He stretches his neck to the end of the corridor, near the ceiling, to peak his head around the corner quickly or otherwise look for danger to the celebrity.... er... um... his team. I mean his team.

Smith casts an angry glare at Hannibal. " You know the Merge doesn't work that way...", he mutters in the tone heard from nearly every writer, director etc. when they explain for the 100th time that they did not really "create" the people who are now stranded in this new universe.

As Torque gets up, there are a few surprised outcries and for a moment, security personnel actually step into his way...but then decide otherwise, given his size. One of them does hectically speak into his phone, however.

Long has barely peeked around the corner when an energy blast singes the wall directly next to him, fired from some sort of wrist-mounted energy weapon attached to the black armor of the figure in the corridor...

"So! Stretch whattaya got for us? Lollipops and rainbows? I bet it's a new flavor-crystal formula. Twice the chocolaty goodness, half the calories. Plus it helps prevent tooth decay. Am I right? Do I win a prize?"
