Force Werks

#1 fires his rockets and shoots up into the air. As he soars up, he shouts orders.

"Six, take the puddle. Odds on the redhead and evens take pink hair."

He ends his flight a few feet away from Skyguard. "I've got the leader."

The other 5 of them fly up about 20 feet at various angles and open up on their designated targets with their gauntlet blasters.
#1 is Dazed, so he can only move.
#2 and #4 Attack Angela with Gauntlet Blasters: 2#1d20+11 15 21
One hits, DC24 Toughness
#3 and #5 Attack Juno with Gauntlet Blasters: 2#1d20+11 17 15

Here he thought it would be a simple press event, flash a smile, maybe show off a bit, and generally do another presser on his first day with everyone. Unfortunately, some people had other ideas. It could never be easy. Sighing, he put down his beer and cracked his knuckles as the others rushed out in a flurry. It had been a bit since he did proper heroing with a team and explosions didn't bode well for a start.

Waving his hand, he opens a portal to around where he thought the explosion occurred. It didn't look good. "Two on one, really? Can't even try to have a fair fight, just for the face of it you know?", says Kit to the two attacking Juno. The saving of people was being handled, so he went right into the attacking. Waving his hand again he opens 20 micro portals around one of the armoured foes expending shots of energy.

Sky Guard saw the armored man fly closer to engage him, but he was not going to play the other man's game.

"You want to fight? Then you will have to catch me first metal man!"

Ven called out as he flew past the enemy combatant. Beating his wings once, and angling to the side he made a graceful arc back towards the fray where the rest of the combat was taking place. As he neared, his brow furrowed when he noticed that Taheka was engaging the enemy force rather than following through to check the wreckage for the vehicles occupant. So he shouted, encouraging the watery mass of a man to focus onw hat was most important.

"Taheka, check the car! See if anyone inside survived the explosion. I lack your gifts to deal with the fire."

Swooping down towards the ground he offers Juno a hand as he goes by her. If she took it, he planned to deliver a sudden strung downbeat of his white wings and send them rocketing upwards. At the height of their acceleration Sky Guard planned to launch her towards her chosen target like a tomb punching woman-missle.

He'll remain close to Juno's target afterwards, so as to potentially use Redirect if someone else attacks him. Like #1.

Your portals open up on either side of #3 who has just enough time to say "Uh-oh" before he is awash in energy. When the wave fades, his armor is black and smoking and he falls to the ground.

"Ow," he says as he slowly climbs to his feet.

Still a bit distracted from his wayward shot Taheka didn't even notice the gauntlet blast that inexplicitly dispersed upon hitting his body, not even causing a ripple in his watery form.

"Right cuz I'm on it" Taheka called out now focused on what he had to do. Ignoring the battlesuit wearer whose attack had proved ineffective Taheka made his way over to the burning car, his hand expanding in size until it was large enough to cover the vehicle before bringing it down to dose the flames.

Once the flames were out Taheka moved even closer to check if anyone else was in the vehicle and needed help.

#5's head jerks back and Juno can imagine the surprised look on his face as the Amazonian comes flying up at him...

which is nothing compared to the surprise as her fist slams hard into his armor causing him to do cartwheels in the air a half a dozen times before he finally comes to a stop and hovers their like a drunk person.

Angela rebounds off #1's chestplate, backflips and lands on one knee in a photoshoot-perfect power pose, her right fist on the concrete and her left off to one side. "Bryan," she says. Glowing highlights flash down the fiber-optic strands of her hair as she speaks. "Google these tincan trash for me?"

"They're Force Werks," Bryan's voice crackles in her ear, "a mercenary team that operated on the West Coast up until about a year ago. This is way out of their usual stomping grounds."

Angela brightens at once as she stands up. "Guys, relax. They're a bunch of useless, second-rate trash who couldn't cut it on the West Coast. Any crappier, and their suits would be hauled away for recycling."

"Are you sure it's a good idea to provoke them?"

"Don't comic book heroes always trash talk their enemies in the middle of fights?"

A hail of enemy fire explodes all about her. Myomer fibers in her synthetic muscles swell up, absorbing the shock of the impacts. Her titanium-iridium skeletal frame rocks backwards to further dissipate the effects of the attack. The blast nicks her skimpy suit, leaving scratches and gashes that do not bleed in the synthetic skin beneath, before she is obscured in a cloud of smoke.

A grappling line rockets out of the smoke an instant later to snag the wall of the United Petroleum building. Angela comes rocketing into the air following it, preparing to smash her fist into the faceplate of #2. "Just for the record, my hair is PURPLE! Hyaah!"

Your swing up is right on target, but #2 shifts just enough that you don't hit him straight on. Your fist dents his chestplate before sliding past him.

#1 grimaces as he flies after Skyguard and takes a swing at him.

#2 flies away from Angela by 20 feet and opens up on her with blaster fire.

#3 stays where he is and attacks Kit with his own gauntlet blasters.

#4 redirects his blaster fire to Arca-Knight.

#5 and #6 keeps firing on their respective targets.

With a tilt of his wings Sky Guard manuvers to the side at the last second, causing #1's punch to sail past him and in #5 general direction. The winged warrior's movements in the air were graceful and smooth, making the armor clad mercinaries' punch look clumpsy and brutish by comparison.
