Good question, what would it take to sneak pistols on? Is there a separate luggage compartment (presumably where long arms such as rifles are)?

But yes, Nadia can have something small, like a holdout pistol.

The Shepard is designed with the use anything as a weapon ability.

Some quick run by answers:

Rather than redrawing the map (which would have been pretty hideous), used the one in the book.
The end marked as PCs is closer to the end of the train. The car behind them is the secured one.
The raiders are not on the train yet, but that is the front of the train. The doctor went into the cabin ahead of them.
The guard was shot through a window.

You don't have to worry about the bullet with your name on it. The ones marked occupant do just as well.

Here is the question from ZenGypsy which I was also gonna ask:

Question, which exit did the good doctor use while exiting the car? The one closest us, or the raiders? I am assuming the Alliance guards were stationed at the far end of the car, which means the restricted access car is in that direction? Which direction is the engine in, and the direction of our travel? Sorry just want to establish the scene in my head. Heh!

Saw that but I thought that was answered before his question seeking more clarification. Some of those questions answered would also help me to picture this better.
