And so, you make your way into the power plant. Inside, things do not look much better. Much of the machinery seems to have broken down...or intentionally sabotaged. If you look more closely, though, you notice a faint green-black glow on some dials and machines like a flickering afterimage...

Agent Long looks on a moment then takes out his cell phone. "GLOWING GREEN SUBSTANCE." He narrates as he types into his phone. "Yes, Google app, I AM feeling lucky." he says cheerily tapping his screen. "Oh look, tv Tropes, 'Sickly Green Glow'." he says.

"Power Glows, but evil power glows green. Most of the time, this glow is closely related to death, as well." Long reads from his screen.

"Hmmm.... would you characterize it as 'Sickly' though? Because there's a separate entry for 'Vibrant Green Glow'." Nathan asks.

Torque gets some really strange readings. The glow seems to be some...self-perpetuating, aberrant kind of electromagnetic emanation. It is,in actuality, not that different from Dark Energon, though dispersed with another sort of radiation that is difficult to identify as it causes minor dimensional fluctuations the longer his sensors linger on it.
Suddenly, everyone hears a hollow wailing sound from deeper within the complex...though interspersed with electronic screeching...
