Re: J-Mart: Spider Verse - Spiders, Driders

For me the biggest problem of the Driders is that they're often portrayed as bestial and having low intellect, which negates one of their biggest strengths: using tools to supplement their natural abilities.

Also, I never really liked the lore of Lolth punishing them.

I had to double-check because I've missed the little infoboxes before, but there is no "Boost" in 3rd Edition.
Fair enough.

Re: Questions on Telekinesis build via Move Object

In 2e Areas could be labelled as Targeted, meaning that using them required the character to make a "to hit roll" and compared them to the Defense of all the people inside the area. This also allowed to build Multiattack Areas, but the option went away in 3e. BTW, in both 2e and 3e Leveled...

Pretty much the same thing in my honest opinion.😶
Not for me, my grandmother was born in Pittsburg.

Re: How far does a sense that is made to be Ranged reach?

In 2e weapons had a maximum reach of 10 increments and sense followed a similar logic.

Re: Jab's Power Profiles: Snare! Nullify! Weaken!

Magic (and psionics by extension) are a problem because most writers think of it as a universal solution, rather than a power with limits and complications. As absurd as it might sound, Zatanna is a great magic-based character because her power have a very clear and well defined limitation: no back...

Re: Jab’s Builds! (Nightwatch! Deathgrin! Warforce! Streets of Rage!)

Interestingly, Street of Rage 2 broke the mold by having Blaze as the balaced character, Skate as the quick bastard, Axel as the power & speed and Max as the tank.

Re: Jab’s Builds! (Nightwatch! Deathgrin! Warforce! Streets of Rage!)

Street of Rage 2 was the third beat'em up I've ever played (after Double Dragons and Golden Axe) and is still in my top 5 today.

I was too afraid and disgusted to ask.
For real, X-Statix is one of those series that killed my interest in comics.

Re: The T-Verse (Earth 75): Hanna-Barberra Heroes - Space Ghost & Teen Force

This is interesting stuff: for eons I considered Hanna-Barbera the rancid anus of animation, and liked only their modern stuff that ripped on the old stuff or altered it to make it funny. I hadn't even realized they were into the superhero business 50 years ago. I still love the comment Chuck Jones...
