Angela
HP: 3

Angela touches a hand to her radio communication. "Roger that," she says to Sky Guard.

Rescuing the firemen has stablized her neural network somewhat. This is what she has always wanted to do, always imagined herself doing. Saving lives and making a difference. The thought reassures her. Whatever happens after this, whatever happens with Bryan, there will always be purpose in the world for her, Angela is certain.

The Guardians are under threat. There are forces trying to discredit them. Let them try, because she's here to fight them. She clenches a fist; the silvery mesh of the myomer fibers in her finger muscles gleam in the sunlight.

Angela steps through the portal and walks up to the law enforcement. "Hi," she says, smiling brightly for the first time that morning. "What's up with the suspected lair of evil?"

All

You arrive and see the police have set up roadblocks around the cemetery and several cars are grouped together.

As you approach, you see four officer conferring. One of them stops their conversation and walks over to you.

"There has been any activity since the door closed a few minutes ago. We didn't see anyone do it, so it must have been something mechanical."

You look and see the mausoleum. Scorch marks reveal it to the be one Luna Moth mentioned escaping from.

"The other officers are getting a bit ansy, but now that you're here, you can deal with this."

Tamati "Taheka" Stevens
HP: 3 LP: 1
Condition: Normal

Looking at the closed door Tamati couldn't see any option apart from the direct approach.

"Odds are they know we are out here so why don't we kick the door down and take them down?"

Juno

Juno pouts, disappointed that they won't get to invesitigate a creepy graveyard, and in disgust that SHADOW has desecrated said graveyard for a glorified service exit

Sky Guard
HP: 5
Cnd: Healthy
Favored Environment: Defense Shifted

"Thank you for the backup officers. Remain vigilant in the event any get past us."

Sky Guard chimed in after they had checked in with the police, and they had been updated on the activity around the Shadow base. Redirecting his voice to his comrades he responded initially to Tamati's suggestion.

"I do not know if brute force will be the quickest way through the door. There may also be external defenses as well. I agree that stealth and subtlety would be less effective at this point, however."

Next he looked to the three women on the team, speaking first to the platinum haired mystic, the Juno and Anela as he spoke their names.

"Arca-Knight, be ready with your barriers as we advance. Juno and Angela should take point. Angela will be the best qualified among us to deal with technology and mechanisms."

All

You approach the door and don't find any surveillance or security. You carefully open the door and move down the stairs to find another metal door.
Beyond the metal door is a stark, industrial chamber of concrete supported by heavy, rusting steel arches, lined with coffin-like chambers connected to retro-looking technology. There is a bank of antiquated computers humming with large reels of tape. One end of the room has a raised dais, with steps leading up to another coffin-like chamber. The opposite end has a low raised platform with a control podium beside it.

Inside the chamber is busy with at least a dozen figures in SHADOW uniforms, two of them working beside the chamber atop the dais. Just as you enter the room, a pneumatic hiss announces the chamber’s opening to reveal a tall figure clad in black and silver armor, red cloak, and a full helm reminiscent of a hooded serpent. He steps out of the chamber, one hand pointing towards you. An electronically amplified voice booms from behind his helm.

“Who dares enter the presence of the Overshadow unbidden? Guards! Destroy them!”

Kit Ferryman
HP: 3
Cnd: Fine

Kit was still riding the high of being a hero when he was the last to step through the portal. Angela had taken point on the approach to the cops, which he figured would be more appealing than him unless the cops were female or of a certain persuasion. It was good they had kept the perimeter. Made it easier to contain sort of, but also wasn't the most subtle of methods. When taking over was offered, being a hero how could Kit say no.

While his approach would have been a bit more subtle, namely teleporting into one of the bathrooms than jumping onto the melee, he could see how that couldn't work out too well if the hunch was a lie. "I'm all for walking int he front door. They might not be expecting it.", said Kit.
“Who dares enter the presence of the Overshadow unbidden? Guards! Destroy them!”
"If I said the pizza people would that cue some cheesy music?", cheekily says Kit getting ready for anything.

"Doesn't work so well Kit, especially since in this case we aren't delivery, we're Pest Control."

Sky Guard
HP: 5
Cnd: Healthy
Favored Environment: Inactive

"To arms Guardians!"

Sky Guard called out he leapt into the fray. His wings arched behind his back, rather than flapping to propel him forward. It was his lean legs that carried him into this battle. While Ven was certainly athletic, he certainly favored fighting in the air rather than on the ground. It may well have showed too.

Kit Ferryman

"Hey, Ive seen it both ways. You'd be surprised with how many actors cross over and the stories they tell.", remarks Kit before cracking his knuckles. "Time to root out this infestation of shadows and not in the fun way.", quips Kit before opening a barrage of portals around a cluster of shadow agents that shot out energies that were normally used to teleport people.
Taking 10 for a total of 17 to hit each of the three in the cluster. If they hit its DC 25 toughness.

Kit

Two of the agents push the third in front of them. He gets hit so hard he flies back into one of the other two knocking them out as well.
