COMPLICATIONS:
Enemy: Spider-Man, Venom, Anti-Venom.
Insanity: Cletus was already a pretty whacked out serial killer before the symbiote attached and now he is just an evil murder machine.
Power Loss: Without his powers, he loses all powers and his abilities drop to STR 2, STA 3, AGL 2, FGT 6.
Vulnerable: The Carnage symbiote is particularly vulnerable to fire and sonic effects. He takes one additional degree of effect against fire and two degrees against sonic effects. Since Anti-Venom’s webbing is derived from himself itself, excessive use can weaken the him, rendering his powers impaired, disabled, and finally debilitated

Abilities 88 + Skills 20 (40 ranks) + Advantages 10 + Powers 95 + Defenses 4 = 217 / 217

Build Comments: I never really got Carnage but I figured since I was working on Eddie and Flash, I might as well whip him up. He’s basically the same as Venom, but he’s stronger, regenerates better and a bit more deadly overall. But the whole serial killer turned superhuman serial killer doesn’t do much for me. Very 90’s, for sure.

Secret Origins: Cletus Kasady had a troubled childhood. He killed his grandmother by pushing her down a flight of stairs, and tortured his mother's dog. Afterward, his father apparently killed his mother, and received no defense from Kasady during his trial. As an orphan, Kasady was sent to the St. Estes Home for Boys, where his antisocial behavior made him the target of abuse from both the other orphans and the staff. Kasady gained revenge by murdering the disciplinarian administration, pushing a girl who refused a date with him in front of a bus and burning down the orphanage.

Homicidal maniac Cletus Kasady was serving eleven consecutive prison terms when an opportunity for early parole presented itself in the form of his new cell mate: Eddie Brock, human host to a symbiotic costume once worn by Peter Parker. Monster and man had merged to become the villainous Edward Brock Venom, but Brock was separated from the alien during a battle with the web-slinger. While Brock waited for the symbiote to spring him from prison, Kasady entertained him with his homicidal philosophy on life: Even the average person can commit murder, if only he has the courage.

As anticipated, the Venom symbiote attempted to free Brock by inciting a destructive jailbreak. Unknown to its human host, the alien was pregnant. It gave birth during the disastrous rescue. Left behind in the midst of the riot that ensued, the symbiote's spawn bonded with Kasady. Empowered far beyond the levels of Spider-Man and Venom, he escaped prison, and began a series of murders, and at the scene of each crime, he wrote "Carnage Rules" on the walls with his own blood.

The Story so Far: Embarking on a citywide killing spree, Carnage was confronted by Spider-Man. However, the wall-crawler's amazing arachnid-like abilities were insufficient to subdue the thrice-strong serial killer[1]. Spider-Man was forced to enlist the aid of the Fantastic Four, the greatest team of superhuman adventurers ever assembled. He also sought the assistance of another, more dangerous ally: Venom, his hated foe. But the villain despised its offspring even more, and agreed to help. Facing the combined might of Spider-Man, Venom and the Fantastic Four, Carnage was captured and imprisoned at the Ravencroft Asylum.

After a battle with Venom, Carnage, was about to give birth to another symbiote, he was threatened by its existence and attempted to destroy it. However, Venom wanted to raise and train the new symbiote as an ally and partner. Weakened by the actual birthing, Carnage was unable to kill the newborn. Supplanting the symbiote in Patrick Mulligan, a New York City cop. Venom named the new symbiote Toxin, after himself. Because they knew how powerful Toxin will be, and because his host is a cop, he would most likely be a good guy, thus they made a temporally alliance, but in the end they were defeated.

Despite seemingly being killed when he was ripped apart in low space orbit by The Sentry, Carnage has returned to continue to wreak havoc on the world.

Characterization: Carnage and Cletus were always like minded; they both share a love of killing. Cletus Kasady is in complete control of the symbiote, unlike Eddie Brock who still puts up some fights with his own alien. Unlike Venom, Carnage refers to himself as "I" instead of "we" because Kasady and Carnage have become one being literally to the point that the symbiote lives in his blood. Perhaps due in part to his insanity, Carnage's strength and abilities far exceed those of his predecessors Venom and Spider-Man, and grows with his blood-lust.

