Complications
- Aura of the Divine: Demeter projects a divine aura that is detectable by the mystical senses of other characters, as well as by most animals. This aura tends to be calming and inspiring to those who are generally good people, while unsettling to those who are not. It also makes it very hard for Demeter to hide what she is.
- Enemy: Demeter absolutely despises Hades for basically enslaving her daughter the way that he did, and would stop at nothing in order to punish him for this transgression. It is in part because of this fact, that Harry actually exists.
- Fame: As one of the Olympians, Demeter is one of the most famous deities to have ever existed. She has had a huge influence on the development of much of the western world, and is in good company with the likes of Hestia and Artemis when it comes to being a patron of the Hearth and Nature.
- Motivation: Noblesse Oblige: Demeter follows a code of Noblesse Oblige when it comes to the purpose of determining her overall motivations. She tries very hard to look out for the common man as best as she is able to.
- Relationship: Demeter is the biological mother of Harry Potter, or at least she was in the timeline that he originates from. In this new timeline, she never opted to incarnate herself as Lily Evans, so there is the distinct possibility that the person known as "Harry Potter" will not be born again. She is also the mother of Persephone, the wife of Hades, King of the Underworld.

Build Comments: I used a couple of custom advantages for this build, all of which come from Mister B's Godlike Rules. Those advantages do the following things:

- Adoration: A god's influence is so great he can now affect a large group of people, by spending a hero point he can now inspire all his allies within a radius equal to his [presence score x 10 feet].
- Benefit, Divine Stature: Determines how important the deity is. This is basically equivalent to the Galactic Reputation advantage as far rules and mechanics go, at least as far as I am concerned.
- Devoted Followers: A god gains a +2 circumstance bonus to Deception and Intimidation checks, with any of his followers. Another rank in this feat, increases the bonus to a +5.
- Omniscience: Some gods have the ability to expand their conscious into the universe, granting them insight into the mysteries about us. This advantage duplicates the Inspiration effect of using hero points. These points can only be spent per campaign session. And then must be rejuvenated. The player cannot have more than 3 ranks in this Advantage.

- Motivation: Doing Good: Much like Harry, Lily has something of a "Saving People Thing", though in her case, it causes her to adopt seemingly hopeless causes and champion them.
- Power Loss: Without access to her Wand, Lily is incapable of casting any of the spells in her Wizarding Array.
- Prejudice: Lily is a Muggle-Born Witch, and like all Muggle-Born Witches and Wizards in Great Britain, faces heavy persecution because of her blood status.
- Relationship: Lily was the childhood friend of Severus Snape, until said moron decided to call her a filthy and disgusting word that caused her to drop her friendship with him faster than you could snap your fingers. She is also the object of James Potter's hopeless infatuation.

Complications
- Enemy: Certain aquatic creatures do not particularly like Veela, which can often lead to dangerous situations if Apolline were to enter a natural body of water.
- Motivation: Thrills: Apolline mostly just wants to enjoy her life to the utmost of her ability to do so, and is looking for a mate who will allow her the freedom to do just that.
- Mythic Weakness: Apolline permanently loses all powers with the "Veela" descriptor if her hair is ever artificially cut back from it's full and natural length.
- Power Loss: Without access to her Wand, Apolline is incapable of casting any of the spells in her Wizarding Array except for Apparition.
- Too Sexy For Her Own Good: The curse of being a veela, is that you are basically born prettier than just about any other woman on the face of the planet, save for another veela or a goddess. This doesn't even include the supernatural allure that veela give off causing men to want to do whatever they can to impress a veela in their proximity. This can and often does lead to all sorts of embarrassments.

- Aura of the Divine: Just like any other deity you could care to name, Aphrodite gives off an aura that makes it hard to hide what she is. The main difference between her aura and that of other deities, is that Aphrodite's aura tends to incite people into performing acts of passion, whether that be actual lovemaking, or simply performing works of art, it doesn't matter.
- Motivation: Hedonism: Aphrodite is the goddess of love, passion and beauty, it isn't hard to figure out what her primary motivation in life happens to be. It also explains her favored environment.
- Relationship: Aphrodite has had more lovers over the centuries than just about any other deity you could care to name. Her latest interest is in Demeter's new son, though she would be more than happy to act through an intermediary, such as Apolline Belmont.
- Reputation: Aphrodite has a reputation for being a flighty, arrogant and needlessly cruel deity. However, she is also known to reward people in truly spectacular ways if they please her in some manner. Such was the case with Pygmalion and his most famous creation, Galatea.

