Description: (Both Human and Fae)
Human: Not falling with the realms of traditional beauty, but the woman is certainly striking. soCal is known for all kinds, attracting the eccentric and the glamorous. Let’s start with the very basics and work out way out. A towering figure, she’s easily 6’4”, all of it pure slabs of muscle, not shaped into the careful presentation of a fitness model, rather flat out muscle all the way through, the build of a warrior. Deep mahogany skin shows every bit of definition. The clothing, what little of it, clings to her form almost as tightly. Between them, the woman is a piece of artwork. Nearly every inch covered in Aztec inspired scars or jade, obsidian, silver, turquoise piercings- leopards, hummingbirds, skulls, faces. How willing are you to stare at the woman?
Moving further out, we get to the face, hands and feet. The face is surprisingly young, an infectious enthusiasm that can quickly turn to an intense glare. The eyes are dark and engulfing, a shimmer around the edges that changes color as her mood changes. Hair is drawn back and tight, a single ponytail trailing down to her hips, more of the semiprecious gems dancing among it.
Her hands are well calloused, used to hard work, strong fingers ending in dark polish. Even then the dichotomy of the woman shows through, not unusual to see a ghoulish and girly pattern.
Fae:
A figure stepped out of the Aztec warrior display at the museum with the size and build of a troll. Yet there the appearance differs. While at rest, the stone flesh is the deep mahogany color of obsidian, that tone changes with the flow of elemental aspect, slipping through the reflective sheens of blue, golden, fire, and even more rarely a blizzard of small white snowflakes. Etchings constantly flow across the stony exterior, grinning skulls, the flutter of a hummingbirds wings, the challenging snarl of a warrior. There is little concealing the woman, seemingly more for your comfort rather than her own. After all, what do shame or hardship mean to one cast of the elements and stone?
Character Info:
Q: When and where was your character born? Chilpancingo (de los Bravo), Guerrero, Mexico. September 15, 2001 Teoltleco- Return of the Gods
Q: Did your character know about Changeling society growing up, and that he or she might be one?
Yes! Going back to the beginnings of time, her ancestors have been Quinametzin, including her grandfather, her father, all three of her brothers, several cousins. Growing up, it wasn’t unusual to see Duende and less common to see more westernized changelings- the occasional troll, redcap or satyr. She is the first female to follow in the family line.
Q: When and how did your character have their Chrysalis?
On the road, cheering on her father and brothers during a legacy match between the heroic Chan school Yay! and the villainous landgrabbing Hidalgos! Booo!
Q: What is your character's education, both in the human world and Changeling society?
Very little formal human education, growing up on the road, listening to the ancient tales, seeing the need for heroes in the people around her. Changeling history is largely lost as well, a world of companions and competitors, warriors and performers striving to put on a good show. On the other hand, she can talk about the history of wrestling matches, the faces and heels for hours.
Q: Who found and introduced your character to Changeling society?
She has never not known the lifestyle.
Q: What are your character's major goals?
To bring glory and honor to her family name, even if she is ‘only’ a girl! To put on a great show! To inspire the indigenous people of the old empires to take back their honor!
Q: What are your character's major loves and fears?
Loves: Family, wrestling, the cheer of the crowd, the exhilaration of a good match, the shining face of a fan
Hates: a bad show, being told that she can’t do things because she’s a girl
Q: Who is your character connected with (loved ones, enemies, family, etc.)
Father, brothers, cousins, family, the wrestling community, fans- the ‘hated’ Hidalgos
Q: If part of a House but not a Sidhe, how and why did you come to join?
Q: If you have a title, how did you come by it? Was it hereditary, earned, or bestowed?
Q: Do you remember any of your past lives? For that matter, do you HAVE any past lives? Are you Arcadian (returned) or Autumn (on the Changeling Way)?
No