Friends and Foes: He has a desire to destroy the other symbiotes and their owners, so he has a great enmity towards Spider-Man, Venom, Anti-Venom and the others.

Reputation: Dumb super powered goon.

Abilities 48 + Skills 9 (18 ranks) + Advantages 7 + Powers 34 + Defenses 10 = 108 / 108

Build Comments: Poor Rhino. His last feature in Amazing Spider-Man a few years back was gut-wrenching. He tries to go straight with the love of a good woman but alas, it is not meant to be. You can see the end coming a mile away but you actually hope that Slott doesn’t do what you know he’s going to. But it happens anyway and even though you knew it would end that way all along, it’s still sad.

I had hoped he might make a face turn, but the world needs super strong jobbers more, I suppose. He appeared to die, happily, trying to drown Silver Sable during Doc Ock’s last big scheme before he swapped places with Peter. But The Jackal brought him back and he's still around the Marvel U, jobbin' like a big man should.

Secret Origins: The Rhino was born as Aleksei Sytsevich, a poor immigrant from Russia who was desperate to pay for the rest of his family and came to the United States in hope of finding work to provide for them. With little education and no real skills, the only paying jobs he could get were using his impressive strength and musculature as an enforcer for various criminal organizations. One day he was contacted by some Eastern Bloc agents, who offered him a vast sum of money for participating in an incredible experiment. Sytsevich agreed, and was subjected to intensive chemical and radioactive treatment, which bonded a super-strong polymer to his skin and greatly augmented his strength and speed. He was given the code name "Rhino," and was sent to work as a super-assassin.

The Story so Far: Rhino's first job was to capture Colonel John Jameson for his military secrets. Although Rhino put on a great fight and was successful at first, he soon came into contact with Spider-Man, whom defeated the Rhino, leading to the super villain's arrest. While Rhino was arrested, the authorities learned that the suit that Aleksei was wearing was in bonded to him and could not be removed. This made him an extremely difficult prisoner to keep locked away. Not much later, The Rhino escaped from prison and established himself as a true super-villain. Rhino had taken on many other jobs over the years and remained steady in the criminal life. This made him come into conflict with Spider-man and many other superheroes over the years. He also joined up with some incarnations of the Sinister Six, in which Rhino's strength played a vital role. Almost every time however, he was defeated and jailed for a longer period of time. He however always managed to escape again, getting more frustrated with Spider-Man and the other heroes and how his life had been affected by the costume. Although Rhino came to hate Spider-Man, he became professional enough not to let personal feelings distract him from a paying job.

Rhino has had two encounters with the mercenary known as Deadpool. Their first encounter, Deadpool managed to shrink Rhino using Pym Particles. Their team-up finished with a huge explosion that seemingly killed Rhino. He actually survived the explosion and later sought out Deadpool once more for revenge. He is then seen humiliating Deadpool by shrinking him via Pym Particles, gluing his head to a key-chain (the same thing Deadpool had done to him during a previous encounter), then made him ride a urinal cake. The Rhino was satisfied by what he had done and the two parted ways... only to have Deadpool turn around and defeat the villain while still small.

A few years ago, Rhino decided to give up his life entirely. He surrendered to the police and plead guilty to all charges against him. S.H.I.E.L.D. painfully removes his Rhino costume, and he is sentenced to 25 years in Ryker's Island. The Russian Mafia and other criminal gangs tried to recruit him, but he denied them all, even going so far as to completely avoid a break-out at one point. For his good behavior and cooperation, he was released early on parole, "in order to make room for worse guys". Upon release, he is met by Doctor Tramma, who wants to re-invent him as an all-new and improved Rhino. Aleksei declined Doctor Tramma's offer and tried to being a new man, dating, and eventually marrying, a waitress named Oksana and residing in a small apartment in Yonkers.

