No big. I have the character saved in hero lab. So if any further tinkering needs to be done, it won't be a problem. I figured Lindsey would be at best a beginning mage, or somebody who dabbles instead of seriously practicing. So I chose basic spells that every mage would know in some form or fashion, tailored to his particular quirks.

Aura for damage is a +3/rank extra, not a +1. So Aura Damage 5 would cost 20 points.Fire Sword: Damage 5 (Alternate; DC 20; Aura: Fire; Quirk: Requires Bladed Weapon)

I'll double check, but according to hero lab it works...
Ah it's not the same as an energy aura generated by a person or being. It's just an extra descriptor that can do additional damage to a thing vulnerable to fire and allow additional powerstunts applicable to the descriptor. It's in the gadget guide. It's a bit like dousing a blade in gasoline and lighting it on fire vs The Human Torche's Flame-On ability. Two totally different things.

LoL. I just couldn't resist that last bit. All day I had this image of the guys fighting and the floor just giving way under them.
With Bladewind's help, we crafted a new complication that takes the place of the wanted complication:
FORCE ENIGMA. Neither Dark nor light, and not even Gray. Amy registers as Force Sensitive to those with those sensitivities. And just as a those that follow the tenets of Light and Dark can succumb to the Dark Side, Amy makes a tempting target for a Dark Sider to sink their machinations into. Using her powers sometimes attracts the presence of Dark Side users, or worse.
