Darklight

Ryan looks around and Vortex ports out to play ambulance. He grimaces a bit over the announcement that Shift was found badly beaten. He didn't doa good job of being a partner.

"Uhm, can somebody tell me what I am looking for?" he calls out over the commlink.

Vindicator Eva McKenna
HP: 3; Condition: Concerned
Liz reacted slowly to the hand on her shoulder. "Not here, Eva. We've got work to do."

"I'm fine."
Eva nodded a softer expression on her face as she took a breath and let her professionalism reassert itself as she stepped back.

"understood." she said her voice soft and maybe a little hurt that she couldn't help Liz.

As she spoke her cowl and visor rezzed back into existence, shutting her off from the real world into the safer world of technology and science.
"Uhm, can somebody tell me what I am looking for?" he calls out over the commlink
She answered Ryan her voice a cool tone that she used in her lab.

"Look for anything out of the ordinary. Paperwork, weapons, blueprints, technology that doesn't fit, technology that does."

"They had a major operation going here; which someone felt was enough of a threat, or prize to send a seriously skilled individual to either shut down or gain control of, or to obtain something in the base worth taking a risk for."

Liz knew Eva wasn't going to let it go but she was thankful for a temporary reprieve from talking about it.

"We had an unknown third party here. We want anything we can use to identify or track them."

Vindicator Eva McKenna
HP: 3; Condition: Ok holmes

Eva stepped up to the Controls in the Command area, and began typing at a furious pace as she took in the data Liz was sending her. She then extrapolated that data and ran it through an algorithm she wrote on the spot as she fed instructions to Ryan, Rex and Jon in their own searches. She aided them further by using the bases security network and her own sensors to expand the search.

Evas roll to aid Since a Nat 20 is awesome _: 1D20+14 = [9]+14 = 23 sweeeeet

Everyone:

Despite the age of the parts used in the physical construction of the computer system it is nearly as fast as anything that could be considered its modern equivalent, and Vindicator is able to find video footage of the room where the attack on Reflex took place.

His attacker, and Shift's, is revealed to be a modern day ninja whose outfit is darkly colored with a green pattern that is spider themed. It doesn't take Liz much to realize that it is the man known as the Jade Spider, a known super villain. She also finds enough finger prints in the room to confirm that is him and not someone impersonating him.

Though exactly why he came after Reflex isn't obvious, but once he incapacitated the mercenary Jade Spider put a device he pulls from a hidden pocket into one of the many ports on the control boad and waited several minutes until he got the information he'd came for - all of Reflexe's files on members of the super villain community who might be possible clients for his latest endeavor. After that he takes his leave using some kind of chi ability that allowed him to enter the base undetected.

Liz frowned. "Let's make sure we get a copy of everything he did. It might make it easier to track him down. Or give a clue to who he's working for."

Vindicator Eva McKenna
HP: 3; Condition: techy
Liz frowned. "Let's make sure we get a copy of everything he did. It might make it easier to track him down. Or give a clue to who he's working for."
"Already done. Have a full upload of the file system and map of the OS. We should be able to follow his progress through the system and specific files he searched." She reprorted. "We can hook into the League and Champions systems for more information on the Jade Spider as needed."

Sounds good actually Evas got Online research which means she can use Int for gather info checks. _: 1D20+10 = [17]+10 = 27
