Re: Thunder Woman Universe/Extraordinary Mythos

The the size comparison you give for the Siderotaur. Yes? That was supposed to say "Thanks for the size comparison you give for the Siderotaur." I blame tired fingers & using my phone to post for that. lol, no worries. The artist is the one who actually did that, although I had it in ...

Re: The Power Company Annual #1 Campaign

We've got about 5 days left to hit goal! We're so close, can almost touch it! Besides some physical and digital catchup tiers and cover variants, we have a couple spots open in our "cameo" tier, so if you have a character you want to make a comic book debut, well, this is one such opportun...

Well, it's basically a combo of Talos from "Jason and the Argonauts," the Minaton from "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger," and the Asgardian Destroyer from the Thor comics, so 2 out of 3... ;)

The Siderotaur

Every good superhero needs at least ONE recurring giant monster enemy. Well, Thunder Woman's got more than one, but those'll come later. Meet the giant supernaturally-powered fire-breathing iron bull of Hephaestus, the Siderotaur!

Tsarin

And now for a more solidly straightforward villain, representing the "organized crime" side of things, with a bit of a development and insight into how some other villains fit into things.

Re: Thunder Woman Universe/Extraordinary Mythos

The Martin Clay subplot always interested me- I remember you mentioning he was kind of an... idealized boyfriend type for Samantha? Like he represented this potential future life and world that she was REALLY interested in, and that was part of their relationship? Per our discussion in the old thre...

The Power Company Annual #1 Campaign

So, my buddies and I at Coalition Comics have a campaign going for the next comic issue of our collaborative shared superhero book, The Power Company: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ccthepowercompany/power-company-annual-1-ongoing-series This issue is a special annual anthology issue with indi...

Martin Clay and Derek Duvall

Couple more infoblocks for some human level antagonist characters, whose action and plans/plot add a very different feel compared to the criminals, supervillains, aliens, and mythical beings Thunder Woman normally deals with. The whole thing is very much a "Metal Gear Solid/Captain America: The...

While I do really like the "Evil Superman by way of Dracula" outfit Nefaria is well known for, I have a soft spot for this armored look.

Davies wrote: Mon Jul 18, 2022 7:41 pm ... the Perez character is a nice tribute, even if (as seems likely) you came up with him long before Mr. Perez passed.
Yup. I created him as a tribute to George many, many years before his passing this year, and I imagine he will continue to carry that torch.

Agent Joseph Perez and Jessica Sinclair

Two new infoblocks completed for a couple of characters for Thunder Woman's corner of things: a supporting character, and an antagonist. Right now a lot of my focus is developing these non-powered, non-superhero/villain type characters, so that's what will compose the bulk of updates here for a whil...

Thunder Woman Villains Part 3

Final completed set. Everything from here on out will be one at a time and piecemeal, so I will likely transition updates to another thread, like an art gallery here. https://i.postimg.cc/SKCHx6nM/Miranda-Iryn.png https://i.postimg.cc/pXgCS3Zw/Monster-Woman.png https://i.postimg.cc/25WwmGH1/Nemo-Oud...

Re: Thunder Woman Universe/Extraordinary Mythos

I really like all the varied villain roles, including the clever uses of Greek mythology alongside villains with different backgrounds. The idea of a next generation of the Olympian pantheon being formed (even as just a villainous group) is always fun, and fits right into the themes of the original...

Thunder Woman Villains Part 2

Next set of villains. I'll note that Malekha Tanith's inclusion here is due to her appearing in the upcoming comic as an adversary, but apart from that she is not a member of Thunder Woman's rogues gallery in the same way the other villains are, but rather is a more general, greater scope villain fo...
