here's everyone's favorite "Love-Doll"(now i know i'm going to Heck for that),Electrocute!...
Image
ELECTROCUTE(Candy) Occupation:Hero, ex-Sex Doll(it's creepy,but i had to put it here)
STRENGTH 9 STAMINA -- AGILITY 2 FIGHTING 5 DEXTERITY 3 INTELLIGENCE 4 AWARENESS 0 PRESENCE 0

Skills:
Close Combat (Unarmed) 2 (+7) Persuasion 3 (+3) Perception 7 (+7) Technology 4 (+8)

Advantages:
Equipment (Pager), Interpose, Ranged Attack 5, Set-Up

Powers:
"Robotic Body"
Immunity 30 (Fortitude Effects) [30]
"Titanium Construction" Protection 9 (Extras: Impervious) [18]
"Robotic Senses" Senses 4 (Enhanced & Infravision, Acute Scent, Extended Hearing, Detect EM Particles- Ranged & Tracking) [7]

Electrical Blast 10 (Feats: Split) (Extras: Penetrating 6) (27) -- [30]
AE: "Electrical Stun" Affliction 10 (Fort; Dazed/Stunned/Incapacitated) (Feats: Split) (21)

Offense:
Unarmed +7 (+9 Damage, DC 24)
Electrical Blast +10 (+10 Ranged Damage, DC 25)
Stun +10 (+10 Affliction, DC 20)
Initiative +2

Defenses:
Dodge +6 (DC 16), Parry +6 (DC 16), Toughness +9(Impervious), Fortitude --, Will +6

Complications:
Quirk(Naive)-being "born" for a little over a week at the formation of the Team,Candy was a little...lost on the way she had an effect on guy's(a good example of this was when they first met Hardcase...:))
Relationship(Grenade)-Candy wound up hooking up with,in my opinion, the Worst possible person for her, with Hugh. They do truly care for each other though(as shown when she fought her programming to not fight him when J.D.Hunt,jr. temporarily took her over)...
Quirk(Slight Depression)-Candy know's she a Gynoid and just wants to be Human.this want has occassionaly gotten her into trouble(Like when she just charged recklessly into a fight with Deathurge)...
Enemy(J.D.Hunt)-This doughbag hated it that Candy gained powers and he didn't.He never left the Strangers alone(he even went so far as to make TNTNT JUST for the purpose of Taking back "His Property".Jerk.)...

Background:
Candy began her life as a highly-advanced android created by scientists working for billionaire J.D. Hunt. Though her systems were amazingly advanced, Hunt only wanted her to use as a sex doll. When Hunt took Candy with him on a San Francisco trolley car, some of the other passengers took offense at his actions of openly making out with Candy and threw the billionaire off. Before Candy could do anything, the trolley was struck by a mysterious bolt of blue lightning! The "jump-start effect" of the lightning effected even Candy's mechanical body and computer brain, turning her artificial intelligence into actual sentience. Confused and disoriented, Candy wandered the streets for a time before joining with a group of fellow passengers who had been granted Ultra-powers by the lightning, forming a superhero team called "The Strangers". Discovering she had also been given the power to shoot electrical blasts, Candy took the codename ElectoCute.

Macyn's Notes:
I personally liked how they did Candy's story(it was honestly better that they were Doing The Vision's at the Time...)and made her they "Naive Kid" of the Group.Personally didn't think her&Grenade should have been together,but...*Shrug's shoulders*

Complications:
Motivation (Doing Good)-Unlike a lot of the other Strangers(save maybe Lady Killer),David wasn't being Paid to be a hero by LaBrava,he was doing it because he seriously wanted to help out...
Fame?(Openly Gay)-Being the Only openly gay Hero in the Ultraverse(at least untill later),David tends to get singled out a lot by the press...
Relationship(Family)-David loves his family to death and would do anything to help them....
Responsibility(Family Buisness)-David makes certain that, despite being an Ultra Hero now,his Family Bakery is alway's running on time...
Relationship(Grenade?!)-Dave actually has a major Crush on Hugh, which i could honestly never figure out why...

