Flying into the room where the intruders are, totally at a loss to where those who attacked her friend Owl, Nightstar's fury and frustration nearly explode from her. "Show yourselves intruders or fall before a Warrior of Okaara. Cover the exits Guardians. "

Not only her hands but Nightstar's eyes, her very aura starts to expand and pulse with her beating heart. The Guardians have seen Nightstar like this once before ... and the results were explosive.

Alecto watched the half Tamaranian's display of emotion, then decided to have a bit of creepy fun.

Concentrating for a moment, she sets up an illusion of a shadow skulking around the corner, and SOUND like her voice is coming from the corridor behind Nightstar.

"It is times like this I wished I was a Gorgon, for showing myself would be the smartest thing I could do. Not very fun for you though."

May need a Will vs DC19 to figure out what's going on, and you might have a bonus on the roll, thanks to Agent Owl's warning.
Alecto will, of course, keep heading out the OTHER direction.

Myra simply moved in a flow like the tides. Her command of water lifting her up and through the door [on her initiative]

All the back up in the all the seas meant nothing if the base blew up. Owl once again did not share what she was doing. Seriously, if she was going to exempt herself from being part of this team... The aqueous environmentalist flowed toward the armory and the brightening lavender(?)-colored star forming there.... Speaking of explosions....

Nightstar concentrates the solar energy inside her, feeling it build up as she curls like a ball mid air. In what felt like slow motion she stretched out releasing a powerful blast of energy! Everything inside the armoury was blast away with the explosion, sending pieces of concrete and equipment rushing through the door where Starfish stood.
In the aftermath, as dust settles down, the armoury looks like the scene of a terrorist attack, partly ablaze, smoking and with derby all around. On a corner of the room Nightstar sees a sphere of golden light, inside which there is the buddhist monk, mumbling something in a low monotone. He seems unfazed by the explosion. At his side however, lies the now burnt and injured winged woman. Before you can react, the monk finishes his mumbling with a loud "Ohm!" that seems to reverberate through the building, before disappearing in a flash of light alongside his injured companion.

Meanwhile Agent Owl is able to feed the device energy through a complicate contraption. All led lights turn back on. This should keep it stable, ending the impending threat as long as it sustains the energy feed....


OOC: Nightstar used an Explosion 10 effect, the monk and Alecto had to roll a dodge dc 20 and a toughness dc 25/20. Monk rolls 22 and 23 respectively and saves. Alecto is not so lucky, failing the dodge save and then failing toughness by two degrees.
Starfish being farther away in the hallway receives a rush of flying derby, needing a dodge DC 18 for a toughness DC 23/19

Agent Owl finds a workaround for the device, ending the challenge successfully.

Starfish arrives in time to feel the edge of the heat. It sizzles on her aqueous body as she covers her head. She winces as it washes over her arms.

With the rahasyamay gemstone neutralized for the time being Agent Owl ran after her two teammates. She immediately arrives to see Starfish literally steaming; seeing Nightstar's glow dying down and feeling the hot air makes it easy to guess why she was steaming "Is everyone alright?" Agent Owl asks.

After getting a response to the first question Agent Owl speaks again "And where are the intruders?" Agent Owl asks, more calmly than the first time as she looks around cautiously.

Starfish grunts and affirmative and surges further into the room to finally get a glimpse on their quarry.

Now that she wasn't dealing with an imminent bomb or worse now probably was as good a time as any to bring the other two up to speed, "I found those two intruders in the lab when I got here," Agent Owl explains as she cautiously looks around the lab, looking for anything that might be off, aside from the fact that her stored arsenal is now all over the place, "They were after data on the computer in there but I destroyed the flash drive they were transferring it to, you got here just after that."

"Now where did they go?" Agent Owl asked. Did they already escape?

What? Not like she knows what happened with the intruders, and I'd probably roll it anyways to be sure given we have an illusionist among the bunch.

Agent Owl's sharp eyes scan the burnt and half destroyed armoury searching for tiny signals of an illusion in work, but found none. Somehow the intruders seemed to have banished, or blown to dust by Nightstar explosion, for what Owl or Starfish knew.
At that moment Grit runs into the room prior to the armoury, catching his breath. "Nice..." he comments.
