When Wally was assured that people were gathered he pauses.

"One last thing though..." he whispers to his companions

Wally concentrates. Hand going to his mouth....

"Oh God! No!..."

"It's got me.... AHHHH!!!!"

"Abort! Abort! save your... urk.....!"

"Oh, Jezuz.... RUN!"

Multiple sounds of dire distress come from seemingly random places in the fog.
[Communication to 'throw his voice through to random spots, deception to make it seem like the men are being picked off... and they should run away, likely soiling themselves..... Deception: 1D20+12 = [19]+12 = 31

booyah beeches!]

Wally then created a portal to school and made a grand 'After you' gesture that probably hits someone by accident.
[Surge to Create an extended portal....]
Wally staggers through to the infirmary. The swimming world of vertigo never looked so good.

She stood a little dumbfounded by the odd display, but figured it was best to let whatever that was play out. There was shift in the cloud which brought in the familiar scent of the manor's infirmary, which she had to guess was another of those circle things he could conjure up. She was all willing to start conking a few more heads, but she's probably done enough damage already. This fight wasn't fun anymore, and there were sirens nearby.

Though she didn't exactly look forward to the reprimand they were bound to receive at the school, facing them seemed a whole lot better then facing the police. Those thoughts in mind she followed the scent and walked through their conveniently placed shortcut into the hospitable hospital.

As soon as they`re back and Kevin is able to hand over wounded he turns to Wally.

"Damn, but you`ve got some serious skillz."

Wally slumped in a chair, breathing hard but still trying to look casual.

"Yeah." he agrees, then seems to cast about, unused to this. "I'm... uh... sure if we'da decided to go full bore you'da make right shite-sicles outta those gits." he says. The grimace that follows could be leftover from the vertigo or it could have been him biting back the urge to say more, perhaps less-than-pleasant things.

Still, progress.

Brittney helped the others that couldn't see through the cloud get to safety. Then she followed the others back to the school. All this wouldn't have happened if a few of the others had exercised even a modest amount of self control. Nothing she could do about it now. Soon she would get another reprimand to go in her permanent record.

REDLINE
HP 2, REC 4 COND Exhausted

Once everyone was through the portal Robbie collapsed again onto the floor in sheer exhaustion. "Ima jus' gonna lay here for couple of days..."
As exhausted as he was Robbie could not help but smile. It was the closest he came to sleep in a long time. He didn't feel hyper or overwhelmed by his racing thoughts. But he certainly felt...heavy.

Hall Monitor Boy looked about as knackered as Wally felt. "Well gents and ladies, and aquatic predators, Imma head to bed. but first...." a hand sized portal came into being through which they could see the unconscious form of Gelignite, sleeping off the effects of the gas. Wally reaches through and flicks the large boy's fleshy nose. "Wanker!" he says through the portal at the prone form on a cot in the corner of the infirmary.

He doffs an imaginary hat to his companions and tips sideways off his chair. A portal opens up on the ground he's about to impact and he falls full length onto a rumpled bed through which the others can see a disarray of clothes strewn about and even a half-crushed beer can on the floor. Wally doesn't seem to care as his eyes close with a dreamy smile upon hitting his dormitory bed with a series of bounces and protesting springs.

The portal seems lazy in it's gradual closing....

Powering down, Kevin watches Wally`s departure and smiles despite the gravity of the situation. For all his own powers, that telport portal was impressive. Watching him literally hit the hay, Kevin muttered.

Lucky sod."

He took stock of the situation as it was now, looking for one of those in charge.

"We have wounded - more among the attackers than our side. We`re mostly safe, some pushed themselves to exhaustion or close to it,
but for the most part we are unscathed. The big guy got taken out by gas and as far as I know is unharmed. Same can`t be said for those that we brought in. And their friends are not happy about it, regardless of the fact that we brought them back to help them.

"Finally, police or other law enforcement were on the way when we pulled back."

Kevin ignored possibilities of reprimand or admonishment, he trusted that this was not the time or place.

By this point Ana had become sufficiently dried off, and has such become visible. Traces of blood still surround her mouth, and there are a few specs on her shirt. She listens to Keven lay out all the details, but one thing sticks out as more important to her at this current time. "Hey. Kevin. You can hand that back to me now."

Kevin hand Ana back her sweatshirt, confident that he didn`t quite ruin it.

The last several moments have been pandemonium. Wally using his surprise gift for mimicing voices, or at least close enough to trick people in a fog and cause some panic, more shots and voices trying to figure out what is going on, giving the mutant teens all the time they need before the fog dissipates to get the injured operatives and Gelignite onto Kevin's ice sheet and getting that sheet through one of Wally's portals into the foyer of the manor where the sudden arrival of a large ice sheet with several injured people sends people who had been taking shelter, waiting for more new are now rushing about, trying to figure out what is happening now.

Most of the students pull back, giving space and not wanting to be near the people who had just attacked the school while the teachers and some of the senior students, including Ana's father who was trying to help keep students calm, to check on the injured operatives and Gelignite.

During all this, Professor Xavier rolls out with his wheelchair being pushed by Professor Munroe, making a path towards the returned teens. His expression is guarded, not showing anger, or at the very least, concern is overriding any anger and collects a description of the events from those students who were in a state of mind to provide one.