Complications
- Aura of the Divine: Hestia projects a divine aura that is detectable by the mystical senses of other characters, as well as by most animals. This aura tends to be calming and inspiring to those who are generally good people, while unsettling to those who are not. It also makes it very hard for Hestia to hide what she is.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Hestia is easily one of the most benevolent deities in the entire Olympian Pantheon, which is saying a whole heck of a lot on account of the fact that most of the pantheon tend to be rather big jerks. This probably has something to do with the fact that she approaches the world with a childlike innocence.
- Oh, So That's Why!: Idle minds being what they are, most people presumed that Hestia was simply uninterested in boys when it came to the historical claims that she has never had intimate relations with a man... when in reality, it is because she is eternally stuck in the body of a pre-teen.
Quirk: Do not give this girl sugar products or you WILL regret it.
- Relationship: While she is technically his aunt, Hestia kind of views Harry more like he were her older brother, and looks up to him as such. She is also very precocious about their relationship and often channels the behavior little Gabrielle Delacour, much to Harry's total amusement. He especially enjoys when it happens around Apolline.

The Adorable advantage was first introduced by Squirrelly-sama in his Waifu Wars thread. Next up is the Skill Prowess advantage... this is basically Improved Critical, except it is applied to a skill rather than an attack.

- Avatar of Time: Aion is the incarnation of a fundamental, primal concept and is therefore tied to certain actions and pursuits. It's drive towards it's goal, the continuation of time unceasing, is all-consuming.
- Intangible Superpower: Aion isn't really able to interact with the corporeal world in any real way, and must instead work through intermediaries. This means that more often than not, some hapless hero is pulled from his normal timeline and forced to live the remainder of his days in an entirely, or at least mostly, unfamiliar time period. Fortunately, Aion can only pluck someone from their normal timeline right at the moment they would have otherwise died.

Build Comments: So yeah... I do have Power Level X entities in my setting, unlike some of the builders on this site. This is one such. Aion is one of the Primordial Deities, right up there with Gaea, Nyx and the others. This means he really is too powerful for anyone other than maybe Zeus, Hades and Poseidon working as a team to try and consider fighting.

Also, for those people who are confused why I am calling the God of Time "Aion" and not "Cronus", well it is because Cronus represents Linear time, while Aion represents Cyclical Time. When you are a time traveler, you want to use Cyclical Time, not Linear.

- Addiction: Persephone suffers from an addiction to the food that can only be found within the Underworld. This addiction causes her great pain if she is incapable of consuming such cuisine for longer than 2 or 3 months at a time, which is why she only ever spends the summer months in the living world.
- Aura of the Divine: Unlike those deities who are actually legitimately alive, Persephone has one foot in the grave and one foot out of it, which causes her immense distress because it causes most animals to stay the fuck away from her, and unnerves most non-magical humans when she is actually living in the world of mortals.
- Motivation: Acceptance: Persephone does what she can to be accepted both in the Underworld and the Mortal world as a good and helpful person. It is partly for this reason that she has chosen to be a goddess of repose, rather than the more unflattering aspects of death.
- Relationship: Persephone was tricked into becoming the wife of Hades, King of the Underworld, although she has grown to care for him in her own way. She is the mother of Melinoe and Zagreus, as well as the centuries older half-sister to Harry Potter, though neither one of the two siblings has actually met just yet. She is also the apple of her mother Demeter's eye.

Some of these enemies are willing to shout to high heaven about their unrest in front of the Wizengamot, while others prefer to be more subtle about in their efforts.
- Fame: As can be shown from the specific list of Benefit, Status advantages that Dumbledore possesses, the man is quite well decorated and therefore, very influential. If Dumbledore says something should be done in a specific way, odds are people are going to jump into action in order to make that happen.
- Identity: When he was born his name was "Albus Percival Dumbledore." He then added the name "Albus Percival Wulfric Dumbledore" upon completing his apprenticeship in Alchemy, and added the name "Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore" upon acquiring the Order of Merlin, First Class. None of these additional names have any real validity, they are just what he wants people to use when refering to him by all his titles and epithets.
- Motivation: Next Great Adventure: With all that Dumbledore has learend and managed to accomplish in his long and storied but still mortal lifespan, is it any wonder that he tends to view the afterlife as just a continuation on more or less the same theme as he currently has been living with? With that said, he isn't actually in a hurry to die.
- Secret: Dumbledore doesn't exactly want people to discover that when he was young he had been a co-conspirator in Grindelwald's plans to take over much of the world. That still doesn't seem to stop him from using their catchphrase, "For the Greater Good!"