Doctor Tramma eventually used someone else to create a new and improved Rhino. Aleksei felt he needed to face and kill the new Rhino to get rid of him but Spider-Man convinced him to promise otherwise and helped Aleksei keep his new life by defeating the new Rhino. The New Rhino attacked Aleksei at one of J. Jonah Jameson's press meetings. Feeling he could not break this promise to Spider-Man, Aleksei lied to the New Rhino, telling him he will agree to fight him in his suit but he instead goes in hiding with his wife Oksana. However before they arrive at their safehouse the New Rhino attacked again and Oksana died as a result. Aleksei donned his old Rhino suit and charged at the New Rhino who in return charged at Aleksei. With one hit Aleksei completely ruined the New Rhino's suit. Spider-Man begged Aleksei to stop now that the New Rhino's suit was destroyed. Furious at Spider-Man for preventing him from stopping the New Rhino earlier, Rhino responded, "All of this happened because I pretended to be something I am not. I will never forgive you." He then charged at the pleading and helpless New Rhino, killing him. Spider-Man and Norah Winters left sorrowfully as Norah stated that not only is the New Rhino dead, but the man Aleksei Sytsevich was, is as well.

Characterization: Rhino has always had a dimwitted and sort of cheerful personality, and he was usually depicted as the kind of villain who was food at his core but ended up on the wrong side of the law due to the bad choices he made life. However, since Rhino's wife died he has become much more brutal and crazed, his primary goal being to inflict suffering on as much people as he can.

Friends and Foes: Rhino generally works for whoever will pay him, although he has spent lots of time with various incarnations of the Sinister Six. He has a great hatred for Spider-Man, not only for years of defeats but in blaming him for the death of his wife. He also has rivalries with Deadpool, The Punisher and The Hulk.

Being food at his core for what? What could cut through his Rhino suit? What would want to eat him?

I should probably fix that, but after that joke, I think it's better that it is left the way it is. :)

COMPLICATIONS:
Fame: Everyone knows Uncle Sam.
Honor: Uncle Sam believes in truth, justice and the American Way.
Power Loss: If the American people lose their faith (and lord knows half of the country has good reasons to at any point) Uncle Sam loses his powers and his stats drop to STR 2, STA 2, AGL 2, DEX 2, FGT 4.

Abilities 104 + Skills 16 (31 ranks) + Advantages 14 + Powers 20 + Defenses 11 = 165 / 165

Build Comments: Good old Uncle Sam. Seems a bit outdated these days, but he's always a fun character to throw in when faith in the American way is low. And I would say things are pretty low right now so I think he needs a revival.

Secret Origins: Uncle Sam is described as a spiritual entity created through an occult ritual by the Founding Fathers of the United States. This "Spirit of America" was initially bound to a powerful talisman and would take physical form by merging with a dying patriot. The Spirit of America had taken human form as the Minute-Man during the Revolutionary War, Brother Jonathan in later conflicts and, during the American Civil War, had been split in two as Johnny Reb and Billy Yank.

The Story so Far: The Spirit first assumed its now familiar Uncle Sam incarnation in 1870, when it resurrected a political cartoonist who had been killed by Boss Tweed. The second host of Uncle Sam fought in World War I. A third (the character's Golden Age incarnation) was a superhero during World War II, fighting alongside young Buddy Smith. After the Japanese attack on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii brought his country into the war, Sam organized and led the Freedom Fighters and was a member of the All-Star Squadron but vanished at the end of the war. The Spirit was resurrected in a new costumed form called the Patriot during the Imperiex War, but later reverts to Uncle Sam

Characterization: The American Spirit will merge with a dying patriot to manifest physically. Uncle Sam will usurp all memories of the host. The possession is permanent until that Sam chooses voluntarily to leave the body. Uncle Sam's appearance, though occasionally different, remains relatively the same in every year. He always appears as a middle-aged though able-bodied man with white hair and a white beard.

Friends and Foes: He is a devout defender of all Americans and a steadfast foe of their enemies.

Yeah, that is as bad as poor Danny Devito being changed into an M&M. I heard someone say not even Rhea Pearlman would want to eat him!

Happy Fourth,People of 'Merica And other Countries!!!!!

I always liked Uncle Sam.Did you know he's the only one in the DC Universe besides The Phantom Stranger that knows the Marvel Universe exists. It's due to the Ritual that created him..."For as long as there is an America, there too shall be the Spirit Of Freedom..."