Background:
Dave Castiglione runs an Italian bakery in San Francisco's North Beach which has been in his family for three generations. Not even his new powers can keep him from making sure his customers get their daily bread ! When the Jumpstart hit Dave , he gained a spectrum of ultranormal abilites, The powers in his spectrum come in seven forms, each marked by a flame of a different color--so he could be the most powerful Stranger of them all !

Macyn's Notes:
Wow.Just Wow!I never really realized just how powerful the "Token Flaming/Flying Dude" was on this team untill i had to actually Stat him up.
On an unrelated note,I never could understand why Dave had that crush on Hugh.Anybody care to help me figure it out?...

Wow, that dude really had a full-Avatarverse power set-up, including all the crazy side feats? Yeah, that tends to get a bit pricey.

Ah, comics: Sentient sexbots named "ElectroCute" :).

oops,kind-of caught me gimping out on Spectral...
I actually tried making him from "scratch" power-wise,but had a near nervous breakdown trying to stat-up all the powers he showed throughout the Series and decide to mooch a little,my bad.

and yes,i too appriciate the name "Electrocute" on a female sexbot. :)

Complications:
Motivation(Thrills)-Leon is just a kid and absolutely loves his power's...
Quirk?(Street Kid)-Due to leon's mom having to work a lot(she EARNED my respect by refusing to have Lady Killer pay her to "Headquarter's-sit" for them,as she wanted to make it on her own),he basically became a sort-of "San-Fran street kid" stereotype...

Background:
Leon Balford was portrayed as the typical urban kid stereotype. He was present on the cable car that was struck by lightning, which gave him along with approximately fifty other people ultra powers. He joined the Strangers, which was a group of random passengers that were present on the cable car who banded together to fight evil and find out the source of their powers.

Macyn's Notes:
as much as i liked the idea of Leon,i hated that he was a Stereotypical "Urban Kid" and thought they could've done more with him...

Relationship(Zip-Zap)-Despite being a bit of a b%&ch to the rest of the members(she was even Mean to CANDY,calling her a "Thing" to her face for crying out loud!),Leon tried to help her adjust to being "on the Ground-Floor"(His words, not mine) and she eventually say him as a little Brother type..
Responsibility(The Cloud People)-Despite her Arrogance,Yrial really does want to help her people...
Quirk(Arrogance)-Even though she comes across as an uber-B&^ch to absolutely everyone she meet's.

Enjoying your Ultraverse builds. I only read Siren, but looking back I think I would've enjoyed several of the books.

I remember the Marvel crossover (the seventh infinity stone) and Marvel buying Malibu. I was hopeful they would actually use the characters, but unfortunately they were tossed in the forgotten bin. I guess Marvel just bought them out because they were afraid of a little competition. . . . . .

Looking forward to seeing more builds.

No problem; I used to crib stuff all the time from other posters. Plus, part of why I post stuff is to help out others, whether in games or in statting (people ALWAYS tell me they've used my Animal Builds, for example).

So I just looked through everything here & I must say that I am impressed with the Ultraverse builds. I read a good portion of them when they came out and still miss them today because overall the Ultraverse was a nicely done setting that Marvel tore apart (for a few reasons I won't get into).

You've a pretty good handle on the characters, I did builds of some of them (feel free to use for reference) of them a long time ago, though I think any differences are more a case of builder's choice than anything else. Looking forward to see who else you build next.

I'm intrested in hearing your take on who Marvel tossed into the Ultraverse when they took it over.As for my opinion on it all,I think they weren't too bad....OK,Juggernaught as a hero was kind-of stupid(They could've used D-Man or even Doc Samson, for crying out loud!)i will admit that,But Black Knight as Field Leader for Ultraforce wasn't that bad an idea,as it did give the man a chance to get out from under the "Captain America Lead's The Avengers" shadow they had him under....