Complications
- Curse Sworn: Voldemort has delved so deeply into the Dark Arts that he is the primary reason that Aion sent Harry backwards in time, as Aion noticed that causality was being upturned due to certain cosmic horrors taking notice of Voldemort in the past, rather than in the present.
- Enemy: Voldemort has been declared a "Dark Lord" by the International Confederation of Wizards. That means the average citizen is legally allowed to use lethal countermeasures against him if he should show his face in public. That said, it still isn't necessarily a good or safe idea to do so in a crowded area.
- Identity: Most people who have met this man within the last decade, refer to him as "Lord Voldemort." Only Albus Dumbledore, and as of recently, Harry Potter, as well as Harry's true blood relations, bother remembering that Voldemort was born with the name "Tom Marvolo Riddle."
- Mythic Weakness: Contrary to what Voldemort believes he has succeeded in doing when he crafted his Horcruxes, he is in reality already dead. You cannot continue to be a living being with less than a complete soul. However, since his corpse is ambulatory, and has a pulse, he is classified a Living Undead, and has all the normal weaknesses that an Undead would have. This means that Holy and Radiant descriptors affect him as though he automatically failed his Resistance check by one degree, and things with a Good descriptor have him failing by two degrees. These failures are cumulative, which is why the Sacrificial Bond ritual sucks so much, as it has the Holy, Radiant AND Good descriptors all in one place. It should be noted that just because something is Holy, does not necessarily mean it is also Good. Unfortunately, none of this matters, because unless one were to destroy all his Horcruxes, he'll just keep coming back.
- Phobia: The primary reason Voldemort created his Horcruxes is because he is absolutely terrified of dying, and wants to live for eternity. It should also be noted that he sits somewhere between being a sociopath and a psychopath.
- Weakness: If spellfire from Voldemort's wand connects with spellfire from Harry's wand, as inevidably tends to happen when Voldemort engages Harry in a duel, Harry can and will force the magic to rebound on Voldemort, inflicting him with the Stunned and Defenseless conditions until Voldemort can successfully resist the effect as though it were a Rank 10 willpower affliction.

I don't think that is the problem. I think it has more to do with the fact that I didn't like how I was writing Hestia. That and if I am going to write a Godly story, I kind of want it to be set in one of three settings, DxD, Campione, or Fate/Series.

Backstory: In a world where Gods, Devils, and Angels are very real, our hero learns that to be the Master of Death is actually to be the Master of one of the most powerful deities in the history of the world. Only, that deity isn't very happy to discover that he is now the servant of someone else, and actually makes a counter offer... a very attractive counter offer named Rossweisse.

  • First and foremost, I will be using a slightly modified version of Mister B's Godly Rules. Complications
Cursed Power: The reason that the Deathly Hallows left such a bloody trail through the pages of history is twofold. First, it is because they were not really intended for most of the people who wielded them. Secondly, it is because while they are divine in nature, they also have a great deal in common with Cursed Swords.
Motivation: Doing Good: Harry's driving motivation is what one of his friends once called his "Saving People Thing", and it is what causes Harry to go out of his way in order to find ways to save people from serious harm and injury.
Power Loss: Without his magical focus, the ranks of the powers in Harry's Master of Death Array are decreased by half (round down). The exception to this is in the case of anything with a Divine descriptor.
Relationship: Rossweisse: Due to having collected the Deathly Hallows, Harry is now bound into a relationship with a representative of one of the Norse deities of death. The fact that the Norse deity of death that created the Hallows happened to be Odin himself, means that Harry wound up being bound into a relationship with one of the Valkyries. Fortunately, at least from Harry's perspective, the Valkyrie in question was the one who needed his help the most. Her name is Rossweisse, and she is utterly beautiful, but also totally underappreciated.

Complications
- A Bit Too Serious: Rossweisse can be a bit too serious for her own good, and will often chide the men in her life whenever she perceives them as being in any way perverted. Fortunately, Harry is one of the few people that knows when to be a pervert and when not to be one.
- Embarrassing Nicknames: Rose hhas been referred to as both "The Valkyrie Who Has Never Had a Boyfriend" and as "Odin's Servant Girl" due to the way she both chose to progress through her school years, and because of how Odin treated their relationship with one another.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Rossweisse is a good and earnest person, who wants to help people when and where she can. She became a Valkyrie as a means of achieving that goal, and is more than happy to be able to continue her primary function since Harry is agreeable to her performing such duties in her off hours.
- Quirk: Rose tends to insist that she and Harry buy their groceries and other supplies at the lowest possible cost whenever and wherever they can. She is one heck of a penny pincher. Rose also has a tendency to speak with a German accent when flustered or embarrassed.
- Wanted: Rose is a 'noted' authority on the subject of 666 (Trihexa), and as such is being hunted down by the members of Qlippoth in their desire to find a way to release the beast of the apocalypse.
- Weakness: Rose is highly susceptible to alcohol intoxication, and will become drunk after just one drink. This was a huge problem for her right up until she left Asgard due to the frequency with which such beverages are served at meals in that realm.
