I am traveling for business the next week, so I don't know how much time I will have for posting until May 8.

Not a worry I know everyones busy, a couple of people have work, and one has finals and school so were all good.

I just wanted to make sure everyone knows where were at and can advance at their pace.

I swear I do not intend for these delays to become a regular thing.

And I again apologize to all for them.

No Prob. I fell into one these weird blackout periods that I am forever getting, where I don't get any notifications of new posts and the thread advances, leaving me a page or two behind. Yeesh.

Hmm... kind of stuck for a reason for Colin not to just say Bye and fly off to the base right now.

To be clear, Colin doesn't consider himself a member of the team - he's a substitute. He has no business inviting someone he just met to their base.

Colin also just met her and is down here helping her with a problem. As far as we know, there is no connection between this incident and what the team is working on. Now that he is done helping, its quite natural for him to say "Bye. Keep in touch," and then fly off without her.

Elena did tell him that the team in Hawaii could probably use some help.

Thats a stretch to invite someone for, but if its all I've got, I guess I can try to run with it.

It's at least as good as "We're in the same tavern, might as well hunt monsters together" :D

If it helps I could throw in a 'Thanks, I owe you one.' to give an opening.
