COMPLICATIONS:
Enemy: He hates Quan Chi for being the one that actually killed him and his family.
Monstrous Appearance: Without his mask, he's a skeleton-faced undead guy.
Rivalry: Sub-Zero. They were enemies for a good while as Scorpion blamed Sub-Zero I for killing his family, but now that he's learned otherwise, their relationship is more civil, but not friendly.

Abilities 70 + Skills 21 (42 ranks) + Advantages 20 + Powers 39 + Defenses 17 = 167 / 167

Build Comments: For my Earth-FG “beta” I didn’t see how I couldn’t have Scorpion as one of the characters to start with. It’s really debatable as to whether he or Sub-Zero are the truest icon of the MK series. Well, outside of Jarek, obviously…

It will be interesting to see how he performs against the superhero fighters I’ll be testing with. I’m still not sure on his C’MERE! Mechanic so it will be interesting to see how it works.

Motivation: Winning the Iron Fist tournament to gain enough monetary means to help his orphanage and friends.
Relationships: With King I and Armor King I, his mentors. He has also forged a friendship with Craig Marduk.
Rivalry: With Armor King II and Ogre.

Abilities 66 + Skills 12 (24 ranks) + Advantages 19 + Powers 3 + Defenses 13 = 113 / 113

Build Comments: King is one of the more recognizable characters from the fighting game genre. He’s known for his wrestling style, performing many familiar wrestling moves like power bombs, backbreakers, suplexes and DDT’s.

At first, I thought he really was a jaguar man, but it’s really just a luchadore style mask. That doesn’t explain why he just growls, though. Or why Armor King, who wears a similar, tiger-motif mask, just growls either. And how they are able to subtitle those growls…

He was a fun build, compared to the strikers and blasters I’ve been building during this run. I covered his throws with some grab-based damage and I gave him several advantages that should help him succeed. Grabbing is much harder to accomplish in 3E now that you can oppose with Dodge. If I keep getting the results I’ve been getting recently, I may have to house rule that out.

Abilities 66 + Skills 19 (38 ranks) + Advantages 21 + Powers 6 + Defenses 13 = 125 / 125

Build Comments: More Tekken stuff. Hwoarang is a cocky young fighter has a bit of a rivalry with Jin, although he’s probably not really in Jin’s class overall as a fighter, he’s close, though, and fights between them should be pretty even.

Secret Origins: Born in South Korea, a cocky student of Baek Doo San and extremely proficient in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do, Hwoarang used his skills to gamble in street fights with his other gang members. During these street fights, Hwoarang would lure his opponents in by sending his gang members to pose as weaker fighters. Once his gang members had been defeated, Hwoarang would enter and defeat his opponents to win the money at stake.

The Story so Far: One day, Hwoarang lured in an opponent by the name of Jin Kazama and they fought to a draw. This was the first time Hwoarang did not outright win a match and he immediately rushed to his master to tell him the news. Upon arriving at Baek Doo San's dojo, Hwoarang finds that his master had been slain by Ogre, The God of Fighting. Hwoarang enters The King Of Iron Fist Tournament 3 to defeat Jin Kazama and to seek revenge for his master's death.

Returning to South Korea, Hwoarang was drafted into the South Korean military and was assigned to a special operations division. Although his successes in various missions were highly regarded along with his prowess at Taekwondo and combat techniques, his penchant for disobeying rules and orders gave his senior officers more than a few headaches. Hwoarang was uninterested in military life and felt a strange emptiness within him. He longingly recalled the days of hustling money in street fights and the rush he experienced from hand-to-hand combat. He often thought of one fight in particular - the fight against Jin Kazama. These longings could not be quelled by the military. One day, Hwoarang found out about the announcement of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4. Hwoarang's blood stirred. He would defeat Jin, Heihachi Mishima, and anyone else who dared to challenge him to claim the Mishima Zaibatsu. Filled with excitement he hasn't felt in years, Hwoarang slipped away from the military base and headed for the Tournament.

