I thought I would start adding characters I came up with while making things for my fanfiction. Not all of these will make it into my fanfiction stories, but these are just things I came up with. The first couple of posts are reserved for future expansion.

House Rules:
- Squirrelly-Sama's Healing Rule: To combat how OP healing is I implemented a new way to calculate DCs. Rather than just DC 10 a circumstance modifier is added for all damage taken. +1 for each bruise, +2 for dazed (tier 1 afflictions), +3 for staggered (tier 2 afflictions), +5 for incapacitated (tier 3 afflictions). It increases the DC needed to start healing, which mimics how most healers have a hard time doing much against someone who's too hurt. It would stop a healer from just guaranteed rezing someone as soon as they get KO'd unless they have absurd levels (an average roll at 10 ranks of healing is 3 or more damage conditions removed starting from incapacitated)
-- Note: I'm not sure I agree with Squirrelly-sama's assumption that an average roll at 10 ranks will remove 3 or more damage conditions starting from Incapacitated using this rule, since an average roll is a result of 10 on a d20, which would mean you are getting a difference of 7, so one degree of success, assuming the circumstance modifiers are not cumulative, which they aren't in my setting.

Problematic Powers
- Fiendfyre: This is probably best modeled as follows: "Summon 8 (Active, Horde, Multiple Minions 3; Attitude 2)", and using the Fire Creature template from the Fire Power Profile. This in effect means that it would cost someone 64 Power Points, so it is probably best just to use a Power Stunt for this sort of an effect.
- The Patronus Charm: The huge problem with this effect is that it is actually two effects for the price of one. In other words, it is an Altenate Effect Array that would need to appear within a pre-existing Alternate Effect Array, and that isn't supposed to happen. However, for purposes of determining what this power actually does, here they basically are:
-- Dementor Buster: Ranged Burst Area Affliction ? (Will Resist [Entrance, Compelled, Controlled]; Progressive, Area 3, Feature [Extraordinary Effort for +2 Effect Ranks], Increased Range; Diminished Range 1, Limited [to Dementors & Lethifolds], Limited [to Forcing Target away from Area], Tiring). This is basically a Nova Flare as an Affliction with a limitation on what it can actually affect. This sucker costs a whopping 4 pp per rank, meaning for a basic Rank 10 effect, you are looking at 40 pp. This is probably another Power Stunt effect, which is naturally, a problem due to the Tiring and Extraordinary Effort components in the effect.
-- Messenger Patronus: All this amounts to, is a re-skin of the Sending Ritual from Gadget Guides. The fact that the Sending Ritual is a concentration effect is just about perfect too.

These builds probably would best be built with the inclusion of a "Weakness" where the character dehydrates if away from water for too long. I did not include such a complication here since this was just a generic archetype.

Next up, the skills are something which derive from my compulsive need to write Harry Potter fanfics, feel free to rearrange them as you see fit.

Build Notes: The first four of these were converted from the 2nd Edition Freedom City book, as they never made it into the 3rd Edition version of that book, or if they did, I didn't see them. All four of them would make useful source material for characters even in third edition, though the Ultiman seems just a touch OP. The latter two come from Warriors and Warlocks, and really don't transition as nicely into Third Edition due to the loss of a distinction between Sorcery and Wizardry.

Complications
Enemy: The Dark Lord Voldemort tried to kill Harry when he was but one year old. It stands to reason that said Dark Lord, should he still be alive somewhere, will try again when he is best able to manage it. It also stands to reason that the Dark Lord's minions are also a threat to Harry.
Motivation: Doing Good: Harry just can't seem to stop himself from helping those who are in need of help, even if it might endanger his own life for him to do so.
Power Loss: When Harry is not in or near a body of water, or if he is disarmed of the Whale Whisker, then he also loses the ability to utilize all powers in his Hydromancy Array except for the Dehydrate, Electric Shock and Wizarding Magic abilities. Similarly, if he is disarmed of both of his Magical Foci, he loses the ability to utilize his Wizarding Magic.
Relationship: Harry is the nephew of Princess Mera of Xebel, and the Rightful Crown Prince of said kingdom to boot. He is the son of the woman known on the surface as Lily Potter, nee Evans, but who in reality was Lili of Xebel, Crown Princess of said kingdom before her death.
Rivalry: With Donna of the Island of Themyscira, as well as with Draco Malfoy and his cronies.
Weakness: Harry dehydrates when away from water for an extended period of time, becoming impaired, disabled, and finally incapacitated before his condition becomes life threatening. Immersion in water immediately removes all accumulated conditions.

Build Comments: This stat block is representative of Harry in my story "Gens Una Sumus Natando" from about the age of 8 years old, right up until he graduates from his second year at Hogwarts. Naturally, some of the stuff on this stat block, such as the Nimbus 2000 and the Cloak of Invisibility, won't be accessible to him until he starts at Hogwarts, but still, better to have it on this stat block than to try and split it up between more than three stat blocks, which is what I am going to end up doing, by the way.

I decided to handle Wizarding Magic as a variable effect for two reasons. The first is that it tends to have such diverse effects that it would be nearly impossible to cover all of them with an array. The second reason, which is also why the Variable effect has such a low rank, is that with only a few notable exceptions, Wizarding spells aren't very powerful in comparison to the sorts of stuff a Superhero tends to have at their disposal.

Amazonian Fury: Donna is a warrior in training, and she directs her fury into combat. Sometimes unfortunately, her temper really gets away from her.
Difficult Past: Sometimes Donna's past is unclear, even to her.
Motivation: Patriotism: Donna is one of the two princesses of Themyscira, and as such her responsibilities to her people is of paramount importance to her.
Multiversal Nexus Point: Donna is the bridge between a variety of different worlds, which often pulls her into the middle of important and world changing events. One such event, is her friendship & rivalry, with Harry Potter.

