Yeah, I'm commissioning a second one from the same artist that will be much more dynamic, and become my default pic. This was to really nail the design. Really is one of my favorite concepts...

I find it a bit tedious to post a portrait in every post but I'll be adding them in to my character thread linked in my signature soon.

I really lucked out...I found an artist on reddit who is a student in Vietnam going in to art school for video game character design. He was at that sweet spot of talent and affordability. He found the intricate wings to be a real challenge but also that struggle helped him improve his skills, plus my US dollars were worth more to him over there so it was a big win all around!

With such a specific design I knew I'd have to go custom. Cool to see how really cool 3 pairs of wings look. :)

Initiative: 1D20+5 = [11]+5 = 16

Also, did Maverick see anything odd about the light? I don't figure he would be able to figure anything about it on a technical level, but with analytical sense he should able to tell if it's some kind of strange wavelength of light or if there's more than light there.

We've already rolled for it but in the future maybe Block Initiative will help speed us along better?

Yeah...this game is incredibly slow-paced for posting rate, but that has been the case apparently from even before I joined in.

Sorry guys. I'm an even worse poster than Bladewind these days. He's the gamer in the family, this is interesting to me (if that makes sense...).
When he reminds me, I post.

He reminded me today. Kind of glad too... nice roll on my part !

Meaning you do it more out of curiosity and to connect with him than a deeper long-lasting passion? I've known more than a few such "casual partners" over the years.