The South Korean Army took Hwoarang into custody during the last round of the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, keeping him from his long-awaited fight with Jin Kazama. Upon his arrival at the embassy, Hwoarang is granted an official pardon by the ambassador and is given urgent military papers. Hwoarang immediately flies to South Korea to complete his training, which he completes in time to enter The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, once again hoping get a rematch with Jin Kazama. In The King of Iron Fist Tournament 5, Hwoarang faced Jin and defeated him. While Jin was lying on the ground, suddenly, he roars paranormally and produces a gale that blows Hwoarang away. From Jin's back, two black wings spread, and Jin stands up in his devil form. Hwoarang is at his wits end. He is not able to fight back, and soon he is knocked unconscious.

When Hwoarang wakes up, he finds himself in the hospital. Nearby, he sees Baek, who he thought was killed, standing as a visitor. Hwoarang hears the details from Baek. He ignores his nurse and tries to move from his bed. He falls down in order to beseech Baek to make him stronger. After leaving the hospital, Hwoarang starts training with unprecedented devoutness in order to defeat the "paranormal" Jin. Thus, with the announcement of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6, he prepares for the tournament.

Characterization/Friends and Foes: Hwoarang is a hot-headed, impulsive person who enjoys fighting. He is sometimes cocky and arrogant as he likes to boast about his skills and strength. He still holds his focus on his opponents to not lose himself in his pride. He is very rebellious and does not like to obey orders, but this changes in regard to his master, Baek, whom he dearly respects. Hwoarang tends to hold a grudge towards his enemies, and he has a strong sense of determination to fight his rivals, especially Jin Kazama.

Relationships: His is close to his brother, Lars and despite their occasional differences, he an ally of Jin. He is also close to Alisa.
Rivalry: With his adopted brother, Kazyuya.

    Abilities 84 + Skills 28 (56 ranks) + Advantages 40 + Powers 5 + Defenses 10 = 167 / 167

Build Comments: Lee is one of my favorite characters in the series and I can see using him in storylines and games because of his style. Flamboyant and much more of skill monkey than the rest of the Mishima clan, he would make a great behind the scenes character for PCs to work with, or against, depending on which side of the complex Mishima family battle that they end up on.

As such, my build of him is not as much focused on his fighting but being a more well-rounded NPC-ish character. As a full PL8, he can hold his own with top tier fighters for a while, but that’s not where he’s meant to be anymore. He’s meant to use his resources and contacts to take the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation down in a less violent manner.

Secret Origins: Lee's parents died when he was a young child, leaving him to fend for himself on the streets. Facing a hostile environment each day, he quickly became a skilled scrapper with reflexes that were amazing for a boy of his age. It was these qualities that caught the eye of Heihachi, who witnessed Lee fighting off several other kids while on a business trip. Impressed by Lee's street-fighting skill, Heihachi decided to adopt Lee. Heihachi then took Lee Chaolan back to Japan to be educated.

Heihachi never actually felt any emotion towards Lee; the real purpose was to give Kazuya a rival to inspire him to shape up. Their combat skill is equal, but those who know Lee's power fear the "Silver-Haired Demon".

Pertaining to Heihachi Mishima as his adopted son, Lee Chaolan was entitled to the Mishima Zaibatsu just as much as Kazuya Mishima. It was only after the events of Tekken 2 that Lee sidetracked from the central plot of Tekken saga, though still retaining a strong affiliation.

The Story so Far: Both Lee and Heihachi were defeated by Kazuya Mishima, who then took charge of the Mishima Zaibatsu. He was forced to serve Kazuya as his underling, leading the Tekken Force and handling menial matters to his utter chagrin. Lee was later approached by Wang Jinrei who warned him about Kazuya, and asked his help in returning honor to the Mishima Zaibatsu. Lee instead chooses to help his boss by delaying Heihachi long enough for Jun Kazama to defeat the Devil that was possessing Kazuya.

Then, Kazuya opens The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2. This time, Lee faced his adopted father, Heihachi Mishima, who was quite angry with him for helping his traitor son, Kazuya. Heihachi then defeated Lee Chaolan quite easily.

For quite some time, thoughts of revenge consumed Lee. Eventually, he realized that it was pointless to kill an old man, who probably had only a few years left in his life at best. With that realization, Lee distanced himself from fighting and moved into a mansion in the Bahamas to lead a solitary life.