Re: 190 - Spider-Man (Peter Parker)

Post by Thorpocalypse »

Made several tweaks to my Spider-Man as I get ready to start working up the Spider Men of the Thorpocamultiverse. Mainly cleaned up some arrays and fixed a few other things that I thought were off. One of the big changes is my changes his Presence to 5, which is a lot higher than most people have had it over the years, but the more I thought about it, the more right it felt.

Spidey at this point has been a hero for years, was the CEO of a multinational company and led an army of hundreds of Spider Man in Spider-Verse. He's made many villains just HATE him over the years and had Doctor Strange and Iron Man admit that "he's the best of us". People either seem to love or hate him and to me, creating a response is what having a high Presence/Charisma score is all about. So I'm good with it. I'm still not sold on the Webbing ranks. I may have to amp him up to 10 and the symbiotes to 11 depending on how it tests the next time (whenever that is). Bane didn't have any problems with it, so 9 ranks might be too low.

You can always tell a Peter Parker build is correct because it's PL 11 and costs over 200 points. Anything else is just inaccurate to the comics- it's hilarious how almost all the builders are alike in that regard :).

Secret Identity: He has a secret identity of Miguel O'Hara.

Abilities 104 + Skills 24 (48 ranks) + Advantages 15 + Powers 72 + Defenses 12 = 227 / 227

Build Comments: I’m not a huge fan of Miguel O’Hara but their costume designs for him have always rocked so I figured I’d make sure he made the first cut of my Spiders. And I think his latest costume really rocks.

As a build, Miguel originally showed a slightly different spider power set than Pete, but since he’s been roaming around the main timeline, he’s seemed to fall in line with a Spider Sense and such. But I’m keeping his original power set where he had no Spider Sense, just some enhanced senses and some other tricks like a healing factor and a paralyzing spider bite.

Secret Origins: Miguel O'Hara was born in New York City of Earth-2112, many years after the end of what his people's history calls the "Heroic Age", which late 20th-early 21st century time of superheroes. He grows up with his mother Conchata, his younger brother Gabriel, and his abusive father George O'Hara. A rebellious boy with prodigy-level intelligence, Miguel is an adolescent when he is awarded enrollment into the Alchemax School for Gifted Youngsters in Westchester, owned by the powerful Alchemax megacorporation which also controls local law enforcement agencies. Here, he befriends Xina Kwan, a girl of similar intelligence who specializes in computers. Xina helps Miguel defend himself against the bully Kron Stone, son of Tyler Stone: Vice President of R&D for Alchemax.

The Story so Far: As adults, Miguel and Xina date seriously until Miguel cheats on her with Dana D'Angelo, who originally is the girlfriend of Miguel's brother Gabe. Later on, Miguel and Dana are engaged. Though seemingly arrogant and confident in all walks of life, Miguel is a very private man and trusts almost no one save for his apartment's holographic aid Lyla, an artificial intelligence programmed by Xina.

Miguel eventually becomes head of the genetics program of Alchemax, intended to create new corporation-controlled super-powered soldiers called "corporate raiders." Miguel is specifically inspired by surviving records concerning Spider-Man and hopes to one day create a similarly powered person. But after a human test subject dies during an early experiment, Miguel tells Tyler Stone he wishes to resign from Alchemax and discontinue his genetics research. Rather than let Miguel leave, Tyler Stone tricks him into taking Rapture, an addictive drug that genetically bonds to the user. Tyler reminds Miguel that only Alchemax is allowed to legally distribute this drug, so if O'Hara does not remain with the corporation then Tyler must assume he is getting the drug from the black market and will be forced to tell the police. Not wishing to be a blackmailed addict, Miguel recalls that he entered his own genetic code into his machine's databanks during initial experiments, using it as a human DNA test sample. Intending to use this older template of his pure genetic code to write over his current biology and free himself from the Rapture, Miguel sneaks into Alchemax and uses the gene alteration machines on himself.

After Miguel turns on the machine to rewrite his DNA, his jealous subordinate Aaron Delgado sabotages the machines, causing them to alter Miguel's genetic code to be "50% spider DNA." Miguel survives the process, but realizes he now has spider-abilities.

