Complications
- Hatred: Harry despises Dolores Umbridge and Cornelius Fudge for their success at having him expelled from Hogwarts and forcing him to use his rage to power through their attempt at having him forget magic even exists. It was this that wound up attracting the Red Lantern Ring to him in the first place.
- Honor: Harry will not break his word once he has given it to someone, and he will always save a damsel in distress if he learns that such an occurrence has cropped up.
- Motivation: Justice: Harry desires to bring justice to all who would abuse helpless and defenceless children, the way the Dursley's did to him, as well as to bring about an end to Voldemort and his soon to be active reign of terror.
- Power Loss: Harry's ring exhausts its power with time and use. It needs to be recharged using a Red Lantern battery.
- Relationship: Despite the dangers of their romance, Harry is deeply in love with Dancia Malfoy, and has also found himself attracted to both the Red Lantern known as Laira Omoto, and the Green Lantern known as Arisia Rrab. He also recognizes the bond that exists between himself and Gabrielle Delacour, but is unsure what to do about it due to the age he believes her to be.
- Temper: Despite the fact that he is largely in control of his rage, the fact remains that Harry is a Red Lantern for a reason, and occasionally something will provoke him in such a way that he will act upon his fury in almost a blind berserker rage. In such instances, it is generally the responsibility of the women he loves to keep him from killing the target of his rage, as they are the only ones whom he will always listen to, and who he will faithfully prevent himself from hurting.
- Weakness: Red Lantern Corps power rings depend on the ability of the wielders to feel rage. The maximum rank of the Red Light of Rage array effects is equal to Harry’s Fortitude Rank to reflect hiss capacity for raw fury. Calming thoughts and hopeful feelings, such as those inspired by the Blue Lanterns, can cause the ring to fail.