One day, he discovered a huge sell-off of G Corporation's stock online. Lee's intuition told him that something happened within the company. His intuition was correct. He hacked into their classified computer network and accessed their internal corporate communications. Lee learned that the Mishima Zaibatsu attacked G Corporation and caused significant damage to their research facilities.

He also came across information that a new life form under development by the Mishima Zaibatsu would be completed by next year. In order to complete the life form, however, it appeared that they were missing a critical component...

Oddly enough, an announcement was made for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 around the same time. Lee's fading passion for fighting was rekindled - along with his resentment towards the Mishima clan.

In order to prevent the Mishima Zaibatsu from discovering his true identity, Lee signed up for the Tournament online under a false name, Violet. As additional measures to mask his identity, he dyed his gleaming silver hair purple, wore a pair of sunglasses, and donned violet clothes.

Lee entered the previous tournament in disguise to defeat Heihachi. However, it turned out to be Kazuya who was dead from the 2nd King of Iron Fist Tournament. Lee lost to Kazuya, his fight, focus and the tournament.

With his master's death, Lee plans to take the Zaibatsu, but he was too late. He mutters that Kazuya always gets in his way.

A month later the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 was announced, Lee was determined to have a rematch against Kazuya and take the Zaibatsu from him.

Upon being beaten by Lars and Alisa, despite unaware that Lars was his adopted half-brother, Lee becomes impressed in Alisa and decide to cooperate with Lars since they have a same motifs against Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation, and giving him an advice about the two organization's other schemes. He is soon called by Julia, who is trapped inside some of G Corp's branch while investigating G Corp's schemes until she is ambushed and locked inside the lab by the G Corp soldiers, and her signal jammed to call Lee. Lee then asked Lars and Alisa to rescue Julia and escape.

After Jin revealed his true motives to kill Azazel then sacrifice himself for the sake of humanity from the Devil Gene's reign of curse, he was entrusted by Lars to repair Alisa's programming.

Characterization/Friends and Foes: Lee is more charismatic and joyful than the rest of his adoptive family. Lee hates Heihachi and constantly plots to either humiliate or kill him. Heihachi adopted Lee purely for him to be an obstacle for Kazuya. Whilst the two are aware of this, Lee and Kazuya have had an ongoing rivalry for years. Lars is his adoptive brother and ally. He is on good terms with Jin, aiding him in his quest to destroy Heihachi and Kazuya.

    KOMPLIKATIONS:
    Enemy: Sonya Blade and Jax.
    Motivation: Greed and survival.
Responsibility: To the Black Dragon Clan.

    Abilities 74 + Skills 23 (46 ranks) + Advantages 23 + Powers 15 + Defenses 13 = 148 / 148

Build Comments: I always thought Kano was kinda lame. And then I proved it by using him in MK 2011 and getting my ass handed to me by Smoke. SMOKE! I’d rather have lost to Sektor…

But Kano out of game is pretty cool. He’s a liar, schemer and most of all, a survivor. He’ll play anyone, anytime, to achieve his goals and that makes him an antagonist you can throw into any setting and he works.

Secret Origins: Little is known of Kano’s earlier life before rising to the top of the Black Dragon organization. It is known that at some point he was responsible for death of Sonya Blade’s partner.

The Story so Far: Kano is the leader of the Black Dragon organization, a criminal empire of cut-throat madmen. When first seen, he freed fellow Black Dragon cohorts No Face, Tasia, Jarek and Tremor from a U.S. Special Forces security facility, under the pretense that they would reform the Black Dragon organization. In reality, he intended to use them as pawns to slow down any Special Forces agents who might pursue him. Annihilating an entire squad at the site of the prison break, he and his cohorts escaped.

With his Black Dragon associates given their assigned tasks, Kano headed to Outworld where he recovered the Eye of Chitian, an artifact through which he would acquire incredible power. Unfortunately for him, however, Major Jackson Briggs had overcome his accomplices and caught up to him. The two fought, and Kano was defeated. Jax used the Eye to transport them back to Earthrealm, and proceeded to bring Kano into custody, though Kano escaped soon after.

