Oh good, looks like some other people have brought along the cooking gear, torches, and rope, so I don't have to. For reference, Rachel is planning to be out for the day, possibly overnight.

Equipment List for Rachel (Trip #1)
>Bought with points:
-Staff (more of a solid walking stick)
-Crossbow (20 bolts)
-Leather-reinforced robes (armor 1, subtle)
-MW Healer's kit (in pack)

>General gear:
-One set of plain traveling clothes (worn, includes scarf and lightweight cloth gloves)
-Heavy-duty cloak with hood (waterproof wool)
-Backpack
-Bedroll (pack)
-Belt pouch
-Waterskin (slung from pack)
-2 days of reasonable food (mostly dried)(pack)
-Spare set of plain traveling clothes (pack)
-Tinderbox with flint and steel (pouch)
-5 sticks of chalk (pouch)
-Eating kit (plate, bowl, cup, spoon, knife)(pack)
-6 candles (2 in pouch, 3 in pack pocket, 1 in lantern)
-Small 'candle' lantern (more the sort of thing one would set on a table than an 'exploring' lantern)(hanging from pack, for now)
-2 empty sacks (pack)
-Small general purpose knife (not for fighting, on belt)

>Scribe's kit: (leather case, slung over one shoulder like a purse or handbag)
-Wooden 'clip' board
-Paper (x12)
-Ink (2 bottles)
-Quill pens (x2)
-Charcoal or grease 'pencil'
-small bag of fine sand (to blot ink)

>Specifically NOT carried (left at home):
-Ritual kit (including silver ritual knife)
-MW small harp
-Spare fancy clothes
-The notes she wrote down last night (in case we never come back!)

I like your lists of detailed equipment! They will matter.

Years of LARPing, and more years of D&D both before and since, tend to make one over-prepare just a touch. Nothing quite like the look on a new player's face when we break out the good gear, like the ACTUAL 50-foot coil of rope, the serious thief kit, or the combat-safe ten-foot pole.

Plus, of course, Rachel is well-versed in heroic stories- enough to learn the whole "For want of a nail" theory...

I realize the forest hasn't been named! You can propose names if you want.

The beginning of the intro post refers to the "forest of Umbrasol"- is this a different forest?

I think Reva also needs a perception.

Thisbis what happens when you play as superheroes for too long, you end up wanting to save everything...
Am I dead? Am I alive? The answer may surprise you!

I’m visiting my parents starting today so I’ll be out of pocket until Sunday for the most part. I might be able to throw up a quick post if needed but generally I’ll be busy.
