HISTORY
1948, September 29: T.O.Morrow creates Mister Twister to destroy the JSA. However, Twister's Pinocchio-like desire to be human results in him turning against Morrow and joining the JSA as Red Tornado.
1951, October 13: During the Senate Subcommittee hearings of the House UnAmerican Activities Committee, each member of the Justice Society is requested to reveal their identities. The JSA refuse to be exposed on the grounds that they are not prepared to reveal their true identities to anyone. Due to America's strong campaign, they put a great deal of pressure on the JSA, but they never did reveal their identity. Instead, they simply disappear.
After leaving the HUAC committee, the JSA decide to officially disband.
Red Tornado is deactivated.
1977, July 8: The Young Justice team is formed in Mount Justice. They are joined by Martian Manhunter's niece: Miss Martian. Red Tornado agrees to live in Mount Justice as the team's overseer.

I have no idea. The only DC title Im currently reading is Aquaman.

My superhero campaigns tend to be based on the classic eras of comics mixed with my favorites movies and cartoons.

1967, April 21: Superman once again helps open the Metropolis World's Fair. During opening day, the Legion of Doom -- led by Vandal Savage, the Legion includes Barbara "Cheetah (ii)" Minerva, Copperhead, Floronic Man, Gorilla Grodd, Scorpion, and The Shark -- attack the Justice League. Savage is defeated, but at the last moment he activates a nuclear bomb. Superman flies the bomb into space, where it detonates harmlessly (and discovers he can survive in space). Savage is taken into custody by Hank Haywood. Only Cheetah and Grodd escape capture.
1990, July 21: Floronic Man and Poison Ivy kidnap chemical weapons designer Dr. Harold Goldbloom.
1990, August 14: Floronic Man and Poison Ivy break into STAR Labs in Gotham City to steal information on Alec Holland's bio-restorative formula. While Batman investigates leads at ARGUS, Nightwing tracks down Harley Quinn (35) to help find Ivy.
Harley leads the Dynamic Duo to Slaughter Swamp. Woodrue fatally wounds Dr. Goldbloom to keep him quiet while escaping with Ivy. Goldbloom stays alive long enough to tell Batman the two villains are heading to the Louisiana swamp; being the location of the correct swamp chemicals.
1990, August 15: Arriving in Louisiana, ARGUS, Batman, Harley, and Nightwing battle Woodrue and Ivy. Harley resorts to crying to stop Ivy; who is swayed by their friendship. Woodrue attempts to dump the bio-restorative chemicals into the swamp but is stopped and destroyed by Swamp Thing.

1970, September: While stealing from Multigon International, Catwoman witnesses Red Claw and her agents stealing canisters of a lethal bio-weapon to ransom Gotham City. Red Claw notices Selina Kyle (23) before she can escape. Batman and Catwoman infiltrate Red Claw's base but are captured. Escaping, the pair destroy the bio-weapon. Red Claw escapes capture. Batman places Catwoman under arrest.

1986, September: Elvira is accused of witchcraft by the people of Louisville, Kentucky and almost burned at the stake. Summoning rain with her magic ring, Elvira escapes. She battles her Uncle Vincent for control of her mother's book of spells. Vincent is banished to Hell.
1987, January: After becoming the sole beneficiary of her Uncle Vincent's estate, Elvira (36) leaves Louisville, Kentucky to open a show in Fun City. While in Fun City, Elvira loses the deed to the House of Mystery in a game of strip poker to John Constantine (36).
1988, September 30: The film "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark" is released detailing a fictional account of Elvira's (37) escapades in Louisville, Kentucky (replaced by the fictional town of Fallwell, Mass.). Although the film has a strong cult following, it is a financial flop.
While developing a character build for John Constantine, I wanted to include him having the House of Mystery, ala Justice League: Dark. So, while researching the House of Mystery, I discovered that DC had a short-lived Elvira comic where she was trapped inside the HoM and had wacky adventures. Being a fan of Elvira, I could not help but include her in my personal DC Universe. She is pretty much the biggest slacker of the supernatural community; using her magic only to keep herself young, beautiful, and enhance her stage shows. (Zatanna HATES Elvira with the fire of a thousand suns!)
