The group further makes its way through the power plant. As they continue on, the green glow around nearly any piece of machinery - some of which looks smashed, the object of willful destruction - intensifies...until they finally reach the main turbine room.

There is dried blood on nearly every surface and the crushed, electrocuted and otherwise mutilated corpses of at least a dozen people in overalls strewn about...

And above it all dance two weird, translucent figures...

Even though it looked like they were responsible for the mess, they could just be innocent creatures, trapped here somehow. "Hello. My name is Aislynn. We're investigating what happened here. These delightful little fellows are called Machine-Wraiths. Basically, they are artifiical ghosts fused with ethereal machinery. On their homeworld, they used to exist under the rule of some sort of dragon-god-thing but it seems that they are either without their master here or simply lost. Either way, they hate life with a passion and can possess all kinds of machinery, imbuing it with malicious intent. Even intelligent machines...

Shit ... Torque run!

Unsure if they would have any effect on the spirits Hannibal follows the spirit ethereal tail to see if they might be connected to any particular machine. . . . Screw the Techpriest, he can fix it. Firing rapidly into the turbines with both pulse pistols.

Nathan was shocked when Hannibal started unloading twin pistols into the very machines they were here to facilitate reactivating. He had to wonder if the vampire hunter had gone crazy or been possessed.

"Hannibal, Man! Da F#ck!?!" he cries over the pulses. When he says something about machine loving Wraiths Long decides to stick with Torque. The robot was his date afterall.

He was grateful for the team`s cover, and readied to turn tail and run if necessary.