Kano entered Shang Tsung's Mortal Kombat tournament after hearing rumors that Tsung's palace was filled with gold and other riches: Kano intended to steal them for the Black Dragon. At that time, the Black Dragon was the primary target of the U.S. Special Forces and would remain so for a number of years. He was pursued by Lt. Sonya Blade, who held a personal grudge against Kano because he had killed her former partner. While Kano was free to take part in the tournament of his own accord, Sonya and her unit were captured by Shang Tsung's minions. Tsung offered Sonya an ultimatum: compete in Mortal Kombat, or she and her unit would be executed. If she won, they would all be free to go. Sonya and Kano survived the tournament but many others died, including Sonya's men. After the final battle between Shang Tsung and Liu Kang, Kano teamed up with Sonya and Johnny Cage to fight Goro. During the battle, the island began to crumble because of Shang Tsung's defeat and before they knew it, Kano and Sonya found themselves in a forest in Outworld. They were found and captured by Shang Tsung.

During the next tournament, Sonya was rescued by Jax who subsequently arrested Kano, but before he could be taken back into custody, he escaped once again to Outworld.

Although most Earthrealm warriors assumed Kano to be dead, he instead managed to save his own life by convincing Shao Kahn to accept him as a weapons instructor for his armies. As a man with a knowledge of Earthrealm weaponry, he was the most suitable candidate. Later, Sonya tossed Kano to his surmised death from the roof of a high building, but he was found by Motaro, who healed and imprisoned him. After Motaro was attacked and killed by Sheeva, Kano was freed from his prison. He and Sheeva hatched a plan to murder Shao Kahn, but Kano turned on Sheeva in the decisive moments and Sheeva was left at the mercy of the emperor. Due to this Kano was then hastily promoted to general of Outworld's rapidly shrinking army.

Eventually Kahn's forces were defeated. Earthrealm was free, and so was Edenia. Shao Kahn's act of promoting Kano, however, proved to be a lucky shot, as Kano was a very competent general. Even in the face of overwhelming odds and the tactical mastership of Princess Kitana and her Edenian-Shokan army, Kano stood ground and eventually managed to repel the invading army.

Characterization: A Mercenary, Thug, Extortionist Thief - Kano lives a life of crime and injustice. He is a devoted member of the Black Dragon, a dangerous group of Cut-Throat Madmen feared and respected throughout all of crime's Inner Circles.

Friends and Foes: Kano has a fierce rivalry with Sonya Blade.

Responsibility: To the Black Dragon clan.

    Abilities 60 + Skills 12 (24 ranks) + Advantages 11 + Powers 13 + Defenses 9 = 105 / 105

Build Comments: I haven’t seen much of Kira in gameplay but as previously noted, I am working on building up the Black Dragon clan so she gets a statting. I see her more as a manipulator than fighter, but she still hits her caps in most places and can hang with most of the MK fighters for at least a little bit.

Secret Origins/The Story so Far Living in the mountains of Afghanistan, Kira disguised herself as a man, and sold weapons to terrorist organizations. During one such transaction in a cave, her gender was revealed, and she had no choice but to fight her way out. Emerging victorious, she encountered Kabal, who had been waiting outside to behold the victor. He had decided to reconstitute the Black Dragon, and observing how Kira conducted herself in executing her misdeeds in a cold and calculated fashion, he was reminded of the Red Dragon, the organization from which the Black Dragon split. Since the Black Dragon did not have this presence, Kabal offered to make Kira his first recruit. Accepting, Kira devoted herself to her new organization.

Characterization: Kira is a ruthless and ambitious, allowing her to rise up quickly through the ranks of the Black Dragon Clan.

Friends and Foes: She is often paired with Kobra so she feels some (not a lot) of responsibility for him and she is loyal to Kabal, who recruited her into the clan.

    KOMPLIKATIONS:
Motivation: Proving himself as a fighter by beating up and/or killing anyone he can.
Responsibility: To the Black Dragon clan.

    Abilities 50 + Skills 21 (42 ranks) + Advantages 10 + Powers 6 + Defenses 10 = 97 / 97

Build Comments: The mighty Kobra has finally made it to the J-Mart shelves. Man, he sucks. I watched some playthroughs and read up on him and he does nothing for me at all other than serve to be a punching bag for other fighters I like. Or even ones I don’t like. I may have made him too capable, really, but my floor right now is PL7 so that’s where he lands. I may have to lower that floor, though...

