And no, the parasites were something else, entirely. No human DNA, in those things. Arcaninauts, despite how warped and mutated they are, still humans.

The Search roll was a 4, total. Edited the link into my post. For some reason I expected to be using Notice way more than Search. When we get to a point in the narrative where rolls are not being made, would you mind if I tweaked Imperious' sheet to wiggle in some ranks of Search?

I went ahead and shifted some Skill ranks around. Since Imperious has gotten a pretty low roll, I'm estimating he won't find anything. After searching the Lock, he'll go inland again and explore further afield. Just looking for trouble until he either finds some, or it feels like he should be heading back to Bastion.

Imperious doesn't eat, drink, or sleep. Unless he is hurt or has pushed himself to the point he NEEDS rest, he's always active doing something. Feel free to call for a time skip if you feel it would be good for the narrative.

Oh! While swapping Skill points I noticed I had overspent on Super-Senses in the Flight/Utility array. Wound up dropping Ultra-Hearing. Fortunately I don't think that impacts anything that has happened IC.

Is there water in the stables? Where else might there be water in the facility? Are we talking indoor plumbing? I'm thinking about taking samples.

The pods themselves are filled with liquid. Inanimate objects probably don’t understand the difference between drinking water and pharmaceutically-engineered fluid.

Would this be an acceptable time to use Well Informed, to see if Imperious knows anything about someone going by Mr. Mystery?

I added a roll, and some dialog, to the end of my last post.

Normally I don't go in for detective work. That said, as an animist it is turning out to be much more fun and interactive than simple clue hunting.

Yeah, I agree! I’m trying to play inanimate objects as being very limited in vocabulary and yet, at the same time, quite frank about things. They don’t understand good or evil...they just know their purpose.
