Complications:
Relationship (Ice Princess)- The Lady of the Eternal Winter misses her infant daughter terribly, though rarely speaks of her. She has entrusted her most valuable soldier with the Princess's care, but fears the day she must encounter the girl she thought lost forever. What could she possibly say?
Relationship (Advisors)- The Lady has only a few trusted advisors, including a Frost Dragon (each Sorcerer-King has a Dragon as a primary ally) and Pericus, the mighty Captain of her army.
Responsibility (Eladria)- The elemental kingdom of Eladria was once a paradise of all the seasons, with wondrous storms of magic throughout. Now it reflects its queen- a desolate hell of pure ice and frost. The Queen mourns what once was, but cannot open her heart once more. Her citizens both depend on her for protection, and fear her terribly.
Relationships (Allied Sorcerer-Kings)- The Kings of the realms of Black Magic, and Ochre Magic c fight alongside the Queen.
Enemy (Enemy Sorcerer-Kings)- The Kings of the realms of White Magic, Gold Magic, and Violet Magic fight against the Queen and her allies.
Relationship (Unallied Sorcerer-Kings)- The Kingdoms of Green and Red Magic remain unallied, staying neutral in the war. Both sides strain to convince them to join their side.
Total: Abilities: 62 / Skills: 66--33 / Advantages: 22 / Powers: 163 / Defenses: 14 (294)
-Her name is lost to history (and those who know it are too fearful to say it out loud)- the Lady of the Eternal Winter is part of a group of eight masters of magic known as the "Sorcerer-Kings of Aramar". Aramar itself is an otherdimensional world which has only rarely had access to Earth. Each realm of Aramar was ruled by one of these beings, each of whom had mastery over a single school of magic- in her case, the Lady, Queen of Eladria, was one of the foremost masters of Blue Magic- Elementalism. In her case, this manifested as extremely powerful Ice Magic. The Queen was once known as a loving and caring monarch, truly happy in her marriage- which had recently been blessed with an infant girl- but everything changed more than a decade ago, when several of the realms of Aramar banded together and made a grab for power. The Queen's beloved husband was cut down defending their child, which was whisked away at the last moment, and sent away to Earth. Thus, the little girl was also lost to the Queen, as opening the portal to Earth was extremely difficult, and would endanger the girl all over again.
-The Queen was shattered by the occurrence, as one might expect. Wreaking a terrible vengeance upon her husband's killers, she sank into a despair, which soon resulted in an aching Queen causing an Eternal Winter over her once-vibrant kingdom, as it reflected her own heart. Unable to handle the pain, she soon closed herself off emtionally, allowing only a few trusted advisors (including a Frost Dragon and the Captain of her army) to directly communicate with her- her citizens despaired at her loss to begin with, but soon grew desondent over the loss of crops, health and freedom- the frozen wastes took over the entire land. Many abandoned Eladria, though fear of their enemies (who still pushed against the gates) kept the majority within its frozen borders, lest the monsters on the other side get them.
-Years would go by, and a Queen, cold in both name and heart by this point, would not recover. Her allies in other kingdoms proved strong enough to hold off their enemies, but constant warfare was a way of life. Months ago, however, a permanent way of entering Earth was discovered- the Queen's enemies soon started making their way through it, endangering the young girl she knew was on the other side. And so she sent her trusted Captain to protect the girl, who was growing in magical might (Sorcery runs strongly in their family- innate Ice Magic was natural), preparing for a final battle against the enemies of her realm- her Eternal Winter might soon fade, especially if she opens her heart once more.
-The Lady of the Eternal Winter is a being of incredible power- all of the Sorcerer-Kings are remarkable in might. She can throw icicles as large as buildings for as far as the eye can see, render nearly any object brittle as clay, and even freeze beings from the inside out, sending spears of ice tearing through their innards. She can even summon powerful Ice Golems to fight on her behalf.
Jab's Notes: God as my witness, I created Ice Princess before "Frozen" came out. However, her mother was somewhat based off of something I heard as a rumor for that film- that it would be about a queen who froze her kingdom out of loneliness after her heart had been broken. The idea was that a man could come along and thaw it, or something. Given that "Ice Powered Women" always turn out super-hot (it's that white and light blue, man- SO FEMININE!), it was a natural fit for a somewhat morally-ambiguous character. That men (including me) tend to get rather into distant, unattainable women at times, it fit on that level as well. Basically, she's the smoking hot, regal woman who wants nothing to do with you, and you could never get her- WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE HOTTER?
-The character more or less was invented fully-formed- she would be unattainable, cold, distant and hide this incredible pain and sorrow under a veil of "I'm an emotionless woman". Her power would be incredible, but her kingdom would be a snowy wasteland full of frightened peasants and soldiers who were nonetheless forced to fight on her behalf (because there were worse monsters out there). The Origin Story is heavily modifed from the one in "Sailor Moon"- instead of Usagi being sent into the future to be reborn, I added some "Tangled" tragedy and had an infant sent away to Earth to be protected from the Queen's enemies. Thus her advisor Pericus (whose love for the Queen, by the way, is meant to be obvious to everyone but her and Melody) is sent to be Melody's "Luna"- an advisor-cat (to avoid suspicion). Initially, he would be the one to thaw her frozen heart with love or whatever, but it's probably a stronger narrative to subvert that and go "Full Frozen" with a reunion with her daughter saving things.
