There is an audible crunch and then a fizzing sound as the weapon is crushed beyond (easy) repair. Still, the creature does not seem very fazed by this...and tries to free itself once more.
A 26 is a success, right?

Yup, as a move action, it still has a standard. It could Punch Long.

While Long's plasticene body may have distributed an impact of the thing's fist, the blade, backed by the thing's cruel strength, bit deep and scored the greyish matter of Long's substance in a massive, gouging rend.
Tough: 1D20+7 = [4]+7 = 11
-1 toughness, stunned 1 round
He doesn't cry out or moan or berate his fate. And the silent shock from the otherwise loquacious agent is more telling of the seriousness of the situation than any plaintive sound could ever be.

Actually, Hannibal's attack seems to at least have knocked the warrior out, given that he slumps down to the ground and remains there...