Secret Origins/The Story so Far: For years, Kobra wondered whether his martial arts training would work in a real fight. Even though he has been practicing his skills at his New York City karate school, no one was allowed to really hurt each other. So, he went to New York's back alleys in order for him to put his skills to the test.

At first, he started on street gangs. Then, he went to gangbangers and drug dealers. The thrill and excitement of fighting started to consume him, and he started killing his opponents. He continued his killing streak and added looting to his list when he robbed convenience stores and gas stations. Eventually, the New York Police Department caught him. At this point, Kobra had no clue as to how many lives he had destroyed.

When Kobra was being taken downtown, he heard gunfire and officers shouting. Kabal and Kira had found out about him and came to induct him into the new Black Dragon syndicate. After killing the officers and escaping, Kabal took Kira and Kobra to Outworld, where they worked for Havik, the cleric of Chaos who had brought Kabal back from the brink of death.

He later fights Taven, protecting a bridge with Kira in the Botan Jungle that Taven needs to cross. Kira abandons Kobra as he starts battling the newcomer, eventually escaping after he fails to stop him.

Characterization: Kobra is arrogant and sure that is going to become, if he isn’t already, the best martial artist there is.

Friends and Foes: He often works with Kira, although the two don’t share much in common other than their responsibilities to the Black Dragon Clan.

    KOMPLIKATIONS:
    Enemy: Shao Kahn.
Monstrous Appearance: He was horribly disfigured by an attack from Shao Kahn.
Responsibility: To the Black Dragon syndicate.
Weakness: He not only wears his mask to kover his scars, he also wears it to help him breathe. Without it, konsider all his abilities impaired and he will become disabled and could eventually die without some means to assist his respiration.

    Abilities 58 + Skills 17 (34 ranks) + Advantages 17 + Powers 15 + Defenses 12 = 119 / 119

Build Comments: I really like Kabal’s look. That mask and hook swords are a cool design. I haven’t fought with him yet but his move set is pretty slick. He kinda got screwed in the new timeline, but again, I think they’re just trying move on from some characters and develop a new set to move the series forward.

Secret Origins: For many years, Kabal was a loyal member of the Black Dragon clan, until one day Shao Kahn broke the sacred rules of Mortal Kombat to instigate an invasion and took Earthrealm by force. When Kahn began stealing souls, Kabal was spared from this gruesome fate because he was one of Earthrealm's chosen warriors, destined to fight against Shao Kahn.

The Story so Far: Seeing all chosen warriors as a threat to his dominance, Shao Kahn ordered his extermination squads to annihilate him. Kabal managed to escape, but his face was left forever scarred, irreparably mutilated, and forced to rely on a respirator due to his windpipe being slit. The events of Shao Kahn's invasion had profoundly changed Kabal; he left behind his life of crime with the Black Dragon and vowed to become a force for good.

After the 4th Mortal Kombat tournament, Kabal was wounded severely in battle by Mavado, a leading member of the Red Dragon, who hoped to wipe out the Black Dragon. Mavado then took Kabal's trademark Hookswords as a trophy. At the brink of death Kabal met Havik, who restored him and saved his life, and then instructed him to bring back the Black Dragon as a force of anarchy and decay. In spite of his previous experiences fighting alongside his Earthrealm comrades against Shao Kahn's hordes and his vow to help put an end to crime and injustice, he followed Havik's instructions seemingly without hesitation.

Later on Kabal travelled back to Earthrealm were he confronted Mavado once more, and regained his Hookswords. In Earthrealm he recruited two more members for the Black Dragon, Kira and Kobra.

While his reason for recruiting Kira and Kobra as the newest members of the Black Dragon was basically to fill the void left behind by his apparently deceased comrades, Kabal had ulterior motives. Seeing as how the complacency of the former members led to the demise of his clan, Kabal wanted to ensure that his newest recruits were truly worthy of the Black Dragon. He tested their prowess in battle against the enemies of the Dragon King.

Since the takeover of the Black Dragon by the Red Dragon clan, he now works for them.