Realizing that there is now a person with abilities similar to Spider-Man, Tyler Stone sends agents to hunt this person. To conceal his identity while he fights his pursuers, Miguel dons a bodysuit with a mask that he once wore for the Mexican Day of the Dead festival. Miguel chooses this costume in particular because it is the only clothing he has that is made from "UMF" (Unstable Molecule Fabric), meaning it is the only clothing he owns that will not be torn or shred by the spider-talons that now occupy his hands and feet. After seeing him operate in public, a group of Thorites (worshippers of the Marvel hero Thor) come to believe that Miguel is the legendary Spider-Man back from the dead, and that he is the harbinger of Thor's eventual return.

Originally focused with finding a cure for his condition, Miguel's further adventures as Spider-Man cause him to realize how ignorant of the world he was and how he had turned a blind eye to the oppression and pain the corporations of the world have caused. He is also surprised at the effect his presence has on the people who have been oppressed for so long, particularly his own mother, who ironically also hates the man her eldest son has become, admires the exploits of Spider-Man. After this, Miguel decides to embrace his identity as Spider-Man. Donning his costume, he publicly proclaims himself to be an enemy to all the megacorps, saying he will use his powers to fight for ordinary people against those in power who abuse their influence and authority.

After may adventures, Miguel later learns that Gabe is aware of his dual identity, having recognized Spider-Man's costume from what Miguel wore to the Day of the Dead festival years earlier. Gabe has grown a bit resentful of Miguel's new heroic career, particularly since his girlfriend Kasey seems enamored with the costumed Spider-Man and their previous history with Dana.

After his holographic aid Lyla suffers a serious malfunction, Miguel asks for repairs from his ex-girlfriend Xina. Dana later accuses Miguel of cheating on her with Xina. Miguel becomes angry about this and about Dana's noticeably increasing interest in Tyler Stone. The two dissolve their romantic relationship, and Xina and Miguel become companions again.

Characterization: Miguel has grown from an arrogant young man to not only a great hero but a leader in the superheroic community of his time.

Friends and Foes: He and Xina remain close and in love and he has a good relationship with the superhero community. His greatest foe remains his long time rival Tyler Stone and Alchemax.

Abilities 100 + Skills 24 (48 ranks) + Advantages 11 + Powers 58 + Defenses 10 = 203 / 203

Build Comments: I read the first couple of issues of the new Scarlet Spider book with now cured and (mostly) sane Kaine now taking over the role and it’s not too bad. It's your basic former bad boy tries to find his way story, but the action has been good and it's interesting watching someone who looks like Pete not be like Pete except for trying to help. I'm interested to see how this series goes now, I think I am going to add it to my pull list.

Kaine lost a lot of his powers including his spider-sense and I couldn't tell if he lost his Mark of Kaine thing, so I took it off, since I never liked it anyway. He did get the stinger things and organic webbing and kept his claws so he has more options in melee but not is not nearly as skilled overall as Pete or even Ben. He did swipe Pete's Stealth Suit, so that will come in handy for him, I'm sure.

Secret Origins: The clone that would come to be known as Kaine was the Jackal's first attempt at cloning Peter Parker. Initially thought to be a success, Kaine eventually became deformed due to a flaw in the cloning process. As he continued to degenerate, he was left further deformed and mentally unstable

The Jackal allowed Kaine to live as a test subject, to see how long the clone would survive; it ended up far exceeding his expectations. As a result, Kaine experienced a strong feeling of rejection like that which might arise between a father and son. Kaine left Professor Warren and realized that the partial degeneration had also caused a slight amplification of the powers he had genetically 'inherited' from Peter. His strength, speed, stamina, and agility were comparable to those of Peter, but he also gained precognitive powers as well, which shows him flashes of the future (this new ability has been assumed to be an amplified version of Peter's spider-sense). He also possessed a "Mark of Kaine," a corrosive touch that he used to leave eaten-away hand-prints on his victims' faces.

The Story so Far: The Jackal went on to create another clone, the man who would become Ben Reilly. When the Jackal used Reilly against Peter, the ensuing battle left Reilly and the Jackal (really a clone of Warren) for dead. They both managed to survive; the Jackal placed himself into suspended animation in a cloning pod to awaken later, and Reilly left New York upon realizing that he was the clone.

