Ettins, too, are one of my favorite "dumb thug" monsters.
Yeah, you can't beat a mook that argues with itself. Kinda makes me wish Man-Bull had two heads. :D
Damn- that gives me another idea for an OC super-villain :).

Motivation: Proving himself to be worthy of glory outside of the teaching of the God-Pharoah.

Abilities 46 + Skills 10 (20 ranks) + Advantages 6 + Powers 54 + Defenses 9 = 125 / 125

Comments: I figured my higher level party could use one more member so here’s a take on an aven psion, Qassuth. He hails from Sekhumnkhet and as a member of the Ahn Crop before his mental powers manifested. Once they did, he realized that something was wrong with in the land and became a dissenter. He was cast out and had to survive in the desert until he found his way to Gilthorian. After fending for himself for a good while, he met up with Jobymme and Baruun who befriended him and he became a member of their adventuring party after Beaver and Dryzza left to start their own.

Guilt: Eran was the cause of an accident that severely injured her brother and she has never gotten over it, even though he has forgiven her.
I don't get it…: Most humor is completely lost on Eran.
Motivation: Healing any who need it and fighting evil.
Power Loss: Life Priests need to be able to speak and gesture to casts their spells.
Relationships: She is close to her father, Gerian and her brother, Waldrien.

Abilities 38 + Skills 9 (18 ranks) + Advantages 5 + Powers 28 + Defenses 10 = 90 / 90

Comments: Eran here is my first take on an Aasimar. I was doing some potential party assignments and I realized that somehow, despite my best attempts to keep the male/female ratio even, once I started matching up PCs, I was somehow short of women, and surprisingly, healers. They’re not as important in MnM as they are in D&D but still, when I started grouping PCs into 5-6 different parties, I had several duplicate skill sets. But Eran and reworking Glaesya from my old thread should fix a lot of things.

Eran became a healer and adventurer because her recklessness as a child caused her brother to be paralyzed and she’s never really forgiven herself. Because of that, she became a healer to try and restore him, but she hasn’t learned enough healing magic yet so she adventurers to become a great enough healer to undo her greatest mistake.

Daddy Issues: Glaesya's father is her hero, but not well thought of in her community. But she doesn't know why.
Doing Good: Glaesya is a hero, through and through, and wants nothing more to do the right thing.
Honor: She is a woman of her word, always. Ofter to a fault.
Power Loss: If she loses faith in her god, her powers can fail.
Serious: Glaesya is all business and faith, which can make her difficult to deal with sometimes.

Abilities 46 + Skills 10 (20 ranks) + Advantages 11 + Powers 30 + Defenses 8 = 105 / 105

Comments: I got a couple of Dawnstrike Paladin cards on the cheap and even though the card is OK, I love the art, hence, it becomes another class in Gloriant.

Glaesya is a Dawnstrike Paladin who is a 3rd generation adventurer. She loves and looks up to her father, despite him having a questionable reputation among some, but no one would ever discuss the specifics with her. Her birth name was Glasya, because her mother loved the name, but obviously she didn’t have much knowledge of demonology. Once the origins of the name were made known to her, Glaesya changed the spelling and the pronunciation to (Glay-es-ee-ah).

Here is her loyal steed. I probably should have made it a Sidekick or a Summoned minion, but I wanted to spread her points elsewhere.

Toughness +12 (+2 Impervious), Fortitude +10, Will +6

COMPLICATIONS:
Disability: A Watcher in the Water cannot speak humanoid languages nor perform fine manipulation with its tentacles.
Vulnerable: While it can function on land for a short period, a Watcher in the Water cannot survive out of water for long due its bulk and aquatic physiology.

Abilities 24 + Skills 8 (16 ranks) + Advantages 3 + Powers 64 + Defenses 9 = 108 / 108

Comments: Flipping through channels the other day and I came across Fellowship of the Ring just about the end of the Watcher in the Water scene. Made me think that I needed some in Gloriant. In my setting, I see there being far more than one but not a ton of them. Enough that they could be encountered by a number of adventurers over the years, with few living to tell the tale.

Dragon Breath: Cone Area Damage 4 (Extra: Cone Area [60 ft cone], Descriptor - Acid [Swamp Dragons], Cold [Frost, Silver Dragons], Electrical [Cobalt, Storm Dragons], Fire [Fire, Gold Dragons], Heat [Sun Dragons], Poison [Death Dragons], Steam [Water Dragons]); 8 pts

NONE

OFFENSE:
Initiative +2
Close Attack +4 [Unarmed +3; Claws/Bite +4, Multiattack; Dragon Bite +4]

Special Attack [Dragon Breath +4, Cone Area]

DEFENSES:
Dodge +3 [DC13] Parry +3 [DC13]
Toughness +5 (+2 Impervious), Fortitude +5, Will +3

COMPLICATIONS:
Motivation: Greed and territoriality. Even at birth, dragons know their place in the world and that's to get as much as they can and carve a territory defend against others who want everything they've gotten.
Power Loss: A hatchling Fire Dragon must wait 2-3 rounds (GM rolls 1-10 [3 rounds], 11-20 [2 rounds]) before using their breath weapon or Dragon Bite again.
Reputation: THE monsters of the world.
Vulnerable: Dragons are vulnerable to effects that are in direct opposition to their elemental breath weapon, taking an extra degree of failure against them.

