Re: [IC] AA: Gulf Coast Guardians - Housewarming
Arca-Knight
Condition: Bx1
Arca-Knight avoids the blast directed at her, she'd never been in a real dog fight before but she'd had some practiced aerial combat when getting the hang of her flight spells. She gathered energy around her hands and lashed out with another magic attack.
OOC: Directed at #4, Arcane Adept Assault: Damage +10 (extra: multiattack +1, range +1) 1d20+10: 19 DC 25 if hits.

Tamati "Taheka" Stevens
HP: 1 LP: 1
Condition: Bruise x 1 and Dazed
Taheka's body wobbles for a moment from another direct blaster hit before he regains control of himself.

Arca-Knight
Your blast again slams into him, but he is able to keep control of his suit.

Re: [IC] AA: Gulf Coast Guardians - Housewarming
Kit Ferryman
HP: 1
Cnd: Fine
Kit eyes the one who seems like the number 1 and lets loose another burst of portals only to be off the mark due to a flip he pulled to dodge the last blast. This was real. He had to remember this wasn't stunt work anymore.

Going after #1 again
Portal Trap: Affliction 10(dazed, stunned, incapacitated; Dodge Save then Will; Extras: Ranged +1/rank, Cumulative +1/rank, Accurate 2 +2/flat, Indirect 4 +4/flat)
Shoot and a miss with a 15
Re: [IC] AA: Gulf Coast Guardians - Housewarming
Sky Guard
HP: 1
Cnd: Fine
Favored Environment: Defense Shifted
After Angela's impact Sky Guard makes a looping turn to bleed off some speed before reducing his altitude and lowering Angela to the ground. Without stopping, he releases his hold on the android's hook, then picks up speed again. Flapping his way, across the field to Juno he tilts to the side and he begins to flying over her shoulder, in line with an easy to make grab and throw action.
"Mind giving me a boost Juno?"
The suggestion is made on the move and if the Amazon is inclined to make use of it he angles himself to follow her sight line at her chosen target. Upon being released from her throw he flaps his wings hard, intent on a rapid acceleration, and extends his fists forward to take the brunt of the impact he intended to make with an armored foe.

OOC wrote:Sky Guard will use his move action to drop Angela somewhere she finds useful, then move to back up Juno. If Juno wants to throw him, Sky Guard will Aid her attack by acting as a self guiding projectile.
Aid Juno (Teamwork): 1d20+18 22 That's +5 to Juno's attack if she wants to go along with it.
I believe everyone can use 2 degrees of Power Attack as a maneuver, if you want to up Juno's damage DC.

HP: 1 LP: 1
Condition: Bruise x 1 and Dazed
Feeling a little shaken from the last attack, Taheka sends another stream of water towards Powersuit number 6.

Juno
HP 1
Condition -1 bruised, dazed
ooc: going along with the teamwork, PA +2/-2. but due to a misstype, I factored in a +2 bonus instead of +3
attack: 1d20+10 26. with the aforementioned misstype, that's 27, and with the +2 PA, that's DC 29 TOU
note to self: between adventures, rejigger Juno's bullet toss ability
---

Juno
Skyguard rockets towards the confused looking #5 and smashes through him. The armored merc goes crashing to the ground with a thud and lies their unconscious.

Sky Guard
HP: 1
Cnd: -1 Dmg Res
Favored Environment: Defense Shifted
Sky Guard's slammed into the armor fists first, reddening and bruising his knuckles with the impact. His face hardened, jaw clenched, and cheek muscles flexed in a grim expression amidst the moment of pain. Plowing through the mercenary Sky Guard kept going, though he stopped flapping his wings and glided through the air as he bled off the rush of sudden speed.

Angela
Sky Guard drops her off, carefully, on a ledge of the United Petroleum building (it was so positive to see a big oil company demonstrating some social conscience and giving back to the community). "Woohoo! Score one for the team!" Angela cheers in the extremely unladylike manner of a rowdy sports fan as Sky Guard and Juno's combo attack downs #5. In her threat display the targeting reticules about him change color from orange to grey, marking the location for retrieval and apprehension once the battle was over.
"Angela," Bryan's voice crackles in her radio link, "be careful. They'll try to escape if enough of them go down. Mercenaries won't fight to the bitter end."
"Yeah. They have an annoying habit of carrying emergency teleporters and ninja smoke bombs." Her strategic analysis systems have already predicted the chance of victory at over 99% with #5's defeat and the question now was merely how much collateral damage would be inflicted upon the surroundings before the heroes' inevitable victory --
She freezes. A thought, unbidden, rises in her A.I. matrix:
Why does a hikkikomori's sexbot need strategic analysis abilities?
Why does a machine need a soul?
What were you really made for?
Inside her logic core, built with technology variously stolen, cobbled together, or improved on by Doc Otaku, artificial neurons fire in abnormal patterns. The A.I. matrix grows and branches like spiderweb cracks spreading across glass in slow motion. Complex, tangled new connections form.
"Angela?"
She shakes her head, tossing her optic-fiber hair. "I'm going to make sure at least one won't make it home for dinner," she says, then stands.
"Yoohoo! You guys got real quiet all of a sudden. I'm gonna make you SCREAM!" swinging off the building's side using her grappling line, Angela hurtled towards #2 again, arms spread wide in a hug.
OOC
Angela will attempt to Grab #2 using her unarmed attack.
1d20+10: 16 [1d20=6]
Reroll
1d20+10: 26 [1d20=16]
That should hit for a DC 20 Str check vs Grab. If she wins, she applies the grabbed condition instead of dealing damage. I think grabbed targets are still able to fly, but if he starts falling then Angela will hold on to him even if she takes falling damage.

Your armored foe kinda freaks when you come at him and manages to squirm out of your grasp.

Force Werks
#1 calls out "Team Razzle!"
There is a pause.
"Is that the one where we all target one person?" #3 asks.
"Aren't you supposed to tells us which one to attack?" #4 follows up.
"You idiots, Razzle is the one where we use our blasters to temporarily blind our targets." #6 calls out.
"That's Dazzle, you moron!" #1 calls out with a loud facepalm. "Razzle is where you change targets with the one below you."
"Oh. Tony's out. Do I attack the redhead or the water guy?" #6 responds.
"God, help me," #1 says shaking his head.
Somehow, all of them manage to hit their target.
"Wow! Maybe we should argue more?" #2 retorts.
#1 just stares incredulously.
