Of the three special commandos, Somlum was the most like a normal Zoanoid; he resembled a semi-humanoid lizard with a long tail, armored skin, razor-sharp claws and a row of spines down his back.
Somlum`s strong legs allow him to excel in jumping to great heights. He also possessed the ability to secrete and spew a unique adhesive - not an ordinary glue, but a molecular bonding agent which would actually merge with any object it touched and could not be removed. Indeed, the Guyver did manage to rip himself free but at the cost of some grievous injuries; nevertheless, he did free himself and killed Somlum immediately after.

Cronos scientists are infected by a deadly virus as a means of keeping them under control. The only way to escape death is to be supplied with regular shots or to become Zoanoids. The only way to become a Zoanoid and yet not be slaves to the Zoalords is to become a Lost Number. Since supplies of the medicine were running out, they resorted to attempt to becoming Lost Numbers.
Hayami was the only scientist that survived the process, becoming "Bio-Freezer". He possesses the unique power to affect the temperature of the environment around him to a certain extent. Aptom finds him and, once he realizes what Hayami is, brings him to meet the Guyvers and their friends. Unfortunately, later on his mission with Sho to save Aptom from the three rogue Zoa Lords, he sacrifices himself to save the latter, knowing that he was going to die anyway, due to flaws in the make-shift optimization process.

Vikarr is a post X-Day Zoanoid, a specialized aerial type developed by Chronos after their rise to power. Vikarr resemble bats to some extent; their forearms have become massive wings, and their ears are enormous. Adversely, they are completely eyeless, navigating by sonar alone.
This sonar system is located in their chest, unlike an actual bat's; the three crystal-like external units double as a powerful sonic weapon, potent enough to affect the Guyver (although the actual extent of the weapon's effect is unknown; on the one occasion a Vikarr confronted the Guyver, he feigned weakness, only to strike after they believed him harmless). The raw power output of the weapon seems inferior to that of Myumelzee and Noskov's sonic cannons, but Vikarr compensate for this by being far more mobile and operating in teams.

Individually, Vikarr are very light, designed entirely for swift flight, and are otherwise physically weak for a Zoanoid; apart from their sonar cannon, their only weapon consists of venomous spikes on their shoulders and knees.

The bird-like Valvatos appears to be a further development of Zoanoids like Malcult, Casvarius and Citiciss. Its arms have been elongated, like theirs, but this development appears to have reached its extreme: its body has the proportions and flying ability of an eagle or hawk. The only real concession to the humanoid form appear to be two human-like clawed hands on the wings. After Devold, Valvatos is the lightest of the flyer types.

Malcult is an experimental Zoanoid model produced by Cronos during the earliest stages of aerial-type development. It has clear avian features though its body is covered in fur rather than feathers. It is stated to be a prototype of Casvarius or perhaps Citiciss.
Two Malcult Zoanoids were deployed against Sho Fukamachi shortly after he became the Guyver-I and attacked him at his high school. Of course, they proved to be ineffective and were quickly eliminated.

He is apparently capable of surviving in the vacuum of space as well. With so much of his optimization focused on his ability to operate in any kind of environment, Bilfinger possesses no special weapons like other Hyper-Zoanoids. However, his carapace can absorb most impacts and he uses his tremendous physical strength to simply crush opponents.