Abilities 22 + Skills 5 (10 ranks) + Advantages 3 + Powers 44 + Defenses 6 = 80 / 80

Comments: And here there be dragons...

It was only a matter of time before they showed up. I was going to wait until the 200s but I cracked. So here we go.

I realized that I was wasting time with how I was posting the dragons before. I was basically just copying a template over and over for every age of every type of dragon and then changing the descriptor of the breath weapon and immunities. So I’m going to be dropping standard builds for hatchling, juvenile, young, and adult dragons and only build out the old and ancient versions of each type.

So we're starting with hatchlings. Hatchling dragons are about human size and are about the only time a regular person has a bit of a chance of killing a dragon. In my world, though, its rare to see one without a parent around so most of them reach juvenile age where they start to become the monsters we all know and love.

Abilities 28 + Skills 9 (18 ranks) + Advantages 4 + Powers 57 + Defenses 10 = 108 / 108

Comments: Last time I did dragons, I had 5 stages: hatching, young, adult, old and ancient. I decided lower hatchling so slid another level between hatchling and young, the juvenile.

These are the dragons that may or may not having mom and pop looking out for them still, but they have becoming effective hunters and can cause big problems for lower level parties or small towns that don’t have much in the way of protection.

Reputation: THE monsters of the world.
Vulnerable: Dragons are vulnerable to effects that are in direct opposition to their elemental breath weapon, taking an extra degree of failure against them.

Abilities 40 + Skills 13 (26 ranks) + Advantages 9 + Powers 96 + Defenses 15 = 173 / 173

Comments: Now we’re getting into real dragon territory. Young Dragons are able to take out tons of foes and feed on pretty much any normal animal and most magical ones. They can easily handle a low level party and even parties close to it’s level are in for a good fight.

Abilities 48 + Skills 18 (36 ranks) + Advantages 9 + Powers 133 + Defenses 17 = 225 / 225

Comments: Now here are the dragons most people see. Full grown, full set of draconic powers adult dragon. A cone area effect that can take out tons of foes, strength that can easily break through castle walls and big as a city bus.

I was looking at the size charts and decided I want my dragons to be bigger than I originally had them sized, so an adult dragon gets 10 ranks of Growth, old dragons are getting 12 and ancients and elder dragons (dragonlords) are getting 14 ranks. In the D&D setting, great wyrms can grow up to 100 ft so there might be some NPC types that will have some like 16-18 ranks of growth, but those will be few and far between.

This is last “generic” dragon build. The old and ancients will be built with the full dragon type set of abilities and powers for their type since those are probably the ones that I would use most, especially those that get ported over to my superhero settings.

Abilities 56 + Skills 19 (38 ranks) + Advantages 13 + Powers 149 + Defenses 23 = 260 / 260

Comments: Now we’re getting into truly frightening range here. People have to make a DC16 Will check just to avoid running away from these beasts and once they breathe, all hell truly breaks loose.

Fire Dragons are the most common dragons in my setting and they can be found pretty much everywhere, if in far lesser numbers than before the last Great War. They have brown, brownish black, reddish brown/black or pure red scales. They are the closest relatives to the great Alduvian Dragons, who also breathe fire, but these are not nearly as smart, wise, powerful or magical. Although, some ancient Fire Dragons can pick up a nasty trick or two over the years.

Fire Dragons are lethal from birth, able to take on groups of new adventurers and hold their own with most natural predators in the animal kingdom. As they mature, they become exponentially more powerful to where ancient Fire Dragons rival arch-demons and gods in might.

Comments: The top of the line in the normally Gloriant based dragons, the Ancient Fire Dragon. At PL15, these beasts rival the Demon Lords and Greater Gods in power and have enough area attacks to lay waste to entire super teams, epic hero teams and cities. There are only a handful of these monsters left on Gloriant, and everyone is thankful for that.

Power Loss: A Fire Dragon must wait 1-2 rounds (GM rolls 1-10 [2 rounds], 11-20 [1 round]) before using their breath weapon or Flaming Bite again.
Reputation: THE monsters of the world.
Vulnerable: Fire Dragons are vulnerable to cold based effects, taking an extra degree of failure against them.

Abilities 54 + Skills 16 (32 ranks) + Advantages 13 + Powers 222 + Defenses 27 = 332 / 332

Comments: And the big daddies, the Ancient Frost Dragons. Major nasty. A rank 14 blast combined with a freezing you in place affliction? Way nasty.

Comments: The baddest of the Swamp Dragons, the ancient ones. Again, not as physically powerful as the Fire or Frost Dragons of Gloriant, but not something to be taken lightly.