Behind the scenes, Norman Osborn managed to have the files on Ben and Peter switched, so that the Jackal would think Peter was the clone and Ben was the real deal. Consulting the Jackal's files, Kaine believed the same, so he followed Ben Reilly throughout his 'exile'. For a time, Kaine found love in the arms of police detective Louise Kennedy of Salt Lake City, but when he discovered she was working for the criminals, Kaine's increased cellular degeneration pushed him even further towards insanity.

After killing Louise (although a part of him still loved her), Kaine continued to stalk Ben, making it appear as though Janine Godbe, the woman Ben had come to love, had committed suicide and then framed Ben for various murders that Kaine had committed, as Kaine and Ben had the same fingerprints. Kaine hoped that by doing this, he would be able to give Peter, whom he still believed to be the clone, the life which Kaine could never have.

When Ben returned to New York to visit a sick Aunt May (later revealed to be a genetically-altered actress), Kaine followed. After several encounters with his “brothers” and a long criminal history, Kaine finally turned his life around and began assisting Peter and other heroes while starting to build a life for himself.

During the Grim Hunt, Kaine was attacked by Alyosha and Ana Kravinoff for being associated with spiders. However, seeing that he wasn't a true spider, the duo decided to punish him by keeping him alive. Nevertheless, they wounded Kaine severely enough that he fled to Peter Parker's apartment in search of help. Peter hid him in the bathroom, then left to stop the Kravinoffs. When Kaine next appeared, he had shaved his face and cut his hair, and resembled Peter (albeit with a badly scarred face). When Spider-Man was 'killed' while resurrecting Kraven, it was discovered that it was actually Kaine in disguise, and that he had given his life to save Peter.

At the end of the Grim Hunt, Kaine was buried as a Parker, but was later seen rising from the dead with mutated features, including extra eyes in a spider-like pattern on his forehead, with the Jackal saying "Rise, cursed one. Rise... Tarantula." Kaine was then further changed by the Jackal into a tarantula-like creature, with his face resembling that of a spider, as well as six red eyes, and four spider-legs growing from his back.

The Jackal made him the first of his army of individuals to use during the Spider-Island event. Kaine, however, followed the Jackal merely because he was under his control. In his final confrontation with the original, Spider-Man threw him into a tank filled with "the cure", a concentration of Anti-Venom's symbiote, which was intended to help cure the people of Spider-Island. The cure did more than return Kaine from being a monster, it also stabilized his DNA and made him a perfect clone of Peter Parker, similar to Ben Reilly. Kaine then helped with the retaliation against the Spider Queen, Adriana Soria, in Central Park, moving past Peter Parker's ethical limitations by using lethal force against the Queen.

Kaine left New York after the Spider-Island event. Earning money from both stopping robbers and committing robberies, Kaine started a trip around the USA to enter Mexico. During his stay in Houston, Texas, he saved a young girl, Aracely, from human traffickers and left her in a hospital. A super-powered villain came after Aracely, and Kaine felt that he had to save her instead of leaving Houston. In a scarlet suit similar to Spider-Man's, Kaine faced the Salamander and managed to defeat him, being named by him as "Araña Escarlata" ('Scarlet Spider' in Spanish). When the people at the scene cheered him and told them they needed a hero, Kaine's sense of responsibility for Aracely led him to stay in Houston as Scarlet Spider.

In subsequent adventures, Kaine found himself pitted against the Assassins Guild, the Watchdogs, and Ana Kravinoff, who tried to kill him in order to free her father from the curse of immortality. He joined a version of the New Warriors for a time and currently remains as the main super heroic protector of Houtson.

Kaine was attacked by Daemos of the Inheritors, who easily defeated the New Warriors. Pinned down, Kaine impaled Daemos with numerous spines, and Daemos recognized him as the current reciprocal of the Other. Before Daemos could drain Kaine, Old Man Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Bullet Points Spider-Man, and Ben Reilly from Earth-T94 arrived. After seeing Gwen, he thought this was the Jackal's making until being shocked from seeing Ben. With Daemos distracted, Gwen was able to rescue Kaine and they retreated, though Banner was crippled and captured.

