IC-3 relays a short-burst transmission of the information to Rand's in-helmet display [mental link].

It buzzes slightly for the benefit of it's fellows in the vent.

Words display across the display ports of it's 'eyes'.

TACTICAL ASSESSMENT: DIRECT CONFLICT NOT RECOMMENDED.

The tiny Pokemon is (literally) out of its element in the ducts. It looks around hopefully. Following the lead of the others, it focuses on the red-skinned female.

It decides to scurry around and investigate the other side of the big room, where barricades seem to be in place.

The critters and bots find themselves blocked.

They can get all the way around the casino through the vents, but the far side where there are doors all have blocked vents. Observing the casino floor doesn't reveal much other than the occasional transaction as noted earlier, which seem to be checked and verified by the oriental woman and her companions.

The red skinned woman with the head tails appears to enjoy the festivities more openly than the others. She accepts drinks and laughs more freely. In short order, only she and the oriental woman remain together, the others moving off at their direction. A door on the far side of the hall opens, and a green skinned male exists, accompanied by a shorter form wearing a hooded cloak. By the way the newest arrival walks, the odds are that a woman wears the cloak.

The newcomer stops, and although the hood remains in place, "she" looks up. Her face is cast in the shadow of the hood, but Sherlock feels as if she's looking right into his soul.

"Leave. Not Safe." A voice speaks directly into the treecat's mind. Not a voice. A familiar voice.

The critters relay what they can, interpreting the casino scene in terms they understand. The droid's relay to Rand is perhaps the most useful at the moment. A clear image of Kar'Anna was relayed several seconds ago. She is apparently acting of her own will, and is neither guarded nor restrained in any apparent way.

Any of the critters with infravision (including the Droid and Sherlock) able to scan will not notice any odd heat signatures on her person.

Upstairs, a round of drinks are delivered to your table. Courtesy once again of the Oriental woman at the bar. She knocks back another shot, gets up and walks in a very straight line given the amount of alcohol she must have consumed. Dropping a backpack into the both and sitting herself directly opposite Rand, she poured from the bottle that she had delivered.

"So, you guys don't stand out or anything." Her tone and choice of words are a tad condescending, but her posture and body language are anything but. This woman is a trained warrior. She is likely a lethal martial artist, but also accustomed to lead. No, not lead, hunt.

"New in the area? I recognize the armor, but not the rest of you."

In the meantime, Giovanni exits from the lower levels and takes his leave.