Also,i personally chose not to do the "Celtic Night Man" due to the fact that that was during the "Black September" fiasco that Marvel started from...

OK,Let's start with my favorite band of Merc's...
Image
THE SOLUTION
Formed by Tech in order to take back her company. They're mostly working as Mercenaries&troubleshooters...
Story:
When the powerful Dragon Fang Traid took control of Hypersonic, Lela Cho's electronics firm, the young woman used her money to form a team of ultras to take it back. This team is The Solution. When they aren't fighting the Dragon Fang , the team makes money by taking on case from other people , They specialize in dealing with ultras, which are a growing international menace . No matter what the task or job, always remember : if you have a problem , they have the solution !
Enemies:
Quattro=a Group of Ultra Mercenaries&killers who work for anyone, regardless of the Morality..They were kind of the "Dark Mirror" for the team...
The Draon Fang=In my opinion one of the better set-up "Evil Corperations" out there, this group of villians creates&secures Ultra technology...
Rex Mundi=The Main villian for EVERY SINGLE ULTRA in Malibu, this guy showed up absolutely everywhere(Even Briefly in Prime for crying out loud!),i personally thought they were trying to make a Malibu version of Vandal Savage/Apocalypse and failed...
Macyn's Notes:
What's intresting about this group,to me at least, was the Dictonomy of what they did:They were Mercenaries formed to take back a company&helped people with Ultra problems for a fee(In a Dropkick specific issue,he even went so far as to help stop a Child Kidnapping/slavery ring for a Dollar!).I actually thought they were better than Marvel's Heroes for Hire(which was the first to try this idea out!)

Honestly the best part of Marvel characters in the Ultraverse was the Black Knight leading Ultra Force. I mean Dane is pretty interesting character IMO (given he's a scientist using magical gear (most of the time) who's worjed with some of the biggest heroes in the MU). Do his showings in the Ultraverse were good AFAIC.

Now as for the All New Exiles......well it was interesting. Reaper & Selenia Blaze got a lot more characterization than they ever did in the MU, but AFAIC that wasn't Juggernaut. Just some other dimensional, weak version of Cain Marko we got to read about. My problem is that like when most series end everything that was done with the characters is basically thrown out the window because 9 out of 10 times the next writer either isn't aware of or doesn't care about the character's last showing. So everything done with Selina & Reaper was forgotten about (though it wasn't a loss in regards to Juggernaut).

I also don't count that as Juggernaught, though i understand the reasoning behind all the Power Drop Issues with the Characters better than most, cause i actually paid attention to how they Explained the Jumpstart Effect during The Break-Thru Crossover(Honestly one of my favorite's right before The Godwheel.Hated that they dropped Loki into it though...)

I was always curious about Blaze & Reaper being used in that series- they were two such minor characters! What did they get up to in that?

I was always curious about Blaze & Reaper being used in that series- they were two such minor characters! What did they get up to in that?
From what i remember of the (Relativly?[i know i misspelled that word] short) series was that Blaze,Reaper&Juggernaught somehow got pulled into the Ultraverse due to the events of Black September where they tried to "Do the Right Thing" as Outlaws wanted for some Major Damage&loss of life they May not have caused.

as an added note, they signifigantly dropped Blaze&Cain's Power Level, which suprised many readers. They explained it away as saying that,Due to all the Jumpstart Effect's that had happened,it was difficult for a Lot of Visitors to have their old powers at their usual Levels(Kind-of like trying to talk to someone over a very bad connection:you can do it,you just don't get the whole conversations sometimes)

Storyline wise,The writers tried to explore two stories with them:The "Robinson Curuso" angle with Blaze&Reaper, pluse the "Big Brother/Little sister" Relationship between Marko&Hunt.....

and that's about all i got out of them. :)
