I think we're thinking along the same track. However, she could point us in the direction of whomever it is. Hence Aislynn's questions about whether or not the woman could identify a person based on their work.

I personally wouldn't touch anything there. No telling what sort of nastiness they could put in it. Just by mistake if nothing else.
But yeah, Chaos girl isn't our target, yet. She is something that should be brought up to the higher ups though. Sounds like she has her fingers in a lot of sticky pies.

Aislynn also asked for a list of slaves and what they're going for. I figure it's a general enough question that the guards wouldn't have a problem answering.

They can't really do anything to free the slaves I think, not without putting them in immediate peril. I assume being eaten by those chaos things is a fate worse than death. About the only thing they can do is record everything and everyone involved and send it to their bosses.