Characterization: Kabal is a dangerous foe and is ruthless in battle. However, he is honorable and loyal to his allies.

Friends and Foes: Kabal is loyal to Kano and the Red Dragon clan.

Responsibility: To the Black Dragon clan.

    Abilities 58 + Skills 17 (34 ranks) + Advantages 12 + Powers 16 + Defenses 10 = 113 / 113

Build Comments: I just can’t help it. I..I..like Jarek. There, I said it!

He sucks, but I really like the punk and apparently the MK folks do, too. They keep trying to kill him off and he keeps coming back and they even used him in the MKX comic series a couple of years ago. I am really tempted to pump him up a bit to make him more of a threat to the MK folks, but he is a jobber, period. I’m sticking with PL7, even though he’s probably better (at least to me) than Kira and Kobra who are PL7. Jarek needs to lose but he needs some good old GM fiat to somehow survive certain death and come back to irritate the heroes time and time again.

Secret Origins/The Story so Far:: Jarek was first seen being freed by Kano along with the other Black Dragon members (No Face, Tasia and Tremor) from a United States Special Forces detention facility. Kano proposed them to reform the Black Dragon clan, but he merely wished to use them as pawns in order to slow down any Special Forces agents who may have been following him. Jarek was stationed as head of security at a downtown office which the clan was using as a front for their activities. While he was there, he was confronted by Major Jackson Briggs on the building's helipad. Jarek was defeated, and Jax believed that he had killed the Black Dragon warrior, but Jarek survived. He was the only Black Dragon member aside from Kano to survive an encounter with the Major.

Later, Jarek fled to Edenia after learning of Kano's apparent death. Thought to be the last surviving member of the Black Dragon, he was pursued by Lt. Sonya Blade and Jax who were seeking to destroy the last remnants of the clan forever. However, seeing that Earthrealm faced the threat of Shinnok's invasion during this period, they decided to focus their attention on the new threat, and Jarek agreed to help his sworn enemies defeat this common foe. After the destruction of Shinnok's forces, he resisted allowing himself to be turned over to the Special Forces. He erased his trail but Jax found him and threw him off a cliff.

Jarek survived the fall by driving his weapon into the ravine side, slowing down his fall enough so that he only ended up gravely injured. Using his presumed demise as a cover, Jarek went into hiding and began to master new fatality techniques in order to exact revenge on his adversaries.

Jarek made his reappearance storming the deathmatch fight club that Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs are in, Jarek works alongside fellow Black Dragon Tasia and they slaughter the crowds with little effort. Jarek and Tasia then corner Cassie and Jacqui outside the club and witnesses them run headfirst into a portal to Outworld.

Jarek joins with Tasia, Tremor, and Kano in venturing to Outworld to aid Kotal Kahn in the coming battle with the Shokan.

After the Shokan hordes are defeated and swayed back to Kotal Kahn's side, Jarek stands with Kano, Tasia and Tremor as the Black Dragon leader tries to swindle pay from Kotal Kahn. Shortly after, all four are captured and taken away to the palace dungeon for their role in Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs kidnapping.

Characterization: Ambitious and ruthless, Jarek has shown to be a survivor and looks like to become a leader in the Black Dragon clan, no matter what it takes.

Friends and Foes: He remains loyal to Kano and his Clan and has a great enmity towards the Special Forces group.

    DEFENSES:
    Dodge +9 [DC19] Parry +9 [DC19]
Toughness +4 (+2 without Defensive Roll), Fortitude +5, Will +4

    KOMPLIKATIONS:
Responsibility: To the Black Dragon clan.

    Abilities 46 + Skills 17 (34 ranks) + Advantages 11 + Powers 11 + Defenses 11 = 96 / 96

Build Comments: Tasia was a forgotten character from the MK Special Forces games, which is widely considered the worst game in the series. She does hold the distinction of being the first female boss in the MK series, even if she kinda sucked.

She wasn’t heard from again until the MKX comic where she has a couple of appearances, fueling rumors that she would be in the game. She wasn’t, and shouldn’t be, but I do love how the creators don’t shy away from the crappy characters they’ve done and seem to be trying to give them all a little love, either in the comics or in cutscenes, in the rebooted universe.