Since I was asked to provide a bit of an explanation for what it is I am planning when I design my stat blocks, this is the challenge that I am working off of for my most recent series of stat blocks.

Premise: Horcruxes are born of killing, which is a crime against nature, but who is there to punish this crime? How about the newly born son of the very force itself? «Inspired by DZ2’s “Law of Nature” challenge»

Required Inclusions:
- Lily Evans, at least in Harry's timeline, must have been a human avatar of the Greek goddess known as Demeter, which means that Harry has been born as a Greek demigod.
- When Harry’s powers as a demigod are awoken, the horcrux within him is destroyed, and his body becomes healed/fully restored.
- As Demeter’s son, Harry has the standard abilities of a Greek Demigod, and also gains the ability to shapeshift into any natural animal, as well as the ability to speak to any animal.
- Harry must gain a true and proper Familiar, as opposed to the standard Post Owls employed by Wizarding Britain.
- Those races that are in-tune with the flow of nature must see Harry as royalty. This includes, but is not limited to, Pegusi, Unicorns, Centaur, House Elves and Veela.
- Harry’s powers are perfectly suited towards combating the corruptive properties of Dark Magic, which means he needs to have at least one power geared specifically for that task.

Preferred Inclusions:
- Harry gaining a unique focus that is on par with the Elder Wand in terms of how powerful it is when compared with standard magical foci.
- The fact that Harry is so in tune with the forces of nature must frighten, unnerve and awe various people to differing degrees.
- Before awakening to his demigod nature, Harry dies a mortal death. For instance, perhaps the story starts after the fight with the basilisk, or else at the end of Deathly Hallows.
- Harry being sent back in time to help him with fulfilling his task, rather than being required to fulfill the task in the current age. Possible inclusion of events during the Marauder Era.

Optional Inclusions:
- Crossovers with any other series that the author desires.
- One of Harry’s powers allows him to gain nourishment/regenerate when he is in contact with the earth.
- Harry also gaining the ability to control nature itself, either manifesting as plant manipulation, leyline control, or life force control (the latter of which can also include plant manipulation).
-Harry gaining the ability to bestow similar powers to his own upon other characters, including the extended longevity of a Demigod.

Forbidden Things:
- Malnourished or Weak Harry.
- Harry allowing anyone to control him against his will anymore.
- Harry wielding the Elder Wand instead of the aforementioned Focus.
- Tom gaining Harry’s allegiance in some manner.
- Harry speaking “Just” Parseltongue.

Comments: I will go on record as saying I am borrowing ideas for this challenge from a wide variety of sources, including but not limited to Mister B's Wizard's Template, as well as a number of Rogue Genius Games Supplements.

On the Topic of Eldritch Horrors: They can and will appear in this fic. However generally speaking, the vast majority of them will have game stats virtually indistinguishable from one another, so it is generally preferable to just build them using the Elder Evil template from the Game Master's Guide for the deities, while using the Critter Creator from Supernatural Handbook for the mook level horrors.

Complications
- Aura of the Divine: Harry projects a divine aura that is detectable by the mystical senses of other characters, as well as by most animals. This aura tends to be calming and inspiring to those who are generally good people, while unsettling to those who are not. It also makes it very hard for Harry to hide what he is.
- Enemy: Harry is the enemy of the Dark Lord Voldemort, and pretty much all of his supporters. He will go to great lengths in order to ensure that Voldemort is properly dealt with, even going so far as to steal from Voldemort some of his most powerful supporters.
- Motivation: Doing Good: Harry's driving motivation is what one of his friends once called his "Saving People Thing", and it is what causes Harry to go out of his way in order to find ways to save people from serious harm and injury.
- Power Loss: Without access to his Wand or Nature's Spike, Harry is incapable of casting any of the spells in his Wizarding Array except for Apparition.
- Responsibility: Harry is destined to be the scourge of pretty much anything that can be considered as "Unnatural." Although in some cases, he might be willing to make an exception.
- Rivalry: With Hades, though Harry isn't quite aware of this rivalry as of yet. This is due to the fact that Hades basically kidnapped Harry's older sister in order to force her into being his wife.

Build Comments: With everything else that this Harry is capable of doing, I just did not really see the point of also giving him the ability to shapeshift into any and every type of animal on the face of the planet, considering just how costly such an ability actually is. He's good enough without it... maybe if he is good, I might give him an Animagus form at a later date.

I should also probably note, that the characters for my stories aren't really intended to be used in actual games. They are built according to how they would be portrayed in the story, rather than as playable characters.

It's always interesting seeing you build characters sheet in this manner. It's vastly different from how I work, which is one of the biggest reasons as to why I like watching so much. :)

Complications
- All The Guys Want Her: Bellatrix is easily one of the most attractive women in her age group, and as such is someone who is desired by pretty much every male in said age group. There are multiple individuals trying to claim her hand, and several of them work for the Dark Lord Voldemort.
- Honor: Bellatrix tries to live by the codes of chivalry, though more often than not she tends to take on the role of the distressed damsel rather than one of the knights, despite her preference towards being a knight.
- Motivation: Patriotism: Bellatrix wants to do the right thing by her nation, and will often jump into situations where she can prove her loyalty to her nation, without really thinking about the consequences that are involved with such reckless actions.
- Power Loss: Without access to her Wand, Bellatrix is incapable of casting any of the spells in her Wizarding Array except for Apparition.
- Relationship: Bellatrix is the youngest of the three daughters of Druella and Cygnus Black. This confuses Harry, because in his timeline, she was the eldest of her sisters. She is also a cousin, through her Great Aunt Dorea, to the local version of James Potter, as well as to Sirius Black.