"Well, this is concerning... the authorities were contacted as soon as the attack occurred, so I would say their arrival is timely, and it appears things could have turned out quite worse... but this still could have been avoided and I hope you all have learned a valuable lesson. For the time being, I need to speak with the authorities and would ask you all keep a low profile unless I call for you, but I think you've been through enough for one day, so try and get some rest, but do please stay on the premises."

With the operatives and your fellow students being cared for and Professor Xavier going to handle the authorities, the five of you are given leave to lay low and get some rest.

Ana decides it'd be for the best to avoid both her father and the infirmary in general at the moment. She didn't want another reminder that she messed up again, after only being in school for such a short time. Another court case could ruin them all over again, and she had a feeling she wouldn't get away with a slap on the wrist like last time if it came down to it.

She absently rubbed her sore gums with her tongue, the ones which had lost teeth in the scuffle as brief as it was from just how hard she bit down on the guy. Her grin will be back to snuff in a day or two as the recovery process went on. Man, one thing she was happy for with the dental side of her mutation was she never really needed to brush ever again, since nothing stuck around long enough to get cavities. Her parents still forced her to use mouthwash though, something about her having bad breath at some point. Whatever.

Her hoodie felt a little weird still, kinda stiff in place from Kevin wearing it up until just recently. Hopefully it wouldn't shrink. This thing was pretty expensive for her. "Hey, Kev." The girl started, not quite looking at him as she still tried to make her outerwear fit comfortably. "Sorry we didn't get to lay that game. I totally would've smoked you though, just saying."

Finally satisfied, she crossed her arms under chest and gave him a partly toothless grin. "Wanna hang out some? Seems we've got some free time."

From the comfort of his own bed Wally watched and listened through mini-portals back to the foyer. (DC 25 Perception to spot them). He saw the Professor's grand announcement and stuck his thumb up, acknowledging the fact that Wally was authorized to do the exact thin he was now doing. He shut the portals, intending to nap. He couldn't help but look across the room at the impeccably made bed and ordered work desk of his bunk mate. The brit had no doubt that were he to open the other guy's dresser it would show a perfectly folded and stacked array of footies, knickers, and shirts, likely color-coded and arranged by day of the week. The other boy was an ultra religious-type, Wally didn't know of what particular religion, or, truth be had, he was only vaguely aware that the other boy's name was Doug..., or was it Dave? Dan? He'd dismissed the boy out of hand when it became apparent that he was a square nutter, no sense a humor and would pray for your soul just as soon as look at you. Wally vaguely recalled that the boy could make something glow. Or he glowed? Whatever it was, it was annoying. He was probably in the school's chapel during the attack. He was probably fine. Wally was too tired to give two shakes at the moment. He rolled over and took a nap.

An hour before dinner...
**************************************************************************************************

He didn't want to do this, but he'd said he would, and no one would respect a guy who didn't back up his word. He assured himself that probably no one would show up and he'd just skew off in search of a pint. Of all bloody annoyances, he was actually a bit nervous, he even took the stairs to the roof to try to tamp down the gut rumblings. No one'll even be there. he assured himself. No one will even remember your stupid rant on the roof during the attack. he thought. He checked his phone, lucky that the attack took place during study hall when he wasn't permitted to have it on him... otherwise it'd have been fried with all the other electronics during the red light show. and Wally couldn't really afford to replace it. It was two minutes after when he said he'd show up. That galvanized him.

"Right then." he muttered to himself. "Les see 'bout this."

He opens the roof access door and steps out looking to see who, if anyone, was there......

A figure came into view. Robbie was squatting down in a variation of a Mālāsana pose. Unlike the normal yoga stance, his heels were well off the ground and instead of a relaxed prayer position, the kid was kind of "bouncing" up and down. When he sees Wally he "bounces" to a standing position. "You're late!"

Robbie would have arrived to see Professor Braddock, the history teacher, waiting on the roof for anyone who arrived for Wally's suggested martial arts class. Robbie, as usual, was the first student to arrive, but was followed by a few other students, including the girl Wally bodied through the portal at the onset of the attack. Gelignite didn't show despite it seeming likely that he would, whether he's in deeper trouble for blasting that van or brooding over being gassed unconscious, who knows.

Turns out Profession Xavier caught wind of Wally's planned self defense class, incidentally by a professor that could control the wind, seeing as Wally made his grand declaration about it on the roof in front of Professor Munroe. Professor Xavier, rather than blocking something like this, felt it would be better served by providing a professor would some knowledge in the area. It was after all something at least one student had interest in by declaring that he would teach others, despite having no formal education in the subject matter or teaching credentials, but Professor Xavier has always encouraged and supported student interests where reasonable and viable. This happened to be an interest he could support with a professor to teach the students who wished to participate.

"Nice of you to remember your own set appointment mister Iverson." Professor Braddock looks at the assembled students. "We'll give it a few more minutes just in case anyone else shows up, then we'll move to a more appropriate venue for this kind of class."
That's just in case Ana, Kevin and Brittney are interested. They may have heard through word of mouth about Wally's self defense training from some of the other students in the afternoon or at dinner. They do not HAVE to attend, since we're in some downtime before the main plot kicks up again, we can split the party doing their own things.

Otherwise, including Wally and Robbie, there are about 7 students and Professor Braddock on the roof and won't be more unless Ana, Kevin or Brittney arrive and they'll head down off the roof to the same space they normally use for physical education, outside, but now with some mats laid out
