understanding it, otherwise he would attack geotek
