"Specifically the muscles used to pull triggers or wield blades." He nods enthusiastically.

Johnny doesn't seem too impressed, especially with his boys behind him. "You left remember... Just so you could do some french style with Lord Goldbuttons. We don't want you here and we don't want nuffing to do with any business you bringing here. Sling yer 'ook."
The others are spreading out around you. There seems to be less goblins than you remember.

The big orc chuckled. "See now Johnny, that's yer problem mate- is and always was. You talk tough, with your lads all in a row- but you forget that you ain't all that scary, 'cept maybe to goblins and scrawny young girls." He cracked his knuckles, as loud as a pistol shot. While he stood in a confident stance, he seemed relaxed, as if this whole interaction were more boring than threatening...

Whenever there are 'wild animal' attacks and no obvious suspect someone from the government remembers we exist and they send someone around to see if we know anything, just in case. We don't mind. It would just be nice to be remembered the rest of the time. As for information there have been suspicious deaths, not readily discernible as wererats but unusual none-the-less. Kingsland Basin and it's surroundings. It is a rough area besides the Thames. Lot's of shipbuilding and associated businesses. We have incantations in place and a small number of informants to warn us of strange happenings all over London. We have our night crew already out working. They might have some news when they get back."

Johnny Biggo gives you a nervous glance. Will: 1d20+4 12. "Yeah, no need to turn a collie shangles into a batterfang if we don't need to. He might work for a cat lapper. Don't mean he is one. Heh, we was just joking around to see if you still had the sand. Right boys?"
The gang offer mumbled agreements.
"oi, Sally, we're going to go smother a parrot at Rubies. You are coming too. We is going to 'ave a conversation wiv this bricky gentleman."
He heads off.' Rubies 'is a small dark pub off a back street. A few steps lead down to a dark door. There are lights on and the hum of quiet voices. When Biggo and crew swagger in, most of the clientelle quietly finish their drinks and leave. Behind the bar Ruby glowers at the crew. She is a tough looking dwarf, "'allo Johnny, what you want?"
"Ruby, me old Chuckaboo, we would like to smother the parrot and have some food. You can even make bow-wow mutton seem the afternoiniest. A bucket load of mystery bags would go down a treat."
Ruby' s glare softens a little, "you ain't even getting god's wine unless you can show me a golden Bess or two."
Johnny looks at you, "I believe me old mucker here is paying."

"What else do you want to know? The night crew won't be back till morning of course."

Elizabeth nodded. "We can be back in the morning. First thing I might want to know is what are your resources on the open seas? That is to say, do you have the ability to operate on ships? This may be important should the culprits be based elsewhere or should they try to escape."

Hollamby looks a little awkward.."wellll...technically we have the queen's authority to operate wherever we need to.. and arrest whoever we need to. We can go on any ship in English waters but we also need to be frightfully discrete. We struggle to pay the crews as it is. It would just take the stroke of an unhappy benchwarmer who believes we no longer have a purpose and we would be done for. We do however have contacts in lots of places, mainly people we have rescued or who have seen the dark horrors lurking at the edges of our civilisation. If you need to get on a vessel, we can get you on one. If it merits it we can get a bit of muscle to back you up."

Elizabeth said "How about magical assistance? Do you happen to have any ability to work with or use magic? The people we are after may be using magic. We are a new organization so I am not sure about the abilities of my compatriots. It may be useful to have backup of a more magical nature."

Hollamby smiles..."Oh yes, most of our members have some spell use. We could hardly do our job without it. We also have a few devices secured safely for serious troubles."

At that moment a wet and bedraggled young man bursts into the room from a previously unseen door. "We have serious troubles. There's a swamp dragon in the Crown Street collection area. Benson and Pope are trying to keep it there but it isn't happy."


Hollamby quickly rushes to a cabinet in the room, and unlocks it. From here you can't see what he is looking at. He starts grabbing stuff and putting it into a leather satchel that was nearby. He throws some items to others in the room while asking questions..."The Jenkins or the Afreet Bane in case the ghost cap goes off?"
"Definitely the Jenkins...Chlorine Breath."
"Have the Dogboys been told..?"
"To hell with them" shout Fraser, they have always been all hair oil and no socks."
"Fraser, I need you to start preparing the Beulah's Beneficial Balm...This could be a bad one."
Fraser mutters and starts pushing furniture back and clearing some floor space.

Hollamby turns to you..."Right, grab your stuff. We need all the help we can get. A swamp dragon in a populated area, could be worse than the Ucklesford Massacre. We'll help you with the other stuff but we have got to get this sorted first. Follow me."

Elizabeth, suddenly feeling naked without her clockwork armor, said "where and how bad?"

Hollamby looks at Lady Elizabeth and throws her a bad smelling leather cape, "not much protection but better than nothing."

He unlocks a heavy door almost like a safe door. When it opens there is the tingle of magic and the whiff of the London Sewers. He waits while the two of you prepare yourselves. A group of senior ratcatchers have grabbed various weapons and armaments and are waiting for Hollamby to lead on.

Iggy checks the charge level on his arm's reserve and makes sure all his reagents are secured and accessible. He gives a slightly-manic grin and a thumbs up to the nearby rat-catcher.
