Just FYI, I'm heading out-of-town this weekend. My internet access/availability will be spotty.

Okay, thanks for letting us know.
And for some inexplicable reason I feel the need to show examples of the folding chairs. I blame insanity.
I assume Aleah will be going with Jakkar? ;~)Flynnarrel wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 9:41 am Aleah is curious about such a large building being boarded up. He’ll walk around trying to find identification.

That's exactly the kind of thing I was thinking of.
Also I briefly looked up the first cases of folding furniture like that, apparently they go WAY back. I guess the desire to have a seat that you can fold up and move elsewhere is an old one.

Yeah, I was a little surprised when I started doing a little research. I figured folding chairs would have been a far more recent thing, but no they've been around for quite a long time.
Pricing for the chair will be 14 CP, unless you feel like trying to haggle for it.
Sorry, more than a little sick at the moment.

Honestly I would have been willing to pay more for it, in and out of character. Georgia is gonna chalk that up that good of a deal to whatever is wrong with the man.Arkrite wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 2:14 am Yeah, I was a little surprised when I started doing a little research. ... I would like to say that there are some reasonable fun people you will get to meet soon. I promise. -_-;
There is a link for the map that should make it slightly bigger to see.
I will apologize for the size of the map, and the legend being so large. This map is literally of the entire city, and each of those squares is supposed to be 20 feet.
To help you see where you are right now in town, you are in the red area:
I tried to add everybody's character image and make their color match their speech, though I embellished on Flynn's just to make it stand out more.
Let me know if I mixed it up.

Turns out all the pictures I added work amazing... as long as you are logged in as me.
Made some changes, let me know if they are not showing up for you now.
Thanks.

LOl- "The Tattooed Man"? What kind of ABSOLUTE DILDO would refer to himself as "The Tattooed Man" !?!

Really cool job, Ark!

Nah, that would be petty and not much fun.
Honestly you just had real bad luck on your first encounter. And second.
The good news is that there's only one exceptionally bad encounter after this and it's completely avoidable.
With my luck you guys are going to beeline for the worst possible encounter in the entire game after this...

As per TM's question:
There really isn't a disarm option in the PHB for 5e, short of an ability one of the fighter paths get.
But if it helps, 5e can be significantly less lethal than previous versions with minimal effort:
PHB 198 - When an attacker reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack, the attacker can knock the creature out. The attacker can make this choice the instant the damage is dealt. The creature falls unconscious and is stable.
That said it does make things a little more difficult for magic and ranged users, doesn't it?