And you know me, I loves me some jobbers, so I had to whip her up for some enterprising hero to beat down.

Secret Origins/The Story so Far: Tasia is a ninja master member of the Black Dragons. She, alongside Jarek, break into the deathmatch fight club where Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs are, and proceeds to slaughter the crowds of people. Tasia and Jarek follow the fleeing girls outside into an alleyway where she tells Cassie that the Black Dragon 'request' her presence. When the girls run away from Tasia and Jarek, the two Black Dragons witness them flee straight into a portal.

Tasia joins with Jarek, Tremor, and Kano in Outworld to help fight with Kotal Kahn and his warriors against the Shokan.

After the Shokan horde is defeated, Tasia stands with the rest of the Black Dragon as Kano attempts to force Kotal Kahn to pay for their services. The four warriors are soon captured and taken away to prison for their involvment in Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs' kidnapping.

They have since been freed on a technicality and continue to work with Kano to expand the new Red Dragon clan after they Black Dragon clan was taken over by them.

    KOMPLIKATIONS:
    Motivation: Tremor wants power.
Responsibility: He is currently a member of The Red Dragon Clan, but is questioning their motives and his own loyalty.
Rivalry: He has no love lost for The Special Forces team, although the has respect for them.

    Abilities 60 + Skills 14 (28 ranks) + Advantages 17 + Powers 29 + Defenses 13 = 133 / 133

Build Comments: Tremor was initially just another palette swap ninja that appears as an ally of Kano in the Special Forces game. Didn’t really hear much from him again until MKX, when his potential was picked up on by some of the developers. He works his way into the comics and then became a DLC character. And he’s actually pretty cool. His powers are very nice visually and he comes across as more of a thoughtful antagonist that you can see possibly switching sides or becoming an even bigger threat to everyone.

Secret Origins/The Story so Far: Tremor announces the Black Dragon's presence by slamming his fist into the floor of the ruined palace of Z'Unkahrah, tearing it apart with an earthquake; and successfully drawing the attention of Kotal Kahn and his warriors.

Tremor joins with the united Black Dragon clan and Outworld forces in confronting the Shokan/Oni Warlord horde. When negotiations with Kintaro fail once again, Kano sends Tremor out alone to confront the army. Placing his hands on the ground, Tremor causes a massive quake that incapacitates the horde and allows Kano to wipe out half their numbers with a handheld nuke.

After Kotal Kahn successfully sways Kintaro and the Shokan back to his side, Tremor stands with Kano, Jarek, and Tasia as the Black Dragon leader attempts to negotiate payment from the usurper. When Kotal attacks Kano for possessing his realm's treasure, the Portal Stone, Tremor threatens to bring down the palace if Kano is not released when his shoulder and arm are shot by Sonya Blade. Tremor is then captured and imprisoned alongside his comrades.

Characterization/Friends and Foes: Tremor has the power of an Earth elemental. He can create earthquakes, form stone and lava projectiles and shape the ground to suit him. His current state with Kano's Red Dragon clan of arms dealers is unknown, as a recent mission seems to have created much animosity in Tremor towards both Special Forces and Kano.

He can invent tons of crap and anything involving Technology that he can Take 10 on is going to be +30. And he can hold his own with similar level powerhouses so he’ll fulfill his normal role with a PC level Avengers team.

    Post by Thorpocalypse »

We've got another of our top selling items as we continue to add to our PC Line!

    Image
Something else Ben used to say..."With great power comes great responsibility." I learned the truth of that one the hard way...right here. An accident at the science hall gave me my powers--but in that old warehouse, I truly learned what it means to be Spider-Man. And now it's gone. But Jonah was right, it won't be forgotten. I can never forget. This site will always be a reminder of my responsibilities...my great responsibilities. I'm trying, Uncle Ben...and I'll always keep trying. That's my promise. - Peter Parker

Build Comments: Man, Pete was HARD to squeeze into a playable format, but I got it done. Still not quite happy with some things, but I’m sure if I sit back and ruminate on this a bit, I’ll see where I can make some improvements. I had to sacrifice a bit on his science and technology skills for this version, but I may go back and tweak his Skills more to get some more points for them.
