In terms of that, Cognagion is under stress from losing thralls. So, he might not act in the most strategic manner. Ordinarily, he would know the others tend to be on scene early. So, it's possible they are currently on the rig.

The glasses Kaito made have a very short duration, am I correct?

Inventions last for the duration of the scene they are activated and can be reused if a HP is spent. The book recommends a HP to have them on hand for other scenes(not counting the reactivaton hp). So, to reuse the glasses in another scene, by the book its two HP's. I'll just say it's one HP if you can justify always carrying them or prepare to bring them in advance.

Otherwise Kaito could follow the specifications he made... another 4 hours and a technology check to craft them again. It's GM's call whether the whole of the oil rig is '1 scene'.

No, Ferrari jacket guy looked different. The visual model I use is Ewan McGregor from Men Who Stair At Goats. Satan was more like Tom Ellis.

The cameras, will not be able to pierce illusion or invisibility. At most, they will say something looks out of place. Anyone properly using the powers though can work around that. So, a high perception check will be required to even notice something out of place and focusing on the feed.

I'd recommend Kaito have held onto the other pair of glasses. Right now he's maintaining he guise of Roger, and Roger doesn't wear glasses. Plus, Gerald is nearby and might spot something amiss and let him know.

Kaito seemed really invested in the cameras, and Garald isn't going to argue with him about them. Kaito might see this hacker battle as a challenge or matter of honor too. Garald is asking that Kaito be ready to ditch them when need arises, so he is mentally prepared.

For the glasses, Kaito would be the one to hand them out so it is up to Flynnarrel who has them.