Kaine, along with Ben Reilly and Jessica Drew, later traveled to another universe, from where the cloned bodies that granted the Inheritors immortality came from. Kaine, Ben and Black Widow managed to shut down the facility, at the cost of Reilly’s life, which was run by the Inheritor Jennix. Fueled by rage for Reilly's death, Kaine traveled to Earth-T001, the base of the Inheritors, to take revenge on them. Drawing on the Other's full power, Kaine transformed into a monstrous creature and was able to kill the leader of the Inheritors, Solus. Kaine was seemingly murdered when Morlun used one of Kaine's spider legs to stab him on the neck.

Even though the Spider-Army couldn't save Kaine, they managed to stop the Inheritors once and for all. After all of the spiders returned to their respective universes, Kaine started emerging from his Other form's corpse.

Characterization: While Kaine has shown to have a heroic heart like Peter, he lacks a lot of the people skills and makes many questionable moral decisions.

Friends and Foes: Over time, he has developed a good relationship with his “brother” Peter Parker and has become friends with a handful of people in Houston as well as with most of the other members of the “Spider Family”.

I swear I've never seen a truly bad version of the Spider-Man costume- there's just NOTHING that works quite as well. Spider-Gwen? Awesome. Miguel O'Hara? Awesome. Modern Miguel? Awesome. Iron Spider? Awesome. Scarlet Spider II? Awesome. Hell, Pete himself has the black costume (my favorite costume EVER, though it only really looks good with 1980s coloring & printing- flat black & blue just looks REALLY good, and modern gradations in colors ruin the look) and the Future Foundation one, which was ALSO awesome.

The only one that isn't great is the first Ben Reilly "blue shirt" Scarlet Spider costume, and even that one only looks lame compared to OTHER Spider-designs. It's arguably not that bad compared to other super-heroes.

Well, let me get a little deeper into the Spider Multiverse and we'll see if that holds up. ;)

The Bruce Banner Spider Man isn't that great, but for the most part, they're all pretty good.

Secret Identity: William Braddock, a Captain Britain of Earth-243.

Abilities 102 + Skills 13 (26 ranks) + Advantages 6 + Powers 75 + Defenses 6 = 202 / 202

Build Comments: Spider-UK was one of the leaders of the Spider-Army. He was an OK character but he didn’t grab me, kind like the main Captain Britain. His ultra-heroic nature was a good balance with Superior Spider-Man’s…Otto-ness. And Jab is right. It's amazing how great most of the Spider costumes are. This one is one of my fave.

Since his world was destroyed during the Incursion events, he’s become the leader of the Web Warriors, a group of Spiders that travel the multiverse to assist the Earths that lost their Spiders during the Spider-Verse event. I’m sure we’ll see him again in the upcoming Spider Geddon event.

The Story so Far: A rookie member of the Captain Britain Corps of Earth-243, Spider-UK came to learn of the Great Hunt when Morlun was detected on Earth-1983. Killing the Spider-Man of that world, and after watching two other Spider-Totem-connected people getting manslaughtered, he runs away to warn Saturnyne and Roma of the murders.

However, Saturnyne, more distraught over the Incursions, grew angry at what she felt was something insignificant and ordered Roma to throw him out. However, Roma was much more sympathetic and charged Billy with protecting the other Spiders, considering that their murder must have been for a truly sinister purpose, for which she gave him a talisman to enable him travel through the Multiverse.

During his mission, he came across a certain Spider-Woman. He would later travel with Old Man Spider-Man to recruit Spider-Girl and her brother, although they arrived too late to save her father.

After different complications, the Spider-Army managed to defeat and the Inheritors. When the different Spider-Men that formed the Spider-Army started returning to their respective realities, Spider-UK couldn’t do so, as his universe had been destroyed as a result of the Incursions. He decided to stay in Loomworld, the Inheritors' former base, and form the Warriors of the Great Web, in order use the Web of Life and Destiny to reach out any universe in need of a Spider-Man.

Characterization: Billy has all the heroic attributes of a Spider-Man and Captain Britain. He does lack Spider-Sense, though but has a Spider Talisman that allows him Multiversal travel.
